I live overseas when I was back in the uk visiting my 84 year old father, I had a very short time limit to find him the Care that he needed, I had look at a couple of care providers and I found Goodoaks care extremely helpful they managed to. Find my father the right Care he needed in a short space of time and I got to help choose the right carer how will be caring for my him, which put my mind at ease when I returned home . Lisa now is the registered manager was amazing extremely helpful throughout this experience. And alwasy put my father at ease Ever when she visited us she is always at the end of the phone when my father or I need her. I am a care support worker myself and have been for over 30 years I know how important it is to put your loved ones into great care and would highly recommend Goodoaks care

My neighbour who became a friend died at home in April this year. She had received extremely flexible and supportive care from Good Oaks since September 2025. Her husband had been in hospital since early July 2025 and was discharged into a local nursing and care home in September 2025. She had come to know the manager and care workers at Good Oaks very well as they had provided outstanding care for her husband since the previous November 2024. She felt very relaxed to spell out her personal care needs and accept support at a time when she was feeling very unsettled by her husband's absence and declining health. During the time she received care from Good Oaks, her needs and wishes varied and she was always treated with respect and her requirements were accommodated. She felt their friendship and care which helped a great deal during a difficult time.

I have just started using Goodoaks and I have been extremely impressed by all managers and carers they are all lovely they do everything possible to help and put my mum at ease and pay attention to her needs. They speak to her and ensure she is handled with empathy, kindness, understanding and complete professionalism. I have a really good gut feeling that my mum is is good hands and I am not worrying whilst going to work which when you have done in past experiences you appreciate tremendously. The managers and carers are honest and communicate and resolve problems effectively, I understand why they come so highly recommended.

They have a real understanding of people's needs and requirements and are constantly checking to make sure all is well.

Carers come on time and leave on time and if I do not need them they are cancelled without any fuss

We began using Good Oaks more than three years ago to care for my Grandma, who passed away in early May 2026, just a few weeks after her 100th birthday. It started out as a little additional support for her as she was living independently, but following an extended stay in hospital in 2023, we escalated to full-time, live in care for the last three years of her life. Led capably by Beatrice, excellent home care was given through this time, and Grandma was always treated with the highest respect and dignity, even at the very end as her health deteriorated and she found it harder to interact. I'd recommend Good Oaks without hesitation, and am so grateful we were able to rely on them through this challenging time. They helped us support and love Grandma to the very end, always going the extra mile to enable her to be part of family occasions and celebrations. Thank you so much.
