My first encounter with Home Instead was when I was looking for carers for my mum last October. I was trying to assist the discharge co-ordinator as she she was struggling to find anyone. From my first contact with them to the continuing contact now, it has been lovely. My mum was discharged for 'end of life' care, it was a scary time, and with two carers, three times a day, we were able to establish a routine very quickly. As my mum thrived at home and became stronger, Home Instead were able to adjust the care package according to her fewer needs. The carers we have met along the way have been empathetic, professional and take time to listen to Mum as she struggles with her speech as a result of two strokes. From being bedbound for several weeks, she is now walking at home unaided and only uses a wheelie frame when outside. Her diet is normal, and she has a good appetite. We would thoroughly recommend Home Instead! Thank you.
Home Instead was brilliant with my dad in his final days. Amazing bunch, thank you so much Home Instead.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this on to the team.
Home Instead have been very helpful and the girls are very helpful and cheerful.
Thank you, Morgan, your comments are very much appreciated by myself and the team.
The team who supported my mum is amazing. Mum is living with Alzheimer's and the ladies who visit are very knowledgeable and so compassionate. The caregivers know how to stimulate her and encourage her to have some independence and fun.
Thank you Cathy for your kind words, it is very much appreciated by the team.
Love my girls coming to see me every day. Make me smile and laugh so kind and caring.
I have been very pleased with the care I have received. The carers have been most helpful.
The team at Home Instead really support mum in a very caring way. The ladies always go the extra mile for her.
Thank you for your kind words, the caregivers who support your mum are very fond of her.
Very caring, cheerful, not rushed.
Caregivers give peace of mind and support to the family plus lots of reassurance. Special thanks to two staff, for all their support.
We are very satisfied with the service received from Home Instead. It is a particularly difficult time, but the team have gone out of their way to help and support my mother. Especially keeping me up to date with any difficulties she is having and being extremely proactive and efficient in providing the care she needs, so thank you fo this.
I am very happy with all aspects of my care I receive.
The attention and companionship I receive is first class, I love the girls who visit.
Thank you for your kind review, I will pass this onto the team, much appreciated.
Some helpers are more caring and thoughtful than others but all are very kind and helpful.
Service delivery is well established and carers are all acquainted with my wife's needs. The regular visits enable me to hold a conversation outside usual limits.
Treated with care and love.
Home Instead Aylesbury has provided top-notch support for my mum who now really has changed since the visits began. Mum is chatty, happy and contented at home now. This has really taken the pressure off of me especially in the lockdown.
Home Instead has provided fantastic dementia support for my mum, very impressed and much appreciated. The Caregivers and care manager have been incredibly supportive. Mum loves the company and they really engage with her and she is always smiling, which makes me smile. Thank you Home Instead.
My dad is always laughing about the 'banter' he has with his 2 caregivers who visit regularly.
Amazing company, can't thank them enough.
I find the minimum care very good as I am not hurried and therefore do not have difficult breathing problems. All the carers are patient and give my bones time to adjust. They are good girls with my meals and do what I require.
A very satisfactory service.

Meet the Team (6)
My name is Fay Sinclair and I have been working in the care sector since 1998. Over these years I have gained knowledge and experience working in many different areas of care such as child welfare, Residential care, and working with people living with dementia. I love to care for individuals in our community by supporting them and encouraging them to live happily in their own homes. My passion for care in the community informed my decision to permanently move to Domiciliary care in 2003.
I joined Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire in May 2020 as a Senior Care Professional. The values and beliefs held by Home Instead, particularly those in supporting individuals in our local community and offering truly person-centred care represent what I stand for. This enables me to thoroughly enjoy my job on a daily basis. Home Instead is where I have decided I want to grow my career as quality is never compromised and the team are highly professional in everything that they do.
In the summer of 2022, I started feeling that I could do more and set my sights on becoming the Care Manager. The owners have fully supported my ambition and my studies for Level 5 in Health and Social Care. In doing so I have stepped into my current role as a Care Manager. There is a lot to learn but one of the things I’ve learnt by being at Home Instead is that we are always learning. If it’s not learning something new then it’s learning to improve.
I can’t express how happy I am doing what I do with Home Instead but I can say that I’m very excited and looking forward to a continued career with Home Instead.
My name is Julia, and I joined the Home Instead family in August 2020 as a Care Professional. I didn’t think that I could start afresh with a new career but having worked with Home Instead and realising that the owners were very supportive of development, I started considering building my career here.
Since joining, I’ve been fully supported to complete my Level 2 in Health and Social Care and have more recently started my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I’ve also successfully been promoted to a Senior Care Professional role. I am very proud of my achievements and am very happy to be working with an organisation that puts client care at the heart of what we do. I really enjoy what I do. I love providing hands-on care in the community and supporting our Care Professionals in doing their fantastic work.
I used to work with children so providing care to a different age group was completely new to me. Home Instead taught me how to help and support individuals in the community in a way that enhances their quality of life. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with great clients and amazing colleagues, and I am excited about my future with Home Instead.
Hi, my name is Luan. I get satisfaction from ensuring that all of our client care packages are delivered with continuity and stability to the best that can be achieved. I also prioritise our Care Professional's well-being when planning and coordinating client visits.
Hi, my name is Donna. After caring for a family member it became clear that becoming a Caregiver was the role for me. I love making a difference to our clients and their families, this is what gives me job satisfaction.
Hi, my name is Klaudia. Caregiving is one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I love caring for clients and I love to see them smiling when I walk through their door.
My name is Matthew Coombs. I joined Home Instead Aylesbury Vale & Northeast Oxfordshire in January 2023 as a student on a placement year, to gain some physical experience of how a business works, and to support my learning in business management. After my placement year, I have continued with Home Instead as the lead Recruiter.
Home Instead does some amazing work with its clients in their local community. I am proud to say I am part of such a positive organisation, working to change the face of ageing. It is uncommon to find a company that is such a great match for your values, so I cannot be happier at Home Instead.
The customer is right at the heart of what we do here at Home Instead. Our client-oriented approach allows us to provide meaningful and relationship-led lead care with professionalism. Everyone at Home Instead shares the same values of delivering quality care in people's homes, enabling them to get the most out of their daily living. The Home Instead Care Professionals always put the client at the centre of what they do, making a difference through the care they provide. Working alongside such an amazing team motivates me within my role, and I could not be happier supporting our Care Professionals.
As a student placement, I was given the opportunity to develop with the team and really get involved with the organisation. The responsibilities I was given were great for my personal and professional development. This motivated me to strive to improve myself and build upon the work which I do, to enable Home Instead to work towards their vision of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Since my student placement, this motivation has remained the same. The core Home Instead values are embodied across the organisation. The role of lead Recruiter has allowed me to meet some remarkable people who do incredible work for others. I look forward to coming to work each day in the knowledge that I am part of such a great organisation, where I can play my part in making a positive difference.
