Walfinch Southampton have been absolutely brilliant in looking after my father who needed full time care. The level of care and professionalism has exceeded my expectations not only in looking after my father's physical wellbeing but also his personal welfare offering compassionate interactions and friendly support. This has enabled him to live in his own home and familiar surroundings with a much higher quality of life than he would have otherwise experienced. Not just looking after him at home but taking him out to his social meetings and everyday things like shopping trips etc. I certainly wouldn't have imagined that he would have been so settled in his everyday life at the beginning of his care at home and thank Walfinch Southampton for what can only be described as outstanding service.

My carer is almost always punctual which for me is very important. She is very much aware of my 'care plan' which she executes very well. Occasionally I find that she strides to be very ridge, perhaps too ridge. She is always respectful and polite. We are able to chat to one another in quite a relaxed manner,(again very important to me) despite age differences. With a few of the problems I have, she has been able to make very sensible, insightful suggestions. She has become a very positive part of my life enabling me to live in my own home.

My wife received just over Five weeks of care from Walfinch Southampton which was at its commencement thought to be long term but in the event she took a downward turn and passed away in early September, During that time the carers gave her exemplary care in sometimes difficult circumstances as she appeared to be in a lot of pain and often attempted to fight them off. I would like to express my gratitude to all those that attended to her for their professionalism and compassion. Those that looked after so well were Angela the Manager, Shannon, Nyara, Rose, Selina ,Charmaine, Saffron and Debbie. I was particularly pleased to see members of the team at the funeral and the wake. Their presence was very much appreciated .

I needed full-time care after a fall. Walfinch have been the perfect answer. The preliminary assessment was friendly and thorough. The carer assigned to me fulfilled all my needs. She was always available to help when I needed her leaving me to do as much as I could manage on my own. Remaining at home with this full-time carer was wonderful. Thank you!

So to summarise my review if you are looking for thoughtful and compassionate care of a loved one I can wholly recommend talking to this team.

The company were very flexible and though my Uncle's care has now ended, we wouldn't hesitate to use Walfinch again, if needed.

It's very much a two-way relationship, and we are able to have two-way discussions which has enabled the care package to evolve and gives me confidence that we have invested wisely in this partnership and this will be even more important as things develop.

I would recommend Walfinch to anyone looking for a professional caring cost-effective company to look after a loved one. My husband was very ill and bed-bound. The care that Walfinch provided was first-class. They arrived spot on time always with a smile and a can-do attitude, I have the highest regard for the management and the staff. If you choose Walfinch to provide the care your loved one deserves it will be the best decision you ever make they are a customer-focused company. I cannot speak highly enough of Walfinch. I needed one-off care for my nan to attend my wedding following a stay in hospital as she needed some extra care/help. After speaking to numerous care agencies none seemed interested in helping as it was too much effort for one day.

Walfinch however spent time and resources to come out and meet my nan and ensure her needs were met. The carer on the day was excellent, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Five stars aren’t enough to say how brilliant and caring they have been in looking after dad. From the very beginning, the service of care has been absolutely second to none. Not only did the Manager make sure her team were ready to care for him at such short notice, but the reassurance that he’d be looked after so well was extremely comforting. I cannot thank the team at Walfinch enough. Amazing. They went the extra mile with him. He appreciated so much.

The carer who comes is very polite and very nice. She is always happy and chatty and supports me to do my care and household tasks.

Knowing that someone was coming to see me every day whilst my daughter was on holiday made me feel relaxed and confident that I was supported and cared for. My carer was a friendly delightful companion and I looked forward to seeing her every day. She was helpful and proactive in her visits. The other carer was also friendly and lovely to spend an afternoon with. I am glad that this care was arranged and I really enjoyed the time spent with these ladies.

Excellent care provider for my elderly mother. Nothing is too much trouble and they definitely go the extra mile with her care. They even contact her doctors for me if I'm getting trouble getting through to them to recommend antibiotics etc. I used this company last year for 24 hour care up until November 2022 and my mother has made great progress and has built her confidence up so much, after this date we just have the care twice a day from then onwards. The app they use is really good so after each visit I just log in to check everything is ok. What food she's eaten/confirmed medication has been taken/her mood etc. The carers are always on time and Mother looks forward to seeing them. If they have any concerns about my mother they will contact me immediately. This company has taken the pressure off of me enormously in worry/caring for my mother. I have used different care companies in the past and this is definitely the best care company I have used. I would highly recommend them.

Always reported back if any problems occurred whilst they visited. Management were always available to answer any questions.

The communication the office is excellent and we are always kept informed of any necessary change of days and times.
