I would highly recommend Walfinch, Harrow & Brent agency to anyone. I used their services when my father was coming out of the hospital. I found them to be both very professional and supportive. The managing director and her team were approachable and always willing to listen and help in any way they could. I even got some valuable advice from the staff regarding my dad's dementia issue. The company also appeared to be supporting their carer as well as listening to any of our concerns. I wanted a carer who could speak Punjabi, which is my father's mother tongue, to ease Dad back into his home environment. The staff member was a blessing. She was very caring and treated my father with the greatest of respect. When providing personal care, she did so by keeping his dignity at all times. The meals were freshly cooked and the house was always clean and tidy. Medications were administered on time throughout the day. We could trust the carer and didn’t have to prompt her to do anything. If funds were not an issue would use them again
I would recommend this agency.
We are so grateful for their professionalism, kindness and care for my mother-in-law and the rest of the family in the last few weeks of her life.
Christies Care were very accommodating and helped us a great deal, having been completely new to needing care.
The carers, in particular, I can’t thank enough for being such lovely, kind and caring ladies.
I'm a client of Christie’s Care and they did a wonderful job in caring for my niece in her last days. I couldn't speak more highly of them, from the management to the carers. The carers in particular.
I chose Christies Care for my mother's care as the owner of Christies was very personable in really understanding my mother's specific language, cultural and religious needs and sensitivities when appointing carers. Although this took a little time to set set up, I felt Christies were working with us as a family, we were not "just another client". We were going through a difficult time as my mother was a palliative cancer care patient. The carers were lovely and flexible to assist my mother with her personal care, preparing food and domestic help and giving moral support to both my mother and me. Unfortunately we only used Christies for approximately two weeks, as my mother's health declined rapidly and she passed away, but I'm sure we would have continued to use Christies if my mother was still with us. Thank you Christies.
The care and treatment provided by Christies Care Harrow for my mother in her final days was absolutely faultless. Although it was only for a week, the care coordinator and team were professional throughout and could not have helped care for her any more than they did. By visiting twice a day (or three or four times if we requested) they were able to help wash her and change her clothing and bedsheets and carry out the exercises we were not able to do, whilst keeping my mum as pain-free as possible. We would have been absolutely lost without the care coordinator and her team. They were able to help provide us with help and advice for what to do throughout the day/night when they were not there, and also reassure us that what we were doing was correct. We could not have wished for a better team to care for Mum during her final days which we will be eternally grateful for, and we would recommend Christies Care and especially the care coordinator and all of her team to any other family faced in a similar situation.
