I have been supported by Bridgewater (Harborough) for over a year. It has been a happy and effective experience. The initial visit by senior staff established a sound working relationship with a faultless choice of carers. They are affable and courteous and their ability to see where help is needed, and act upon it, has enabled me to remain independently in my own home. I always welcome their enlivening visits.

This is an excellent caring agency that is able to deal with any, and varied problems. Staff are all very capable and able to adjust care to individual circumstances. They are always punctual, good humoured and able to adjust to any job that needs action. The ethos of the agency that care should be as near to family as possible is particularly welcome.

We are very pleased to be clients.

My mum has recently needed to have home care - we chose Bridgewater as Helen who came to see us initially was warm, friendly and showed my mum understanding and kindness. My mum wants to maintain some indepence and Helen understood this straight away. The app which the carers use describes the care given is very detailed and it is very reassuring to be fully aware of what has happened over the day with mum when we can't be there to see her.
Although early days we have been very impressed and mum is happy with

"her girls " .

After a previous bad experience with private care we came across 'Bridgewater Home Care'. What a company! The staff, from the office to the carers are all professional, kind, caring, understanding and human! Both my parents and the rest of the family are happy to have them around and they totally morph into how you want the care plan to be. They are walking angels and don't know how we'd cope without them now.

Reply from Diane Elebert-Morgan, Managing Director at Bridgewater Home Care (Bolton)

Bridgewater Homecare has changed my dad's life and hugely eased the challenges I face as his carer. Their approach from the start has been person-centred and empathic. My dad lives independently with Alzheimer's; he needs help with admin and communicating and often just needs a bit of company. Alex and Christine at Bridgewater have matched him with the most wonderful companions, who have got to know my dad and taken the time and care to understand and respond to his needs. I find communication with Christine and Alex easy, efficient and professional. They are also very friendly and approachable. I can't thank them enough for the service they continue to provide to my dad; I think both me and my dad would be struggling without them. I would highly recommend this company if you have a loved one who needs a little extra help.

I have been so impressed with Gemma and the team who have looked after my mum since the end of 2025 and they have blown me away with their caring and professionalism. Recently mum was admitted to hospital with a nosebleed and I was told by the ambulance service when I arrived at the hospital that her flat had blood everywhere. I had to be with mum for the day and the thought of returning home to a mess was daunting. I spent ke to Gemma and she arranged a clear up the afternoon and sorted her revised medication for the next morning. When I left mum that night I knew she would be looked after the next morning. What I didn't expect was the over and above willingness of Gemma to return to in the afternoon see how she was and take her flowers and sort her washing out of the dryer. Thank you so much for the peace of kindness you give to relatives and I am so pleased I found you.

I took time and contacted several home care people to support my husband with dementia. I decided on Bridgewater Home Care. They sounded very professional but had a kindly friendly feeling about them. He loves going out, still has a sense of humour. One morning is a visit to the zoo with his companion where I do my volunteering shift, he is always happy at the zoo. Also another morning he is either supported to visit either an antique centre, the forest for a walk or the local arts centre, always having tea and cake. He loves being out. In conclusion I know I made the right decision. Bridgewater Care people are perfect. Always reliable, kind, thoughtful and most of all think the world of my husband. They have become not only companions for my husband but good friends to both of us which is just what I need. Thank you Bridgewater Home Care.

My mum is 90 years old and deteriorated between Christmas & New YEar. My brothers, a family friend & I cared for Mum also staying over. We were extremely stressed doing care for my mum, who became very frail. Bridgewater commenced 12.1.26 and the relief for us is massive. The care is excellent she has the same carers who go the extra mile. One volunteered on her day off to get Mum ready for an emergency appointment.

We began using Bridgewater Home care after mum had a fall & needed extra help morning & evening. From the start the carers were pleasant, respectful & considerate of mum's wishes. They are a very helpful and caring company .

As an ex-head teacher although capable of great charm my Dad could be quite exacting, so we were not quite sure how the new care arrangement would go. We need not have worried. As the ensuing weeks past we were relieved to find that Dad eulogised about how kind, thoughtful and helpful all the ladies that visited were. They were happy to turn their hand to most things around the house, preparing meals, shopping and attending to his every need. One kind lady even did an expert job of darning his favourite cardigan! Most importantly, they had time for conversation, getting to know him and his interests, having a laugh and a joke.

Unfortunately Dad passed away just after his 90th birthday. We just want to thank Alex and his team for helping to making his last months richer and happier and more comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend Bridgewater Home Care as providers of a very high quality service.

We contacted Bridgewater Home Care when mum came out of hospital last summer. She needed to recover fully from illness and as all our family live a distance from mum, we needed to know she would be supported throughout the day.
At first mum was reluctant to have support, she had always been so independent but very soon she looked forward to the visits and now they form a important structure to her day and she very much enjoys her interactions with the team.
Mum has been supported with care and dignity - in her own words she is, 'supported like a queen' and talks to us about 'her helpers' with great affection.
To know that support is a phone call away has been invaluable and I feel I am able to contact the office if I am worried about mum - from illness concerns to not being able to contact her when she's switched her phone off by accident.

Mum wouldn't have been able to stay in her own home as a frail 91 yr old without the support she now receives from the Bridgewater team.

Brilliant customer service from all the team. When Mum fell and we needed to look for home care Bridgewater Care Bolton reacted quickly, came to assess her needs and formed a care plan within 48 hours. Nothing is too much trouble, they adapt to our changes in circumstance immediatel, and are happy to discuss best care plan for Mum. The carers are wonderful and complete all tasks as per plan. I particularly like the on line reports which are submitted after each visit so we can view. Mum likes to know in advance which carers are coming and again this can be viewed on line.

Would highly recommend if you are looking for home care for your loved ones.
