All Home Instead office staff and carers were kind and helpful - always dealt with calls in a professional manner/never critical - the carers were always on time, and spent time talking to Mum when tasks were completed. The online portal was brilliant - extremely useful/especially as the client had

A superb service. My mother has been a client of Home Instead (Swansea) for about 3 months and is impressed with the standard of care she receives. The carers are willing and helpful - nothing is too much trouble - from doing some ironing to preparing a sandwich for lunch. Mum's needs are always uppermost.
The carers always arrive promptly and the office staff always keep the family informed of any changes to the rota.
Would definitely recommend Home Instead (Swansea).

I have been a client for about three months. Fiercely independent and very reluctant user, but the service provided has made a huge positive impact on my life. Carers are helpful and informed. From making coffee on a complicated machine to knowing what needs doing from day to day. Nice to see familiar
faces, but the machine works well during holidays too.

Mum has dementia (Alzheimer's) and is unable to do much for herself. As well as shorter visits from another care agency she has a two hour daily visit from Home Instead, which enables me to work.
The carers always do their best to ensure that Mum is safe, comfortable, fed and happy. They interact
with her and go above and beyond to treat her as I would, rather than just going through a tick list of tasks. They are also very good at noticing changes, issues etc and letting me know about them.
Office staff are always helpful and prompt.
Finding good care for a loved one is difficult but Home Instead genuinely help to take the pressure off me.

We were generally very happy with the level of care provided by Home Instead caregivers. Their input with my Mum has undoubtedly improved and strengthened her mental and physical health. When Home Instead started, Mum had been in bed for a couple of months after a fall, was hardly eating anything and
was too frail to walk. With their attention, care and support Mum is now eating more, getting up and dressed again and moving around the house with a frame. Communication was generally fine although we did have to chase up on invoices/statements etc which wasn't helpful. That said, we would definitely choose Home Instead again and recommend to others.

My husband was diagnosed with vascular dementia eight years ago and lives with sight and hearing impairments. Without the unwavering support from Home Instead I would not have been able to care for him at home. The carers and office staff at Home Instead have always been professional, kind, caring and

Since the death of her husband 4 years ago my 96year old aunt has received outstanding care from Home Instead. Every visit was a joy for her and the kindness of all the caregivers enriched her life. She loved having the twice-daily visits and never stopped singing their praises.
Recently, my aunt fell
out of bed and was on the floor when her caregiver arrived at 9.15. Home Instead worked tirelessly to find staff to stay with my aunt for the whole day and most of the night until a paramedic arrived at 3.00 am.
Throughout the time my aunt received support from Home instead the communication with my sister and me, her next of kin, was excellent. As we both live some distance away - it was very important that we were able to trust the staff to let us know of any concerns they had. Thank you to you all.

Father has complex needs requiring several visits each day. The Home Instead staff are courteous and professional, sometimes in difficult situations.

Home Instead made it possible for my mum to return home after a long hospital stay. My mum has always been very independent but realised she needed care and support to live safely at home. Her caregivers are genuinely caring ladies who go above and beyond and are always respectful of my mum and her
home. Now that her health has deteriorated the caregivers remain sensitive and are instrumental in my mum being able to remain at home. The activity log completed after each visit gives a clear account of how my mum has been.
The caregivers are polite and friendly, so are the office staff who also provide a first-class service and are always prompt to respond to any request. Out of hours service is the same.

Brilliant company. I was nervous at first to start using a care company due to my mother’s dementia and how she would cope getting to know so many people during the week. But I can honestly say that Home Instead made me feel at ease straight away. They are on hand whenever you need them, via phone,
social media or email and they respond within the same day.
The caring standard is exceptional and Mum has come on leaps and bounds with her confidence and her speech which has really made a difference.

Ben Ruddle

Job Title: Franchise Owner Joined: 2009

Residing in Bridgend with his wife and children, Ben is dedicated to forging community connections and identifying individuals in need of our support. His academic background in Accounting at Lancashire University laid the groundwork for a multifaceted career, including financial consultancy and property investment.


Ben's motivation to begin operating in the care sector began following a poignant personal experience — witnessing the inadequate care available to his 98-year-old grandfather living with dementia, an area of expertise for Home Instead. Ben was most displeased by the task-oriented approach to care, as he strongly believed in the need to recognise clients as individuals and provide high-quality, compassionate care.


Motivated by a desire to redefine care standards, Ben established a Swansea branch of Home Instead. Here, the emphasis lies in person-centred care meticulously crafted to meet each client's unique needs and desires.


Recognizing Home Instead's unparalleled commitment to compassion and individualised care, Ben was drawn to its distinctive approach, where service quality takes precedence above all else.

Lisa Rosser

Job Title: Registered Care Manager Joined: 2015

Lisa started with Home Instead Swansea as a Care Professional back in 2015, before progressing to join the office team as a scheduler.


With a vast understanding of elderly care, Lisa has gained invaluable expertise through a five-year dedication to supporting her grandad, who battled Vascular Dementia, followed by an additional eight years working within the care industry.


Lisa's journey began at Home Instead Swansea in 2015, where she joined us as a Care Professional. She swiftly progressed to become a scheduler within a year. Presently, as the registered Care Manager, Lisa is committed to ensuring that our clients experience comprehensive support and an unwavering sense of safety within the familiarity of their own homes.


Embracing the ethos of Home Instead, Lisa is driven by the belief that keeping clients in their beloved homes for as long as possible is of the highest importance if that's what they choose. Malgorzata 'Margaret' Warzycha

Job Title: Finance Officer Joined: 2013

Margaret's commitment to delivering exceptional care traces back to her time caring for her mother in Poland. It was this experience that motivated Margaret to align her financial expertise with her passion and to join Home Instead Swansea.


In 2013, Margaret brought her extensive financial experience, from roles in both the UK and Poland, to our team. Her professional journey includes collaborating with numerous small businesses, handling account preparations and payroll responsibilities. Margaret enjoys a busy finance department and appreciates the variety it offers.


Margaret works for us on a part-time basis, dedicating her Thursdays and Fridays to supporting both the Swansea and Neath branches.

Clive Cremin

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2022

Clive joined the Home Instead Swansea team in January 2022 as a General Manager with impressive experience.


Before working with Home Instead, Clive served in the Royal Air Force for over 20 years as an Operations and Logistics Manager. It was then he made the move into the care industry, as he excelled in his new role as a senior manager for a social care company in the Vale of Glamorgan.


Clive enjoys working closely with the Office team on finding creative ways to develop our approach to business, so we can stand out from the crowd and provide the highest quality of service and care for our valued clients.


As a keen advocate of continued professional development, Clive is currently studying for a Master of Business Administration in Leadership at the University of Lincoln.

Glycelle Melocotones

Job Title: Office Coordinator Joined: 2023

Gly, a seasoned Human Resources Generalist, seamlessly joined the Home Instead Swansea team in 2023, bringing with her an impressive track record of HR expertise.


In 2018, Gly graduated from Centre Escolar University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, furthering her academic accomplishments by successfully passing the 'Human Resources Associate exam in 2021. Armed with this knowledge, she started her professional career by contributing her skills to multiple Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Retail organizations in the Philippines. Gly played a pivotal role in managing day-to-day HR operations.


Within Home Instead, Swansea, Gly's responsibilities extend to overseeing day-to-day tasks vital for the smooth operation of office functions. Gemma Phillips

Job Title: Senior Care Professional Joined: 2022

Gemma began her career as a hairdresser before realising she wanted to care for people on a deeper level. This led her to join Home Instead in the summer of 2022 as a Care Professional.


Gemma quickly settled into her new role, becoming a favourite among her regular clients. Her ability to learn quickly and perform well under pressure earned her a place on the On-Call Team, supporting our clients and Care Professionals on the 24-hour office helpline.


Recently, Gemma transitioned to the office as a Senior Care Professional. In this role, she assists the office team with monitoring the phones and conducts service reviews to ensure our clients are satisfied with the service.
