Our family are so pleased that we used Home Instead during my mother's recent recovery from her 3rd hip dislocation. Having been allocated care companies by the hospital SW team on the previous occasions, we decided that we would do it ourselves and thank goodness we did. From the moment I spoke to the company, their professionalism was evident, at the home assessment my 86 yr old mother was immediately reassured. She was so relieved to hear that she would be getting regular ladies each day. In total Mum had 2 regular carers and a couple of others, but these were always introduced beforehand. We hired Home Instead for 8 weeks and during that time, the carers supported Mum not just physically but also helped to restore her confidence. They were happy to oblige with anything that my Mum asked for, help with and their friendliness also provide much-needed company for mum which was important for her recovery. Without a doubt I would always recommend Home Instead, thank you from us all.

Very pleased with all aspects of care.
Carers are skilled and very caring.
Find no embarrassment with the more intimate aspects of care.

Used for one month only up until now but have no complaints thus far.

Overall Experience

Home Instead Senior Care (Welwyn & Hatfield) have been providing me with care service since October 2016 after my previous care agency withdrew their service following several disagreements. I have had no such disagreements with Home Instead Senior Care. The carers are efficient, pleasant and eager to please. The management is accessible and again eager to please. With increasing age and infirmity, I have to surrender my modesty and dignity but this is of less concern as the carers and I trust each other with the respect. The carers are more mature than my previous agency and we have a good rapport and companionship and provides a weekly conversation.

Overall Experience
The short time my mother had Home Instead, communication was prompt and responsive.
Her carer was always considerate, helpful and friendly.

As a care provider the experience was consistently professional and would use Home Instead again.

Overall Experience

We have used Home Instead while our mum was recuperating from a broken hip. Their care was marvellous. All calls came when booked, punctuality very good and continuity of carers gave her confidence and peace of mind. Thank you.

Overall Experience

I was very happy to use Home Instead after my hip replacement operation. I was free to concentrate on my recovery without worrying about day to day running and cleaning of my house. The girls were helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to help. The manager took the time and trouble in helping me with my household arrangements. Thank you all for your help.
