I am having a short holiday and the staff have been accommodating about coming for extra hours at a time to suit my husband. It is such a relief to go away and know that he will be well supported in my absence.

We had a waking night from February 19th to the beginning of May. The management were very helpful and made sure we met all the carers before they came to sit. The three staff who helped us were all lovely, kind, respectful to my husband and supportive of me. Unfortunately, our situation worsened and a care home was required. I would recommend this company to anybody.

I had Radfield start coming to look after my nan after she was discharged from hospital in February 2023. She absolutely loved them, they were brilliant with her and always accommodating with her ever-changing needs. She required district nursing care for several months so we left Radfield during this time, now she has recovered we have Radfield back and she is happier than ever. The staff that look after her are lovely and always communicate any issues or concerns, the management is also fabulous and I can't thank them enough for helping me look after my nan.

Cost was not an overriding factor when we contracted with Radfield: but when we found out the charges we were very pleasantly surprised. Radfield's fees are lower than those of other care providers we had approached.

I am really pleased with the service I have received while recovering from problems after left hip replacement and a nasty fall. Every member of the team were kind and helpful and always went the extra mile. I was very well cared for. The management team were also very helpful and responded very quickly to requests. I would not hesitate to recommend the team.

My review is from 23/10/23-24/1/24. All the carers are pleasant and reliable if there has been a problem they have contacted me, however, I do think the fees are high as there isn't anything to do but just check on the client and have a chat.

I am pleased (and relieved) that reliable and agreeable carers, who dad likes, are helping to extend Dad's independent living. He enjoys an hour of company, gets his evening meal cooked and served, and has some interesting conversations. His kitchen is always left clean and messages in his journal keep us all up to speed with any issues.

Since then I feel like all my dad's needs have been met and that the staff and carers have all treated my dad with respect and dignity.
My dad is no angel but unfortunately, that's part of his condition and he suffers from behavioural problems linked to his MS which very often leads him to act strange.
I did feel let down last year after the termination email arrived in my inbox but I do feel that this year Radfield have gone above and beyond in all aspects of the care given to my dad and support to the family.
Part of me still isn't sure whether that's only because we made an official complaint about the planned withdrawal of service or whether that's because they actually do care.
But nevertheless, I am still grateful for a good year of care for my dad.

We really value the service provided to Mum. The care team are punctual and follow the agreed care plan. They help Mum to shower and treat her with dignity and respect. Meet the Team (3)
Julie, co-owner and director of Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port before living overseas for 10 years, worked for ‘Diageo’ for 15 years as an account administrator. She also was a team leader in departmental projects and delivered training when the department migrated overseas. Julie started her own Childcare business which she ran for 4 years gaining childcare qualifications before going overseas.
Whilst working overseas Julie worked in Dubai English Speaking College as a Food and Nutrition Technician and Kitchen Manager, gaining many qualifications in food & nutrition, first aid and fire marshal.
Julie explains, “We came back to Chester, my husband’s hometown, to settle back into English life and to get involved in the community around us. We both knew that we wanted to give something back to the community we love and get involved in making people's lives better.”
“Both Kevin and I wanted to create a business that we are both passionate about and can work at together for our future.”
Kevin, co-owner and director of Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port has a wealth of knowledge across many corporate business sectors.
As a qualified quantity surveyor, Kevin has worked on many major projects around the world, with over 20 years of experience as a contracts engineer and manager, working and living in the Middle East for much of his career.
Kevin explains, “Chester is my hometown, and we both love to get involved and help the community around us. As a home care provider, we have the vision to make older people’s lives better by being compassionate, trustworthy, friendly and professional in the service we provide.”

We would like to introduce you to Clare Harding, the Registered Care Manager for Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port.
I have over a decade of experience in care, starting out as a care professional. Over the years, I progressed to a field care supervisor and assistant care manager.
I started my career in care as a part-time care professional. When I moved over to the care sector full-time time I was promoted to field care supervisor, then to assistant care manager and on to registered care manager. Starting as a care professional has meant that I understand the challenges that care professionals face every day. I still enjoy delivering care and being out and about supporting the care professionals, clients and their families.
I have always enjoyed helping people and spending a lot of time with my grandma and her friends when I was a child. I was a manager in the catering sector for many years. I then went on to apply to be a part-time care professional, quickly discovering that I had found the perfect career path and moved over to the care sector full-time. I enjoy putting a smile on the clients' faces and going home with a feeling that I had made a difference in someone’s day.
Throughout my career, I have completed every role in the field and in the office within Domiciliary Care. This has provided me with good overall knowledge of every part of the business. As a care professional, I especially enjoyed delivering end-of-life care and dementia care to clients. I have extensive knowledge and experience that our clients can benefit from. I am dedicated to delivering outstanding care to our clients and their families. To help our clients to live in their own homes with their memories for as long as possible.
