An outstanding care team. We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful care, kindness and compassion you showed towards our mum Shirley. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did for Mum and the support you gave us as a family during what was a very difficult time. We would not have managed without Alcedo Care!! Alcedo Care provide a social visit to our sister in law in a care home. This gives her a social visit other than ourselves so she has interaction wtih other people. It also gives us extra visits when we are away on holiday so she still has a visitor. Then incase of need we have alternative back up care for our sister who she knows should the need arise.

Towards the end of my grandmother's life, it fell to us to help my father and aunt with her care. But with work, and everyday life, we knew we couldn't give her the level of care she needed on our own.

The team at Alcedo Care Bury made such a difference. They stepped in and gave my grandmother the care, dignity and support she deserved, and it was clear they genuinely cared about her wellbeing.

Having them there took a huge weight off our shoulders. Instead of constantly worrying about whether everything was being done, we were able to spend quality time with her as her family near the end.

Alcedo care have provided care to my elderly father suffering with Alzheimer, for nearly twelve months ,starting with a single visit to ensure he had eaten and had a hot drink during the day. as is condition worsened and he eventually became bed ridden ,alcedo care provided 2 carers four times a day to care for his increasing needs up to his passing a few days ago. We as a family can only thank alcedo care for their outstanding service and professionalism from the management staff to the male and female boots on the ground .we have no doubts whatsoever that without alcedo care ,dad would not have survived for as long as he did and most certainly would not have been able to stay in his own home during his illness. Arrived on time. Ensured all information was correct. Explained the process. All questions explained. Understood completed on time and professionally.

There has been a massive change in my son since using Alcedo care. He has not been as anxious when out in the community, his confidence and concentration have improved, and his carers take him to all the different places he wants to go. Both myself and his dad and management for Alcedo care, have noticed a massive improvement. Since using Alcedo Care, we can't thank them enough for all they are doing for our son.

Alcedo Care are carers for my daughter and I cannot speak more highly about them, "best in class service". Two carers inparticular have been absolutely amazing with my daughter going over an above to make her feel confortable, happy and at ease. They are Clare and Elle-Nicole - both brilliant. My daughter has various special needs and is not always the easiest person to deal with but both Clare and Elle found a way instantly and built up a very trusting, special bond. I have recently had an assessment for my mum with Michelle, she was very thorough when explaining the service and what they can support with. The service has been fantastic including the communication from the start with the manager Heather, she offered reassurance and guidance from the off set to make sure everything was right for our family. I would highly recommend.

Alcedo had to start caring for our Aunt living with Dementia with no handover from previous carers and with no notice. They handled the situation with professionalism and above all, care. They have gone above and beyond what we asked for in order to care for our aunt to the highest level.
