My mum has been back home for only a couple of weeks but is happy to be home and being cared for by Guardian Angels carers. She says that they are all nice, and some are lovely!
We used them for several months previously and I have found the office in Worthing to be great to deal with. They are reliable
and easy to get hold of, and really helpful with practical suggestions and feedback to make my mum, (who is 105 years old) able to live at home safely and as independently as possible.
They are happy to organise shopping, medical intervention if needed, in fact anything to help. I live a long way away and I am very pleased to have the agency keeping a close eye on all aspects of mums health and wellbeing.
I am able to follow the carers visits and read any notes, in real time, using the web portal that they offer clients relatives. I value this service as it helps me keep a watch out for how mum is getting on,its very reassuring.
Reply from Kayleigh Gilbert, Branch Manager at Guardian Angel Carers - WorthingThank you so much for your kind words, we are delighted to hear your mum is happy to be back home and feeling well supported by our team. It's wonderful to know that both our carers and the Worthing office have provided the reliability and reassurance you need, especially with you living further away. We're pleased the family portal helps you stay closely connected to your mum's care and wellbeing. It's a privilege to support her, and we truly appreciate the trust you place in us

Could not ask for a better care service, so easy to talk to management. If you're looking for visiting care for a relative I cannot recommend Guardian Angels enough the carers are brilliant, always helpful, always ask if there's anything they can help with, my mum loves all of her carers if she could
she would have them 24/7. Again if you're looking for care please use Guardian Angels.
Reply from Amal Bhurrut, Manager at Guardian Angel Carers - Mid SussexThank you so much Sarah for leaving us such a wonderful review. It's been amazing that we've been able to support your mum.

From the first visit, 6 months ago, to now, we have had a succession of wonderful carers coming into the house. My husband has Alzheimer's Disease and we needed help in the mornings getting him up, showered and dressed. Additionally he needed some stimulating companionship. His initial reaction to the
idea was a resounding "No", but every morning he looks forward to whoever is coming, and I hear stimulating conversation and joyous laughter coming out of the bathroom, over breakfast and for a social hour afterwards. Meanwhile I am able to get on with chores or to pop out to the shops, which has taken a lot of pressure off me. The support of the team in the office is immediate and positive, there is always someone available. I had delayed seeking this help as I thought I should be able to do it all; little did I realise what a fantastic benefit it would be to both of us. I looked no further than Guardian Angels, I'm so glad I found them.

We have been absolutely delighted with Guardian Angels, from the caring nature of the Angels to the Management Team.
Everybody has been so warm and lovely and I have nothing but positive things to say and would highly recommend them.
Communication has been great and any queries dealt with promptly.
On occasions when I have had to book additional short notice care or tweak the timing of a visit, they have gone above and beyond to try and assist.
The rapport that they have built with my Father in Law is wonderful and he looks forward to seeing them each visit. It is really nice that he gets to have the same people frequently aswell.

I have a Neurological condition, Epilepsy, since I was young, and also in the last years suffered a Mental Health condition - seeing Guardian Angels has been exceptional - they understand the difference; and not ONCE have I suffered from Neurodiversity; which after these last years is exceptional
I
have two ladies I see - and not once have I felt judged... Exceptionally I have felt very reassured that they know what to do; and would not be put in a difficult position; this is an outstanding feeling to have after all of these years
We tend to splash out and have coffee and cake, and then we end up laughing like crazy
The thing that has been outstanding is that I am far more happy and relaxed - and this has exactly the same effect on my family as well...
Guardian Angels making the bPatient so happy makes the family the same

We're delighted that the time you spend with your carers is filled with laughter and enjoyment - those moments really matter. Thank you for trusting Guardian Angel Carers to support you. It has been a pleasure to be part of your journey.

Guardian Angel Carers Mid Sussex really have been my guardian angels over the last 11 months, taking the very best care of me and my pets as I slowly recovered from surgery. They have always been kind and professional and nothing has been too much for them. I will miss them greatly as I move out of
the area and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone needing that extra bit of support.

They are responsive to changes in need and timetable at a moment's notice and are consistently punctual.

I can't praise Guardian Angel Carers highly enough. Over the last 4 years they have provided an excellent level of care to both of my parents and then just to my mum, following my dad passing away. The quality of care provided, has enabled mum to remain at home for longer and provided her with comfort
and kindness when she needed it most. Their responsiveness and flexibility has given us peace of mind, as we know they are just a call away if additional help was needed. The office team is easily accessible and always helpful and supportive, whether it be re-arranging care schedules or providing extra help at short-notice. Guardian Angels has gone above and beyond in supporting mum and dad and I can't thank them enough.

My dealing with Guardian Angel Carers has been excellent throughout. I contacted them at the end of June when my father suffered a mini stroke. GAC made visits to assess him whilst he was in hospital and were able to supply a exemplary live in carer for him the same week which allowed him to return
home. The carer was wonderful giving outstanding support to both my father and the entire family and when the time came she reassured us that he would manage with daily visits rather than a live in carer.
The daily carers have been great too, spending time talking to dad and helping him in anyway thay he needed.
As my father continued to make progress I found amending and adapting his care package to be very simple with everyone that I had dealing with at GAC being kind, understanding and hugely supportive.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is ever anything further we can do to support you and your father in the future.

All the care givers who attend my mother in law are exceptional. They have been wonderful; completing their care for her with kindness and compassion. The carers always go over and above their tasks and sometimes spot areas in her life that can be improved. They are fully trained and engaged with
encouraging a 96 year old to be as independent as possible whilst always looking out for her safety

As the Carer for my wife it is OK for me to leave her on her own for spells of one or two hours, but anything longer is too much, as she is constantly anxious and worried. But I needed to get a break and have an afternoon off once per week -it's been 5 years and very tough for me as she is very demanding,
constantly complains about everything and is very stubborn, never wanting to do anything I ask (and showing little gratitude). So Guardian Angels have arranged for the same Carer to visit for 4 hours every Tuesday afternoon. My hope is that the Carer will be able to win her confidence and then be able to get her to do some occupational therapy, some necessary exercises, some walking outside and accept some personal care support. She is capable of all of this she, but refuses from me.
The Carer fully understands the requirements and is coping well with these difficult objectives.
Reply from Kirstie Brown, Registered Care Manager at Guardian Angel Carers - ChichesterThank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful and honest feedback. We truly appreciate your openness in highlighting the challenges you face as your wife's primary carer and your hopes for the support we are providing. We understand how emotionally and physically demanding it can be to care for a loved one, particularly over an extended period. I'm pleased to hear that having a regular carer in place is offering you some much needed respite, and we are committed to continuing this consistency to support both you and your wife.

I needed to arrange in-home care for my mother after my father had passed. It was a difficult time for the family, and exploring the various options was quite daunting. We wanted to make sure my mother had the best care and support for her at home. I spoke with the lady from Guardian Angels, when she
called me over the weekend and we chatted for some time, which was incredibly reassuring and comforting.
She came out to see my mother early the next week and assess my mother's needs carefully and considerately.
We arranged carers three times a day for my mother, to ensure she was supported to shower, take her medication and eating well, when the family couldn't be there to support her.
All the carers were kind, supportive and did a brilliant job.
I can't thank them and Guardian Angels enough for their support and guidance through a traumatic time for my mother and the family.
Reply from Kayleigh Gilbert, Branch Manager at Guardian Angel Carers - WorthingThank you very much for your kind words, they truly mean a great deal to us. It was both a privilege and an honour to care for your mum during such a profoundly difficult time. I will be sure to pass on your message to our supervisor and our lovely carers who came to support Mum and played an important role in the care provided. Please know that our thoughts remain with Mum, you and your loved ones.
