Good Oaks Care Team provided dual support for my Farther and his partner on a daily basis assisting with getting ready for the day ahead, then an evening visit to cook a hot meal plus dispensing medicine. The care and support provided by the whole team enabled them to stay at home was very much appreciated
by all. When my father had an accident at home they went over and above, staying until the ambulance arrived and ensuring all were safe and cared for, keeping contact with the family and looking after them both really well. We are pleased with the overall warm caring support provided to our family.

GoodOaks provided care to my dad for 4 years. Overall I was very pleased with their service, trying to have regular carers so dad wasn't dealing with strangers. Everyone of the carers I met were kind and professional. I cannot give 5 stars as problems seemed to occur as dad deteriorated, mainly regarding
communication. However, once addressed I cannot fault the response and flexibility GoodOaks demonstrated to correct everything.

Good Oaks has looked after my father (and my mother up to 2022) for nearly five years. It provides both day and night carers. The standard of care is second to none. This high standard is produced and maintained by excellent selection, training, and supervision of care staff and procedures. Good Oaks
responds swiftly and effectively in order to ensure a good fit between client/service user and carer. The result is care which not only keeps my father safe, well, and healthy but, through the kindness, patience, and dedication of their carers keeps him happy. The service recognises when a complex condition changes, as it will. Good Oaks provides very necessary support when a situation is becoming really challenging. Carers are unsung heroes and the Good Oaks carers looking after my father have a clear vocation for their profession. Their ability, attitude, dedication, and kindness, together with a really excellent management means that my father remains healthy and happy in his own home.

At 93 years of age and disabled by spinal stenosis, I am increasingly liable to falls and need the support of a rollator to get around. I was familiar with 'GoodOaks' as you provided excellent home care to another resident here. I needed your assistance for showering etc following a severe bout of flu
earlier this month. This proved to be very satisfactory and I have now become stronger and more independent. As I am bound to go downhill from now on I am bound to need your assistance again sometime in the future and hope that you well keep me and my records in your database.

We have absolute faith in this company in all areas. My husband who, receives the care has no complaint, but only praise for his caregivers. He is treated with sensitivity and warmth at all points. We look forward to our visits from intelligent, polite professionals. We used another care company previously
and can see a huge difference between "ok" and "excellent". If issues arise they are dealt with quickly and professionally. Messages left outside office hours will be responded to quickly.

Goodoaks have been consistent, efficient and very caring in the provision of reliable and consistent home care provided. Toni and Anna are lovely and go beyond to provide thoughtful and sensitive care allowing peace of mind for the family whilst instilling dignity and respect is maintained for the care
for. I highly recommend them - they are a great team and worth every penny.

I have found the carers at Good Oaks to be considerate, thoughtful, encouraging and very diligent in seeing to my relatives needs throughout the years that she was cared for by the team. Whenever we (family members) had a request they would do their best to accommodate this. As our relative began to
require greater support over time, the management team suggested approaches to dealing with specific situations indicating that our relative would benefit greatly from increased care time, and we could see the benefit of this within a couple of weeks.
When our relative became distressed the carers would follow proper procedures and stay with our relative until a solution was found.
We would highly recommend Good Oaks as great care providers.

During October 2025, my mum has been looked after by both her primary and secondary carer, which affects the overall score. Both carers treat my mum with respect and dignity but if this review was just for the primary carer, there would be a lot more 'excellent' boxes crossed. The primary carer is more
proactive about my mum's care, anxiety and needs and will sort out many issues by herself. The secondary carer is younger and doesn't have so much experience; she seems nervous about taking responsibility and there have been a few situations where we have had to contact the office. She doesn't inform us of issues saying that, she is sweet with my mum and better than carers from other companies we've used.

We have been using the GoodOaks home care service for well over a year & have always found it to be very satisfactory. We use it for regular weekly visits, ad-hoc visits and a recent one off 'live-in-care' period of one week. Booking is easy to do & we are (nearly) always told who is coming. The carers
appear to have been well trained and are always cheerful, polite, understanding & helpful (occasionally a carer may turn up later than expected but this is usually due to traffic issues). We happily recommend GoodOaks 100%.

My brother had a stroke over a year ago and GoodOaks have been fantastic. It has allowed him to stay in the comfort of his own home. All the carers are so kind and caring, professional and go above and beyond in their daily work. GoodOaks whole team give one hundred percent from their individual care
