Over all I'm very happy with the care my mother is getting. The. Carer's treat her like their own mum. This gives me the confidence that my mum is been looked after well. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Overall Experience
What a struggle trying to get my father out of hospital and sort out care for him at home. From the outset GoodOaks have been outstanding, from the first phone call to arrange to meet us all to the care package now in place, everyone has been professional, timely and above all kind.

We would highly recommend them as care providers.

Overall Experience
We needed additional help with my mum after she developed delirium from a period in hospital.
Gayle and Frances were incredibly helpful and reassuring when we did a full needs assessment, and the care package was organised really quickly which helped the situation.

Mum had three main carers each week - twice a day every day. The whole team were fantastic. They anticipated mum's needs and the app giving daily feedback on how mum was each visit was also reassuring for me. Mum really took to all the team, and they were all so helpful - just adjusting her needs depending on how she was each day, whilst always ensuring the basics were covered with medication and personal needs. Thank you so much to the whole team. Would definitely recommend / use again.

Overall Experience

It's made a big difference having GoodOaks support my husband's aunt. She has dementia and lives on her own, so it was really important for us to find a team we could trust. The carers are kind and patient, and the care manager has been brilliant. They always seem willing to go the extra mile and have been very accommodating whenever we've asked for anything, even when it's been quite specific. I really like the app as well - it keeps us updated after every visit, which makes a big difference. It's reassuring to know what's going on day to day. They've been very respectful with more sensitive requests, too, which we didn't always find with other providers. All in all, it's taken a lot of stress off us and given us proper peace of mind.

Overall Experience
We've been really happy with the care GoodOaks have provided for my aunt, who lives alone with dementia.
From the start, the team have been very understanding and easy to deal with. The care manager and carers have honestly gone out of their way to help us. We've had a few specific requests and they've always tried their best to accommodate everything without any fuss, which we really appreciate.
One thing that's been really helpful is the app - we get updates after each visit so we can see how she's doing and what's been done. It gives us a lot of reassurance, especially when we can't be there ourselves.
They've also handled some more sensitive situations really well, with a lot of respect and patience.

Overall, it's given us real peace of mind knowing she's being looked after properly.

I have had Good Oaks looking after my
Mum twice daily since January
Their service has been excellent with attentive and caring staff who are happily meeting the needs of my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's

I am delighted with the service from Gayle and the team at Good Oaks and would highly recommend them

Overall Experience
The Care Manager at Glasgow South Good Oaks, has been consistently generous with her time, advice and help since the first contact of enquiry. This was so supportive at a challenging time of hospital to home transition for my father.
Since becoming a service user, this level of availability, care and responsiveness has continued.
The carers who have attended have been friendly and professional and worked to create a connection with him. The team manager responded professionally and sensitively to matching a compatible carer. Recently, the carer involved picked up quickly when he was unwell and promptly informed us, handled the interface with the medical professionals involved, and kept in close touch with us.

Overall, I can only emphasise how supportive this team has been in helping and supporting us all during a difficult time.

i get care for 90 minutes two days per week. a different carer comes on each day. they are very good and meet my needs. Goodoaks are also very accomodating e.g when i required a change of how long the carer is here.

The choice of GOOD OAKS as the care provider for my husband, who suffers from vascular dementia ,has been the best decision I have made in a long time.
Shortly before becoming a client I had a very disappointing experience with another local company and was therefore very apprehensive about my next step. I needn't have worried.
Following my initial contact with both the manager and the owner more than 4 months ago , Good Oaks have exceeded my expectations.
.Because of my husband's ongoing physical health problems , including recent surgery there have been times that I have had to ask for extra visits or last minute time changes etc.. .
Each and every time my "cry for help " has been met with the same response. "DON'T WORRY WE WILL SORT THINGS OUT!"
They have at all times been totally reliable , professional and seem genuinely happy to be helping us . I cannot praise them enough.

Overall Experience
Very good initial experience with the GoodOaks team based in Thornliebank, providing care for my mum with daily visits to make sure she's taking her medication, eating properly, taking her shopping, providing companionship etc.
The ladies who come to visit my mum are all excellent and mum has quickly grown to trust them and looks forward to seeing them. They really seem to care and that's very important to our family.
A very good start to what could be a long term relationship.

I would also add the App me and my siblings have access to is excellent at keeping us up to date with all activities they carry out for mum.

Overall a fabulous experience. From first meeting Gayle and her team we were met with warmth and compassion. The visits being updated to the portal gives me peace of mind that my parents are in the best hands. The package of care offered gives me knowledge that their on going care can be catered for at every stage.

Overall Experience
GoodOaks have been attending to my mother for a few weeks now and I have been delighted with the service they have provided to her.
All the team are friendly, caring and attentive towards her and she looks forward to their visits. They are also extremely reliable which is vital when dealing with an older person who needs that consistency.
As importantly, they have listened to me as to my mum's needs so I know she is in the best of hands, which is a massive weight of my shoulders.

Gayle and her staff look after my father with friendly care and provide me, as his daughter, with peace of mind that he has other visitors during the week.
They listen to his needs and sensitively attend to these and this is always carried out with a friendly face and great respect.
Nothing is too much for Gayle and her staff and they are all happy to adapt and adjust to my father's changing needs.
