Overall Experience

We were very impressed with the level of care my mum received from GoodOaks Homecare. The staff are friendly and caring, and are always ready to help with personal care, food and medicine. The organisation is very effective, with regular reviews with other family members. Having reviewed a number of other companies, we would strongly recommend GoodOaks to anyone needing care at home.

I chose GoodOaks due to the positive reviews I had read. I required assistance for myself and my disabled wife after my hip replacement surgery. The whole process from initial contact to care plan set up and care provided was exemplary. Every carer that visited could not have been more professional, helpful and friendly. It has certainly aided my recovery. I highly recommend GoodOaks and would certainly aided my recovery. I highly recommend GoodOaks and would certainly request care, if needed in the future. A big thank you to all.

My neighbour receives dementia care from GoodOaks Homecare Bedford and I have been genuinely impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the carers.
Supporting somebody living with dementia requires patience, understanding and consistency, and all the carers demonstrate all of those qualities every day. The difference in my neighbours confidence and mood since receiving support has been remarkable.

We recently used GoodOaks Homecare Bedford for respite care for my dad after he came out of hospital. From the very first enquiry, the team were responsive, reassuring and professional.
The carers were punctual, friendly and treated Dad with dignity and respect at all times. It gave our family peace of mind knowing he was safe and supported while we took a short break to recharge ourselves.

Excellent respite care service in Bedford and we would absolutely use them again in the future.

The carers help Nan with personal care in a very respectful and dignified way, which was really important to us as a family. The management team are proactive and take the time to truly listen to Nan's needs.
What has made the biggest difference is that the visits are not just task-focused. The carers take time to build a relationship with Nan and regularly support her to get out and about, whether that's a trip to the garden centre, a visit to a café, or simply spending time somewhere she enjoys.

These days out have really improved Nan's confidence, mood and independence. We are very grateful for the kindness, patience and professionalism shown by the GoodOaks team, and I would highly recommend them for visiting care in Bedford.

We arranged visiting care with GoodOaks Homecare Bedford for my dad, and it has been a very positive experience. Dad wanted to stay in his own home but needed regular support with day-to-day tasks, meals, medication prompts, and general wellbeing checks.
The carers are reliable, friendly, and treat him with real dignity and respect. They do not just complete the care tasks and leave - they take time to talk to him, check how he is feeling, and make sure he is comfortable before they go.

The visits have helped Dad remain independent at home and have given our family much-needed reassurance. I would happily recommend GoodOaks to anyone looking for professional visiting care in Bedford.

We arranged visiting care with GoodOaks Homecare Bedford for my mum, and the service has been excellent from day one. Mum doesn't need full-time support, but the regular visits for help with personal care, meals, and medication have made a huge difference to her independence.
The carers are always punctual, professional, and genuinely kind. What we really value is that visits are never rushed - they take the time to chat with Mum and provide real companionship as well as practical support.
The office team are also very organised and keep us well informed, which gives us great peace of mind as a family.

I would highly recommend GoodOaks to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality visiting care in Bedford.

My mum receives live-in care from GoodOaks Homecare Bedford and we genuinely could not ask for better support. Mum is living with dementia and wanted to remain in her own home rather than move into residential care. The carers have been patient, compassionate and incredibly professional throughout.

What stands out most is the companionship they provide alongside the care itself. Mum has really built trust with her carers and her anxiety has reduced so much since the care package started. Communication from the office team is excellent and we always feel informed and supported.

I would highly recommend GoodOaks to anyone looking for dementia care or live-in care in Bedford.

We've been having care from Goodoaks since the start of this year and I have been delighted with the care provided. The carers are lovely people and each carer brings something different to the service but this is a bonus as their different personalities brighten our start to the day. They are very attentive to detail and let me know if they've noticed anything different in my husband's condition. It's a relief to know that they will look after him properly in a way that I can't, being elderly myself.
The management too are excellent - very quick to respond to any calls or texts. The one occasion when I had a problem they dealt with the matter immediately and completely to my satisfaction.

I highly recommend this company.

Very caring company nothing is too much trouble they are always ready to help. The management are always on call to sort out any problems + they are all approachable + easy to reach at their office. The carers are well trained + are always cheerful + are always helpful to both client + family. Good time keeping + if any delays the office will ring to let client or family know.
