My mother has 2 live-in carers who started in January 2026, enabling her to return home after a spell of respite care in a care home. My mother had used Good Oaks Homecare carers previously for evening care in her home. Good Oaks Homecare put forward 4 potential candidates to my mother for consideration
and 2 were interviewed via " social media contacts ". They are both very kind and caring, considerate , and aim to please my mother. Intelligent, and willing to learn about houseplants, cooking ( how my mother likes her fresh food including vegetables) and the cleaning tasks required, for example.
Good Oaks Homecare ensure a smooth changeover between carers with the manager bringing one to my mother's home and collecting the other one at an agreed time.
The manager has always responded promptly to any emails regarding concerns, and spoken to the carer(s) if necessary to rectify any issues raised. Patience and understanding regarding my mother's waking frequency during the night is incredible.

I am writing this review on the behalf of my wife Ann, who is the recipient of the care provided by GoodOaks, for over 2 years. The staff are generally polite and very capable of carring out the care requirements needed to keep Ann clean, safe and happy. They go to great levels to keep to rota times,
sometimes in difficult weather. Generally we are well satisfied with the service they provide.

This was our first experience of having Carers in our home. We are very pleased with the level of care and support Good Oaks have provided for us.

A friendly, professional and flexible care company. Mum gets on well with the carers and Goodoaks try to ensure she gets continuity with the carers she sees. Goodoaks are also good at contacting me with any issues and concerns around mums physical and mental health.

We chose GoodOaks to help us look after look after Mum who has dementia, and a big factor in this was their commitment to provide the same Carer (except for holidays), which is important to us and Mum as she's really not good with change. Having consistency will also help build friendship and trust
between Mum's and her Carer - a big plus!
Initially, they took time to understand Mum's needs and selected a Carer based on them. We're in week 3, so it's still early days, but the first few visits have been good and the feedback has included good suggestions.
All in all we're very happy and firmly believe the Care and support being provided will help Mum hughly.

Good oaks were efficient and understanding of my dad's needs and quick to find us a suitable carer. Dad was able to stay at home for several months with a live in carer which was what he wished for. The carer was very warm and kind, there were some areas of difficulty but overall it worked well

Goodoaks Homecare have catered for my aunts needs very well since hiring them recently. Initiated with a meeting of the client /assessment and quickly adapting to her needs tailoring those needs 3 times within a month. My Aunt has not been the easiest person to get on with for the caring staff but
thankfully they seem well trained and experienced to deal with such difficult people. The manager is very good it has be said. She stops at nothing to get things done correctly. A very easy and approachable person with a passion for pleasing the clients and getting the care package efficiently operating. Often hands on herself with the carers to check things are upto the needs of clients. Impressive management. I have no qualms about continuing this excellent service for now.

This is the second attempt to submit a review, we have only used the GOOD OAKS for about two weeks in the busy morning. With one reporting hic cup we were not aware of to our daughter. We are quite happy
happy with the service and consider it good value for money.

Our father was sadly widowed in June this year .We chose GoodOaks to help us support Dad with his Dementia in order to keep him at home, where he wanted to be. The team have been excellent. They carefully listened to Dads complex needs and have delivered quality care for the last two months. They are
professional ,caring and friendly .They are excellent providing feedback on visits and adaptable on Dads most difficult days! Would happily recommend this team.

I am a 90 year old widower needing personal not nursing care. I live at home and pay much less than a nursing home would charge.
Carers call 4 times a day to wash & dress me, cook and clean me. Once a week a carer shops for food and household needs. They manage my medication.
Such care requires people
who are both qualified and have a good personality to meet my needs. Goodoaks provide such people in a difficult market.

My father received regular visits from Goodoaks for well over two years. Initially the main task was to help Dad get out for a walk several days a week. Chance meetings with friends whilst out on the golf course would make his day. If the weather wasn't good a trip to the local shops to do some shopping
was appreciated.
When dad became less able and needed personal care Goodoaks was quick to respond and provide the attention required.
Throughout Goodoaks provided a friendly, professional, flexible and reliable service with a trusted team of carers that dad grew very fond of.


I can thoroughly recommend this service for all of the above and for giving me and my sister peace of mind that dad was in really good hands. Thank you

GoodOaks homecare provides great care to my Mum and Dad who live independently with Parkinson's and dementia. All the staff are so friendly and kind, nothing is too much trouble. Mum and Dad are happy and look forward to their visits. Thank you to all of the team

My sister has been more comfortable and happier since GoodOaks took over her care. She is full of praise for the carers, and really appreciates its member of the same team. She finds them professional and caring. This has then made it less stressful for her family/me knowing great care is being administered.

My mother in law has received exceptional care and support from Goodoaks. The team have been attentive and patient with her, enabling her to stay home longer than she would have otherwise. The staff are caring and engaged and have advocated for the best for my mother in law. They have been able to support
her and uphold a high standard of care and attention. We are very grateful for all they've done.
