Alcedo care are amazing with my daughter, highly trained staff who are absolutely lovely people. They communicate with her in her own individual way and adapt when she's struggling. I love that they understand her neuro diversity and can provide consistency.

I can't recommend the team enough... if you or a member of your family need care and support, these are the people to use..

Alcedo have been my cherry on the cake since our beautiful carers started helping with my daughter, they are all fabulous with all her needs, my daughter is very complex and her carers know all of her., I trust them enough to go out and try to be me again, office staff are just like my friends, friendly and I can speak to them so lovely. Five star from myself and my daughter,

Fabulous care team nothing is too much trouble very caring and professional staff. Reliable and trustworthy. Office staff curtious and polite and helpful. Mum has a wonderful relationship with her carer who goes out of her way to keep mum safe and calm. I have used other companies but none have even come close to the standard of Alcedo.

Been with them 5 months now and care package still not fully in place... lots of communication issues. They send random carers youve never met even though Ive highlighted people to be in my team and trained for me. Increasing my anxiety and stress levels which having this care is meant to decrease this... there are some good carers but also a lot of staff that cant follow instructions.

If there was a 6 star review I would leave that!!

I don't recommend

my son has enjoyed his days out with the staff and also has been happy to go out with them on arrival and with him being non verbal is massive for him to go happily shows he is really enjoying his time out with the staff. this also gives him a change of face from myself and his brother which he needs.

the staff are really engaging and have trialed different days out with my son, and braved settings i would struggle to take him myself.

Currently getting care for my partners Nan and they've been amazing from the first initial meet up about what care requirements she needs to now having the carer coming in weekly to help her. I can't thank the team enough for all they've done so far and would recommend them to anyone who is needed care for a loved one.

My experience with Alcedo is mainly good. Mum gets treated really well the carers that she gets are great if we ever have a problem the office are all great and sort out our problem. There are one or two carers that Mum loves and really looks forward to them coming as it brightens up her day.

I have been receiving support from Alcedo carers for almost a year now. They support my young som who has physical and mental disabilities with access to the community as well as home support. Receiving support from Alcedo has massively improved his quality of life with developing personal relationships and engaging in activities outside of school. The carers they have been sending have gone above and beyond to ensure that my son is happy and active. The office staff have been extremely supportive and understanding with the allocation of his hours. I do not know what we would do without them.

All the carers that attend to my wife are really pleasant and thorough. They have taken a lot of worry off my shoulders. My wife is a lot happier after they have left each day.

Friendly carer, interacted well with mum. Asked her what she wanted and where she would like her medication. Mum supported through a shower, also helped her to dress and come downstairs, made tea and toast. Cheerful manner, emptyed bathroom bin.

And they will lie to cover themselves when you pull them on their failings! Shocking quality.

I recomand with all my heart the services.

I commissioned weekly one hour visits for my mother, sadly diagnosed with Aphasia leaving her completely non-verbal. I can honestly say that the needs of my mother have been met in full, with anything I ask for provided without question. I have now increased the visits to twice weekly which again was supported immediately and with the the team ensuring that my mothers needs were met at both calls and attempting to ensure continuity of care giver each time. I have been extremely impressed with both the responses from the commissioning team and the carers who are looking after my mother. My mother has had carers now for several months, after some reluctance from my mother she now looks forward to their visit and whilst she cannot communicate with the carers she certainly enjoys the interactions they have. The experience to-date is extremely positive I would certainly recommend Alcedo to anyone looking for complex/dementia type care in the home.

I cannot recommend them highly enough for the attention to detail, and great peace of mind it gives us knowing mum is under their care when we are not available.
