Home Instead have proved to be invaluable already in the 4months my wife has been a client.
Their highly professional and caring approach is to be commended. My wife now has a real 'Pal' with whom she can once again, enjoy lovely walks around the village meeting her old friends while also getting
some exercise.
Her companion has become a friend who she looks forward to spending time with.

This being the first experience of receiving care, I have found the workers I have had looking after my various needs very helpful. Each carer has their own personality and I find that they are always agreeable with any requests that I ask them to do.


I cannot say that I don't "get on" or disagree

with any of my carers.

I have had senior care for the last ten months and been very satisfied with all the carers. They have all been extremely kind and have helped me a lot. I look forward so much to their visits, we have a chat and then go to my local shops where we get my food shopping which they carry for me up two flights
of stairs as I cannot carry it myself.

We have employed Home Instead for nearly a year and found them excellent. Have only once, some time ago, requested a change in carer. This caused no problem.


My husband looks forward to their visits to give him a shower (three times a week) and he enjoys the company of the carer who is always thoughtful.


It

is a great help to me and gives me a little break and I think we work well together. Home Instead does their best to accommdate any change we might have to make at short notice.

I appreciate being able to stay in my own home with its familiar surroundings. It is nice to have help on hand when I need it from the same carer. I have got to know them well and trust them knowing that they have been carefully chosen by the provider, therefore I feel confident and safe with them.
My family is happy knowing that I am being cared for.

My mother in law receives a weekly companionship visit from Home Instead. The big plus with this company is the consistency of the visitor so that a real rapport has been built up between them and my mother in law.
The carer is professional, kind and positive with an upbeat manner and shows an interest
in my mum in law and her conversations, which is much appreciated.

I used Home Instead Havant to help care for my Mum. She was diagnosed with dementia in 2015, and as a family, we needed some support to help her to stay living in her home with my Dad.
Home Instead were amazing! They met with all of us and discussed exactly what Mum needed. They matched her with someone
who was able to both be a carer and a companion. Her presence in the flat enabled my Dad to get some much needed time to himself, as well as go out and do some shopping, have lunch etc, all the while knowing Mum was safe.
Nothing was too much trouble, and when we were struggling with Mum wanting to walk around outside, they arranged for someone to come once a day to take her out. When that arrangement stopped working, then we changed it again, straight away with no issues. When she needed to move into a care home, there was no problem.
I cannot recommend them highly enough, they give peace of mind with someone we can trust. Thank you!

We are very pleased with the care service we have received. The carers are reliable, punctual and professional. They have also been friendly and courteous. If a new carer is to be sent to us, they are always formally introduced to us before they start. I would definitely recommend Home Instead to anyone
looking for care for an elderly person.

My husband has Frontotemporal Dementia, a condition that affects his ability to speak or take part in a conversation. This had proved a huge stumbling block with most agencies when trying to find a suitable companion for him. Home Instead has a unique approach to caring. They actually take the time
to research the client so that the service provided is tailor made so to speak. I didn't want a carer for my husband he needed a companion and that's exactly what he's got. His companion certainly goes the extra mile to ensure my husband can once again enjoy some of the activities he once loved. Badminton, the Golf driving range, walks, museums or just a coffee somewhere, nothing is too much trouble, it's all about my husband and what makes a difference to him for those few hours. Thank you Home Instead for really caring about someone who is very special to me.

I have been using 'Home Instead' to provide daily care for my elderly mother, I have been very impressed by the service they provide. The carers are alway punctual, we have a limited number of regular carers which my mother likes, they are alway attentive to her needs, treat her with dignity and have
a great deal of patience in facing daily challenges. They alway keep me informed of her well-being. I cannot recommend this company too highly.

I could not have wished for better care which was given to my husband. The staff were fantastic and did the job with pride and care. I only wished I had them from the very beginning, I think my husband would of got on really well with them as well. I really cannot praise them and thank them enough.

They were extremely friendly and personable and took the time to listen well to the needs of the client - my father-in-law. They responded and matched him very well to a certain few carers. They were flexible with modifications to suit the client as we started along the journey. They are always on
the other end of the phone. Many many thank you's.
