I am a carer for my husband but need to stay away from home from time to time. We have had the same carer from Whitehills for more than a year. Gillian moves in and is like one of the family. My husband always looks forward to seeing her. She is as much a companion as a carer. I know that I can leave him with complete confidence.

We have been using Whitehills care since February. I have found the carer (s) sent to be excellent and the organisation to be entirely flexible. They are completely dedicated to the concerns of the service user.

For us the most important thing was Mother felt very comfortable with you all right from the beginning - it was not an easy decision for her to accept that she needed the extra help but you have all made the transition seamless for her. You are all very professional, reliable, helpful and kind and she really looks forward to your arrival morning and evening. For us, as her children, it has taken quite a lot of pressure off us and, although we can cope with appointments, shopping etc, during the day, we very much appreciate your help at either end of the day. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending you and your services to other people.
