Home Instead have been a wonderful support for mum. I love the fact it's a small team and each member got to know mums personality with all the quirks associated with Alzheimer's. Every one of the care team treated mum with respect, were really friendly & lovely with her, had cups of tea and a chat and made sure she was safe in her own home.

Mum has had support from the team at home instead for a while now, but recently I wasn't able to be around as much as usual. Mum's team have been amazing. They are always super, but they really have gone above and beyond over the past couple of weeks. I cannot say how much I have appreciated their care, compassion and support providing for mum's needs. Simply the best.

When the first carer arrived to help my mum, it was like an angel had come to our door. In our most difficult hours, the whole Home Instead team were a huge help to Mum and to the rest of our family. They gave her support, care and dignity and provided myself and my dad with some much-needed respite. They couldn't have been a warmer, more comfortable presence in the house. Home Instead have been instrumental in allowing my brother to remain in his own home. He has a regular team of carers which means they have got to know and understand my brother. As a result, he feels very much happier and more confident. Communication within the team and with me is excellent, so any potential problems can be dealt with before they escalate.

I am so grateful to Home Instead for their wonderful care and kindness to my gran this last year and a half. The whole team is brilliant - we can't stress enough how much we have valued this support. My gran (who is 98 years old) has loved the companionship and the carers have helped in so many ways - from helping her continue to get out, taking her out for coffee and trips to the park - which she has really loved. It's really kept her spirits up! My gran has vascular dementia and everyone at Home Instead has gone above and beyond to support not only my gran but me and my family too. As things got more difficult these last few months, Home Instead were able to provide extra visits at the last minute which we were so appreciative of. They're an amazing team, so kind and compassionate. We're really going to miss them and would thoroughly recommend them!

It's been a really difficult few years for my friend. He has no real support and his family doesn't really pay much attention. He has slowly succumbed to not going anywhere and losing all interest in things that he used to love due to having dementia and absolutely no memory. The carers from Home Instead have supported him in more ways than I can say. They help him maintain his dignity with his personal care even though this has been a struggle, keep his home tidy and manageable and they have managed to get him out and about again after four long years of being isolated. They have made a real difference and I can rest easy knowing that he has a team of dedicated professionals looking after him. I have nothing but praise for the care workers that come into my mum's home. They all go above and beyond to help her, even though, because of her dementia she can be difficult at times. The impact of the care has made my life less stressful knowing my mum is well cared for and has given my mum the ability to stay in her own home, living independently as possible, for as long as she can, which is what she wants. Nothing is too much trouble for the whole team - including the office - and, knowing they keep me informed of anything of concern is reassuring. Being able to access her care notes online is brilliant as I can see what has happened throughout her day and the app that links all her carers, office staff and family is a big asset keeping everyone in contact and being able to share messages. I would recommend them 100%.

Having read the reviews on this company I recommended them to my friend/neighbour. Home Instead (South Manchester/North Trafford) have now become valuable companions for my neighbour and have given her not only her independence back but have boosted her confidence too. She looks forward to their visits and especially her weekly trips to the shops. Five stars.

The team of caregivers provide an excellent service for my mum. They each bring their own qualities and skills. They are professional and efficient. Their warmth and empathy have enabled them to form a bond with my mum. Whilst carrying out their roles they engage with my mum in a truly respectful and cheerful manner.

The caregivers for my father are exceptional. I cannot speak highly enough about the love and attention they give him and the security this gives me about how safe he is and how well he is looked after. They have a really great camaraderie with him and give him fabulous friendship as well as looking after his needs. They treat him with respect (as he does with them) and it brings me great joy to know that he has these incredible people in his life - and our life. My home help is pleasant, cheerful, honest, efficient and a thoroughly good worker.

It has been a godsend to find support for my mum through Home Instead. The staff have taken time to build trust with her so she is now accepting of the extra care she needs at this point. They are kind, sensitive, funny and always professional. They also make time to check in with me so we are approaching things with consistency. I can see that we will need more input in due course and I feel confident that Home Instead will enable my mum to stay in her own home and receive the care she needs.
