I was first introduced to Walfinch in November 2025, by my Social Services Community Navigator.
I could tell from the outset this care provider did just that; they care for the wellbeing of the client and their family and from our experience, I have nothing but praise for this company.

Most especially is the continuity we receive, which is particularly important for my husband's complex care needs. I have every confidence in leaving my husband in the kind care of the carers.

Overall Experience

We used Walfinch for my dad at home, whilst mum was in respite care following an operation. The main carer provided was male and a perfect match for dad. He actually got dad walking around the block, something he hasn't done for months. His notes on the app were detailed and very helpful. Communication about any concerns and changes to the timetable were dealt with efficiently and effectively. We will definitely be using Walfinch Care if and when needed in the future.

Overall Experience

We started using Walfinch East Barnet, in November 2025 and continue to do so. I can honestly say the experience has been excellent from the very beginning. The administrative and management team have been incredibly accommodating and flexible, making the whole process feel straightforward and well-supported.

As this was our first time using carers, we had some understandable concerns particularly about how comfortable it would feel having new people in our home, and how long it might take to find the right fit. However, those worries were quickly put to rest. The carers themselves are professional, kind, and understanding, and they've made a real effort to build trust and provide compassionate support.

The team they've put together is truly wonderful, and what we expected to be a potentially stressful transition turned out to be smooth and reassuring. We're very grateful for the care and attention they've shown, and would highly recommend their services.

Marcelo and his team are caring, thoughtful and compassionate and take the time to assess your loved ones needs correctly pairing the right carers with the right people. All the staff at Walfinch East Barnet are completely customer focused and highly professional. They are friendly and helpful, ensuring the best for their clients.

We have a live-in carer for my dad and she is amazing. I wanted someone to assist and encourage my dad to be self sufficient as much as possible and that's exactly what they do. They cook, shop and do tasks together, helping to keep my dad able to carry out day to day tasks. Marcelo and the rest of the office staff take the time to listen and understand my requirements and match the correct carer. They have helped out at short notice and I don't know what I would have done without their help. I would recommend the Walfinch East Barnet branch 100%

Overall Experience

Prior to Walfinch my wife had been 24/7 carer for mum and she was very apprehensive about bringing in outsiders but also had reached a point that she was exhausted and recognised she needed help as mum's mobility was deteriorating. Walfinch were prompt to come and see us and explain their services in detail and the managers were able to organise care for our mum very quickly. We had a team of approx 5 carers (3 times a day, 7days a week) - almost all were excellent - well presented, caring and professional. The care was over a short period as mum passed away soon after Walfinch started but we very much appreciated the support at a very stressful time.

We switched agencies during my mothers care to work with Walfinch and were not dissapointed. Sanju the carer who came to live with us was wonderful and immediately made us feel we had made the right choice. Sanju was assisted every day by drop in carers, all of whom were kind and compassionate and attentive toward my mother . We were grateful to work with Walfinch at such a difficult time

My mothers'experience with Wallfinch has been SUPERB- the staff always arrive in good time and are extremely professional! They pay close attention have studied and continuously monitor my mother's physical; mental and health needs. The day carers are integral in alerting me to vital aspects of my mother's care. The cooperate with myself including other professionals that frequent the home with regard to my mothers care needs. Shraddha and Shivangi are downright reliable- they have built a strong team which has resulted in a seamless Service. Both ladies have 100% Embraced their roles and as a result are indispensable, reliable and trustworthy as individuals with a total heart of dedication to my mum! My dad has been with the agency for 3 weeks I would like to acknowledge the following day care Anita. She has cared for my dad over and beyond expectations. She is professional thorough and when she is with our father I don't have to worry about anything. Her dedication to this generation of elderly care is outstanding.

She does exercises with him, she sings with him she keeps him upbeat and is so dedicated and conscious. My review is for this imperious carer. Thank you so much.

I have known the carer through a very dear friend of mine who is living with progressive Parkinson and I cannot speak highly enough of him. The love, care and patience he provides is exceptional. He is truly an angel sent. He treats my dear friend as if he were his own family with genuine compassion. He blends with all of us with his warm, approachable with a positive attitude.

Overall Experience

This is my first time using Walfinch and they have been so helpful in looking after my Dad following his release from hospital. All members of staff that we have dealt with (from the carers themselves to the ladies in the office on the other end of the phone) have been polite, caring and very understanding to my Dad's situation. They have been a great help and support not only to my Dad but also to myself and my sister as we look after my Dad in his home. Every visit they are happy and supportive and treat Dad with so much care and respect. They have built up a great rapport with him and encourage him to walk with his frame, do exercises to build up his strength as well as drink/eat and even play games with him. All staff have been great but I must give a special mention to a few specific members of staff who are just lovely and a credit to your Company. Thank you!

Overall Experience

Wonderful care service, with regular reviews to ensure the client is receiving the right care. All the carers are kind and courteous to both the individual patient and the family. They make great efforts in getting to know what their clients needs and likes, and always tries to accommodate all requests. It doesn't matter how unresponsive the patient us, the carers are always respectful and chatty, making sure every move is pre-informed.

Two years later, Walfinch Care continues to exceed expectations. My uncle's communication skills and well-being have improved dramatically. He genuinely likes all his carers and values their care. The team remains exceptionally proficient at medication management and maintaining his property. After completing essential tasks, carers engage with him in a friend-to-friend manner, which has been invaluable for his emotional health. Management provides weekly schedules and proactive communication. The app offers wonderful peace of mind. I have no concerns and will continue choosing Walfinch for his care.
