My Homecare Derbyshire is a private limited company, established to meet the care and support needs of people wishing to maintain their independence and continue living in their own home across the Derbyshire area. Registered with the Care Quality Commission, the company provides domiciliary care and live in care services, where required.
My Homecare offers the following services:
• General/personal care. Assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, assistance with daily living i.e. getting up and going to bed
• Assistance with bathing or showering
• Meals cooked in your own home and times you wish

Ever since my brother has been in the care of My Homecare Derby he’s been well taken care of. I’m extremely happy to give a review that my brother is in safe hands and getting the care and treatment he needs. I can tell he’s been well taken care of and for that I want to give my review about how happy I am with this service. My brother speaks very highly of the carers and how they take good care of him. He feels happy that they give him the strength and motivation to be able to feel active in his property. He always gets his service on time and we appreciate the work the carers have been doing.

Generally provide very good care and attention. Regular staff are very friendly, careful, gentle and helpful (so says my wife, who is the patient). I personally think the My Homecare team operating in our area are a bit stretched compared to our initial experiences, probably down to natural staff turn over for personal reasons and demands for home care services rather than nursing home rehabilitation in the current circumstances. As long as one attendee is experienced there aren't any problems, but when two people are drafted in from another area they don't know the patient's issues and needs. This rarely happens and they all try their best and are generally happy, helpful and friendly.

My friend was reluctant to have carers but has now got used to them being in his house. He gets on with them easily, and they try to persuade him to get a wash etc. Overall, it has been a good experience changing to this company.

He is being cared for in a compassionate manner, and being treated as an individual with his wishes being taken into consideration. The carers arrive on time and spend as much time as needed with him, not rushing him. The app is very informative, and whenever I ring the office, they are very helpful when needing to let them know about appointments and hospital outcomes. We always feel we are being listened to.
