Alcedo Care is very good. No problems.

We have been really impressed with everyone we have liaised with, from the initial call and assessment to the wonderful carers and management support. We approached Alcedo Care to provide temporary support following mum's long hospital stay and heart operation. Mum is a retired Care Quality Commission Inspector and has nothing but praise for the experience and care she has received. The excellent, proactive and genuine care for mum and our supporting family has made a stressful transition significantly less so. Thank you.

My son can have challenging behaviour when anxious and his carers are very good at giving him space when needed, and being flexible to enable him to do what he needs to stay regulated. He has really positive relationships with both carers and office staff, and enjoys popping into the office for a chat. The office staff are great. Any concerns we have raised or changes requested have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

I am very happy with the service, care team are wonderful and they treat me well.

Apart from the holiday, I have a weekly 3 hour visit which allows me to get out of the house and do things I am normally not able to do.

The support I receive from the carers is great, they support me to live my life the best way I can, they show me great respect to myself and my property, the office staff are good when I call them, they explain to me what is happening with my visits.

We have been with Alcedo Care for over six months and the care has been a great help in getting my husband up in the mornings, showered, shaved, and having breakfast! He responds very well to their care and gets up at once (he doesn't when I do it!). Carers are always very friendly and polite, and I know my husband responds to them well. Thank you!

In the case of the carer who presented this to me, I am well pleasant and welcome her each time, as I know things will be done to my complete satisfaction. It would be much better if management could allow all carers considerably more travelling time between clients, particularly in summer months, as currently I and no doubt most of your clients of necessity have to wait many minutes after their due time for meals etc.

Alcedo are doing a really good job in the current difficult care climate. The best thing about them is how promptly and enthusiastically the current manager Rachel, responds to feedback from family of clients.

My daughter's carers have got to know her well and respond to her needs, she seems happy to go out with them and when she returns.

The lady has been to me on four occasions regarding my procedure. She is a lovely caring young woman who understands the importance of keeping my dignity intact. She's very thoughtful and always smilng and proactive, I look forward to her visits. I have no complaints at all she follows all the infection control and does what is needed. I'm hopeful she'll be with me for some time.
