Overall Experience
We had a very positive experience with GoodOaks while they supported my mother-in-law. The team was consistently responsive to messages and quick to adapt whenever her care needs changed, which made a big difference during a time that required flexibility.
The caregivers were not only professional, but also genuinely kind and friendly, helping to create a comfortable and supportive environment.

We would not hesitate to recommend their services to others looking for reliable and high-quality home care.

Overall Experience

Excellent provision of all domestic and health needs at any given time always there for my Mother and Father . Always contactable and able to provide help and advice on any number of care and health matters for the elderly . One staff member in particular must be especially commended , but all the girls were fabulous .

Overall Experience
The carers were all very lovely and good oaks were very good at keeping us to the same 3 carers. They were very sensitive to my mums needs, providing me 3 hours of respite.
The two reasons i have given this a lower score are:
1/ that they changed my session time by an hour on one occassion without any communication.
2/ that one of the carers consistently turned up more than 20 minutes late and yet still left at the normal time, so my sessions were cut short.

Otherwise i thought they were a lovely company to deal with and very professional.

Overall Experience

I felt the domestic team needed more support in cleaning houses. They were all very friendly and cleaned well, but one hadn't used a steam mop before and used a pack of floor wipes before eventually using the mop! The 2nd made beds but didn't know that pillow protectors went on before the pillow slips and was sloppy in her cleaning. I asked her to wipe the worktops down, with bleach. Everything was on hand for her to wipe as I asked, the cupboard doors and drawer fronts. I let her go early, as she was clearly not capable. Overall the two others were outstanding. Very good at what they did.

Overall Experience

Being miles away we rely on Good Oaks to make sure our mum is safe and well, which they do admirably. Mum is staunchly independent but (though in denial!) needs looking after to keep that independence. She can be a hard nut to crack but the Good Oaks team has stuck with her and she now looks forward to their visits each day and enjoys their company. The team is super reliable and supports Mum's needs really well taking the time to chat with her about her day as well as performing the 'looking after' tasks efficiently and professionally.

Overall Experience
A lady came for four Thursdays running, to sit with my husband so I could get about and do things. She was delightful lady. The visits were from 2 until 5.

My husband is in later stages of dementia, and I am looking for further help, maybe, paid for by me, but at an earlier time, as nights are dark now for me to get out between 2 and 5.

I found the person who came every two weeks for four hours very efficient, kind and personable. She was a great relief because everything was very stressful and she just came in and got on with what needed to be done.

Overall Experience
This was a huge help to myself, as well as my step-father, he enjoyed the company of two staff member in particular, lovely ladies.

The only criticism was the timing. It was arranged for 12-3pm but wasn't kept to, occasionally much earlier. Overall very happy with the service.

Overall Experience

The management were very helpful. One member of staff, especially, was very hands on. One of the carers, was particularly very friendly and attentive and careful with my fragile mother. A basic cooking course would have helped with food ideas.

The girls were absolutely great with my husband except for a few blips of not turning up or turning up not requested, we found everything else, care etc very good and have no complaints.

My mother has support from GoodOaks with live in care. The staff are exceptional at supporting her and we feel reassured that she is receiving the best care and treatment from them. The manager also pops out regularly to support the staff and ensure my mum is happy with everything and being treated well. I couldn't ask for a better company.

Overall Experience

The care assistant arrived in good time which saved me flapping about before leaving and I also could show her around the house and explain a few things. My husband was happy to be left with the care assistant. On my return I noticed that he had been given his lunch and drinks. They had been out for a walk; she had helped him with his word searches and had started a new jigsaw with him. She was pleasant and friendly, there were no issues.

Every person I have met and spoken to has been polite and respectful.
They have enabled me to have some free time to myself which I am very grateful for.
I felt reassured that my husband was in good care.

It has been crucial for me to have time away for my mental well-being to have a break from an exhausting routine.

Overall Experience

The service rendered by this care company has been pleasant and exceptional. The manager, and the carer assigned to support me daily had been very helpful and friendly. They treat me as though I am one of their family members and that means a lot as I don't have any of my immediate family members around me, except for my little boy. Thank you for your continuous support. It is very much appreciated.
