Specialist Care Team (Lancashire)

Most are very helpful and great at doing their jobs. Unfortunately, it only takes one to make a client feel down and puts the rest at an uneasy feeling. I shouldn't have to be checking if people can wash up and keep my home tidy. It's not a nice feeling when I'm needing care but as I say, it only takes one.

Specialist Care Team cared for my elderly mother before she passed away. Their care was excellent in every way. All my mother's needs were attended to with full dignity and respect. Their care given was ultra-professional.

I find the lady who comes to help me with my needs very professional and always cheerful and bubbly, in my opinion, she is excellent at her job. Could not ask for any better, they are always on time and if they are running late because of traffic then they ring me to let me know. They are willing to do whatever I need them to help me with.

I am very happy with the Specialist Care Team and their staff who assist me with cooking, cleaning, shopping and anything else I require.

I can not speak highly enough of the care and service provided by Specialist Care. From the initial meeting to the final day of care the level of service provided was excellent. Communication was excellent throughout and all of the carers treated mum with dignity and respect. Punctual, polite, humorous, efficient, flexible, kind are only some of the adjectives that I can use to describe the team which looked after mum. Initially, I had been unsure how mum would take to being cared for. How pleased, then, to discover that she was looking forward to the visits and spending time with the carers who came. I was impressed by the level of communication between the team members who kept each other informed as to mum's condition. I was also grateful for the level of support provided to me during the period of care. I would be happy to recommend Specialist Care to anyone seeking a care package. I can't imagine a higher level of service being offered.
