Mum is very happy with the service you are providing. Staff are punctual and friendly. Mum feels comfortable with staff, and looks forward to them calling. It really helps us as a family having carers come in to support Mum weekly.

Overall Experience
Home Instead made it possible for me to have my first holiday abroad in 4 years. The care they provided for my daughter, was professional, caring, reliable and flexible.
To be able to log onto the account while abroad and see the carer's comments was so reassuring.

The service not only gave me a break but gave my daughter independence. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

Find the service very friendly, and adaptable to my brother-in-law's needs. Able to phone office and get help almost immediately, very understanding to clients needs, would recommend this service to others if asked. As my brother-in-law is now on his own, it is a comfort to know he is having contact with someone reliable a few days a week. Nothing is too much trouble for the helper, and he is very satisfied with the service.

Mum is very satisfied with the professional care provided and looks forward to her daily visits. Carers are always cheerful and polite. Mum likes the fact she usually has the same carer at the same time of day.

Outstanding service for my mother. I have seen my mother's confidence grow as a result of the excellent care given by Katie and Home Instead.
Friendly, reliable and nothing is too much trouble.
My family are able to go to work knowing that our Mum is safe and happy.

Overall Experience

All Home Instead office staff and carers were kind and helpful - always dealt with calls in a professional manner/never critical - the carers were always on time, and spent time talking to Mum when tasks were completed. The online portal was brilliant - extremely useful/especially as the client had dementia. I would highly recommend Home Instead Swansea.

From my first phone call through to home visit and care Home Instead (Swansea)

have been professional, warm and kind. Two staff members made a very difficult time much more manageable with their fabulous approach and understanding towards both my elderly parents.

Thank you for an excellent cover of my Mum's needs. The carers have been excellent in their interactions with Mum and have been able to help her get a proper start to the day with her various needs.
We are looking to extend the cover to every morning from the three mornings she already has.

A superb service. My mother has been a client of Home Instead (Swansea) for about 3 months and is impressed with the standard of care she receives. The carers are willing and helpful - nothing is too much trouble - from doing some ironing to preparing a sandwich for lunch. Mum's needs are always uppermost. The carers always arrive promptly and the office staff always keep the family informed of any changes to the rota.

Would definitely recommend Home Instead (Swansea).

Overall Experience
I have been a client for about three months. Fiercely independent and very reluctant user, but the service provided has made a huge positive impact on my life. Carers are helpful and informed. From making coffee on a complicated machine to knowing what needs doing from day to day. Nice to see familiar faces, but the machine works well during holidays too.

First class and bizarrely happy with my carers!

Always an efficient service the team are very helpful and accommodating - especially in communicating if changes are needed. One staff member has been my mum's carer for a long time now and she is very happy with the service given.

Overall Experience
Mum has dementia (Alzheimer's) and is unable to do much for herself. As well as shorter visits from another care agency she has a two hour daily visit from Home Instead, which enables me to work.
The carers always do their best to ensure that Mum is safe, comfortable, fed and happy. They interact with her and go above and beyond to treat her as I would, rather than just going through a tick list of tasks. They are also very good at noticing changes, issues etc and letting me know about them.
Office staff are always helpful and prompt.

Finding good care for a loved one is difficult but Home Instead genuinely help to take the pressure off me.

We were generally very happy with the level of care provided by Home Instead caregivers. Their input with my Mum has undoubtedly improved and strengthened her mental and physical health. When Home Instead started, Mum had been in bed for a couple of months after a fall, was hardly eating anything and was too frail to walk. With their attention, care and support Mum is now eating more, getting up and dressed again and moving around the house with a frame. Communication was generally fine although we did have to chase up on invoices/statements etc which wasn't helpful. That said, we would definitely choose Home Instead again and recommend to others.

Overall Experience

My husband was diagnosed with vascular dementia eight years ago and lives with sight and hearing impairments. Without the unwavering support from Home Instead I would not have been able to care for him at home. The carers and office staff at Home Instead have always been professional, kind, caring and willing to go the extra mile for us both. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Since the death of her husband 4 years ago my 96year old aunt has received outstanding care from Home Instead. Every visit was a joy for her and the kindness of all the caregivers enriched her life. She loved having the twice-daily visits and never stopped singing their praises.
Recently, my aunt fell out of bed and was on the floor when her caregiver arrived at 9.15. Home Instead worked tirelessly to find staff to stay with my aunt for the whole day and most of the night until a paramedic arrived at 3.00 am.

Throughout the time my aunt received support from Home instead the communication with my sister and me, her next of kin, was excellent. As we both live some distance away - it was very important that we were able to trust the staff to let us know of any concerns they had. Thank you to you all.

Home Instead have been first class in helping my father to continue at home, rather than living in a care home.
Father has complex needs requiring several visits each day. The Home Instead staff are courteous and professional, sometimes in difficult situations.

Home Instead made it possible for my mum to return home after a long hospital stay. My mum has always been very independent but realised she needed care and support to live safely at home. Her caregivers are genuinely caring ladies who go above and beyond and are always respectful of my mum and her home. Now that her health has deteriorated the caregivers remain sensitive and are instrumental in my mum being able to remain at home. The activity log completed after each visit gives a clear account of how my mum has been.

The caregivers are polite and friendly, so are the office staff who also provide a first-class service and are always prompt to respond to any request. Out of hours service is the same.

Ben Ruddle

Residing in Bridgend with his wife and children, Ben is dedicated to forging community connections and identifying individuals in need of our support. His academic background in Accounting at Lancashire University laid the groundwork for a multifaceted career, including financial consultancy and property investment.

Ben's motivation to begin operating in the care sector began following a poignant personal experience — witnessing the inadequate care available to his 98-year-old grandfather living with dementia, an area of expertise for Home Instead. Ben was most displeased by the task-oriented approach to care, as he strongly believed in the need to recognise clients as individuals and provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Motivated by a desire to redefine care standards, Ben established a Swansea branch of Home Instead. Here, the emphasis lies in person-centred care meticulously crafted to meet each client's unique needs and desires.

Lisa Rosser

Lisa started with Home Instead Swansea as a Care Professional back in 2015, before progressing to join the office team as a scheduler.

With a vast understanding of elderly care, Lisa has gained invaluable expertise through a five-year dedication to supporting her grandad, who battled Vascular Dementia, followed by an additional eight years working within the care industry.

Lisa's journey began at Home Instead Swansea in 2015, where she joined us as a Care Professional. She swiftly progressed to become a scheduler within a year. Presently, as the registered Care Manager, Lisa is committed to ensuring that our clients experience comprehensive support and an unwavering sense of safety within the familiarity of their own homes.

Embracing the ethos of Home Instead, Lisa is driven by the belief that keeping clients in their beloved homes for as long as possible is of the highest importance if that's what they choose. Her passion lies in creating an environment where individuals receive compassionate care by highly-trained Care Professionals who can help promote their well-being and independence.

Margaret's commitment to delivering exceptional care traces back to her time caring for her mother in Poland. It was this experience that motivated Margaret to align her financial expertise with her passion and to join Home Instead Swansea.

In 2013, Margaret brought her extensive financial experience, from roles in both the UK and Poland, to our team. Her professional journey includes collaborating with numerous small businesses, handling account preparations and payroll responsibilities. Margaret enjoys a busy finance department and appreciates the variety it offers.

Margaret works for us on a part-time basis, dedicating her Thursdays and Fridays to supporting both the Swansea and Neath branches.

Clive joined the Home Instead Swansea team in January 2022 as a General Manager with impressive experience.

Before working with Home Instead, Clive served in the Royal Air Force for over 20 years as an Operations and Logistics Manager. It was then that he made the move into the care industry, as he excelled in his new role as a senior manager for a social care company in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Clive enjoys working closely with the Office team on finding creative ways to develop our approach to business, so we can stand out from the crowd and provide the highest quality of service and care for our valued clients.

Glycelle Melocotones

Gly, a seasoned Human Resources Generalist, seamlessly joined the Home Instead Swansea team in 2023, bringing with her an impressive track record of HR expertise.

In 2018, Gly graduated from Centre Escolar University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, furthering her academic accomplishments by successfully passing the 'Human Resources Associate exam in 2021. Armed with this knowledge, she started her professional career by contributing her skills to multiple Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Retail organisations in the Philippines.
