We are very grateful for Uniques support at this difficult time.
They try very hard to work around our needs and can adapt/adjust quickly.
Our main Carer has developed an excellent relationship with my Father and has persevered when it has not been easy.


We would highly recommend Unique Homecare

The standard of care delivered by the carers is excellent. They are sensitive to my mother's requirements, cheerful and willing to oblige. She enjoys their visits. Some problems with timings from time to time but usually due to staffing emergencies (illness etc.) and these have been dealt with in
a polite and professional manner.

I have been extremely lucky to have had one carer for most of the time I have been a client and she is excellent.
When she has been unable to come the replacements have also been very good I am very happy with the support and care I have received from Unique Homecare Services.

My parents are both of the proud generation who would normally be against the idea of accepting any form of help. My mother has Vascular Dementia and my father is registered blind and has Myeloma. Unique have provided an unbelievable service, my parents are content, nothing is too much trouble for the
carers. They have a full understanding of my mothers condition and somedays just sit and help with a jigsaw which is what's needed. Dad gets as much help as he wants.
The carers adapt to whatever situation they encounter when they arrive at my parents. My brother and I live a distance away from our parents and Unique have provided peace of mind. Communication is good.

I particularly like one of the carers who lives near and comes most often.
I have on occasion had 'strangers' appear instead of the appointed carer without having been told beforehand.
The office is the weak link in the organisation.
Otherwise, I am quite impressed.

The service we receive from our care provider is consistently excellent. I particularly appreciate that the care provided is tailored to my needs. When my mum was taken ill at Christmas we were desperate to find suitable care for her at short notice. Unique Homecare Services Ltd was recommended to us and they really exceeded expectations. From the very first visit, when they knew very little about mum and her needs, it was obvious that the carers
knew what they were doing. They were kind and efficient, reassuring and comforting with a sense of humour and positivity - a breath of fresh air. Theis service has continued over the months. Our carers are punctual, friendly and always patient and professional. I hope Unique Homecare Services Ltd will continue to flourish and as they grow, retain their very special identity and service.

Unique where recommended to myself and my husband to help in the care of my elderly Father who suffers with dementia - and we could not have managed to care for Dad in his own home until recently without their care and attention- which we found was second to none.


Nothing was ever to much trouble

even when we needed help at short notice - completely trustworthy and experienced staff who would always go the extra mile and happily stay on when we went to find dad if he wandered and most importantly Dad himself valued their care for him!

I would not hesitate to recommend Unique to anybody who is looking for care for their loved ones - Thank you all for everything.

Arranged provider after a recommendation from doctor's surgery. Found the care to be excellent.
I had not been able to have a break for 4 and a half years of caring for my husband.
The carer took care of my husband for two weeks, day and night. I went abroad to visit my son.
I had peace of mind knowing
my husband would be well taken care of.
Management and leadership are excellent.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Changed to Unique from another provider in 2017 so I can compare the service provided. My father now receives excellent daily care and this is mainly due to two facts.
Firstly: He now sees the same carer pretty well every day. Historically he saw a different person each day and was not sure who would
turn up.
Secondly: The carers have experience and are more mature than the carers of the past.


Unique staff go the extra mile to make a 97-year-old comfortable in his own home.

When we moved to direct payments we chose to change care provider and can honestly say it was the best thing we did.
Having Mum seen as a person, not just a name on a list, has given us all peace of mind.
The care provided is excellent and we have a good relationship and regular contact with Unique.

Once again Unique have stepped into the breach to provide crisis cover when let down by a national care service provider yet again. The manager and her team are a credit to the profession and ethos they have put in place. The care and empathy delivered by all goes way beyond the normal service of others.
This is a care model the government and local councils should adopt. Thanks to all keep going from strength to strength.

My family and I wholeheartedly recommend this agency.
Their philosophy is dignity with care and kindness, staff and management exude this.
Communication is excellent, we as a family are kept up to date with all necessary information.

Cannot praise these people enough.
Unique Homecare have cared for my mother in law who has Alzheimer's for some time now and although her behaviour can be very challenging they always ensure she maintains her dignity and treat her with respect and compassion at all times.
We feel totally at ease
when she is in their care, having the peace of mind that she is being well looked after by people she has built a rapport with and who genuinely seem to enjoy their job.
Continuity of care was extremely important to us and where possible, even at very short notice this has been provided. All the carers are friendly and supportive of the family as well as their clients. Management and leadership is excellent and provide a hands on approach both in support of their clients and staff.


The highest accolade I could give to these carers is that they are definitely, "The next best thing to family". I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for first class sensitive care.
