Home Instead has been caring for my aunt for a few years now. She regards the carers as her friends and her regular care providers have become fond of her. Especially in the current climate of pandemic lockdown, Home Instead have been a reassuring and consistent presence in her life. I live 250 miles away and I can't thank each of the carers enough for all the help they provide. The level of care that everyone at HomeInstead provides is outstanding.

If you're at the point of looking for some additional care and help, even if just for an hour or 2 a day, then I would look no further than this exceptional company.

My mum loves her visits from her caregivers and they are brilliant with her. It is great for me to know they are there to give her the support she needs. It takes the pressure off me and I feel happy and reassured that she is in great hands.

The management team were extremely efficient and always went the extra mile to ensure the best care for mum and reassurance for us as a family. We live a long distance away from my grandfather and having care for him that we can trust and feel confident in is of the utmost importance. I work in the care profession myself so know the varied standards you can receive and that some companies keep their staff so busy and stretched that they don’t have time to demonstrate care. At Home Instead they don’t do this. Their staff are given enough time with each client to be able to offer care and companionship. They will notice what is needed and have bought shopping without being asked. They have also stayed late on occasions when he has become distressed and are not happy to leave him whilst he is unsettled. The management have always been very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble and they will use their initiative to plan and provide the best care at the best times. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough. We are so grateful to have this care provision by people who have spent the time getting to know my grandfather.

I would like to thank the staff of Home Instead Senior Care for the professional manner in which they have looked after my parents for several months now. We went with Home Instead Senior Care after a care company failed to look after my Mam and Dad the way I would have liked. Since changing to Home Instead Senior Care, my parents who both have Dementia and Alzheimer's have shown great improvement with their illness due to the excellent care and look much happier, cleaner and the house is also immaculate at all times. There have been a few challenges along the way, but being able to work with the staff who are always available, all the problem have been solved with as little fuss as possible. The service my mother has received from the Blackpool office of Home Instead has been exceptional. In particular her carer has made such a big difference to my mum's life. She has MS and her carer helps first thing in the morning with showering and breakfast. She treats mum with care, dignity and friendliness. So grateful we found Home Instead

Home Instead provided personal care and cleaning services to my mother at home and, after a serious accident, assistance whilst she was in the local hospital. The carers visited on time, stayed for the agreed duration and performed the agreed services. I was unable to visit the hospital every day and arranged with hospital staff for the carer to visit during protected meal times to ensure my mother had a sufficient intake of food and drink. Home Instead provided feedback when necessary. Invoicing was accurate and, given the quality and reliability of the service, the cost was fair when compared to the provision of state services. (I had experience of the latter whilst caring for another elderly relative and found the frequent change of carers, short (rushed) visits and unreliable visiting times very disruptive).

I cannot sing the praises of Home Instead loudly enough. This company listen to clients and carers and actually provide a service that YOU want, rather than what suits their organisation. Nothing is too much trouble and the peace of mind that I have knowing that my Mum is being cared for by kind, caring professional people is priceless. They have time to care for my Mum but also to chat to her and share stories. They are patient and courteous and she looks forward to their visits. There is a small team of staff that care for my Mum so she is not always encountering strangers and the communication between Home Instead and me regarding my Mum's care is excellent. I would highly recommend this company - the support my Mum and I have had from them from day one has been excellent.
