We contacted and instructed Walfinch to help us care for an elderly friend from April 2025 onwards. Our initial meeting with Walfinch was very encouraging in thier understanding of our concerns and the support needs for our friend. Our friend although quite physically fit has some dementia but wishes
to retain her independence which we want to help her keep as long as safely possible. To date we can report that we are very happy with the way the Walfinch care team have built a really good support and friendly relationship with our friend who seems to love the regular visits. This relationship will become increasingly important as the time goes on and her support needs will undoubtedly increase. Well done Walfinch and thankyou.

The ladies from Walfinch provide extra care services to my mother a couple of times a week, plus ad hoc services when requested, in addition to her basic care package. My mother likes the people and appreciates their company. They are professional and always try to accommodate our requests.
Walfinch
listen to our feedback, do their best to adjust their services as we request, and are always helpful.
The people visiting my mother raise topics that should be attended to by the basic care services which is helpful for me as I am travelling sometimes so don't necessarily see what is happening day to day.
The service is well organised, well managed and you can trust them.

I really didn't know where to start when I began looking for someone to help support my mum, but fortunately Walfinch came up on my internet search, and I'm so happy they did!
Right from my initial enquiry the team demonstrated real understanding of the issues around introducing carers into an elderly
person's routine, and I was quickly reassured that they would find just the right person for Mum, and they certainly have! Mum views her carer as a friend and looks forward to her visits. Support is given in a sensitive way and Mum always feels respected and never patronised or talked down to. From my point of view I feel confident that at times when I'm away or busy, Walfinch will step in and provide the help we need.

We have been clients of Walfinch Kingston and Weybridge branch since the beginning of this year and from the moment we enquired their approach and support has been caring and empathetic, keeping my Dad at the centre of all they do. Whenever we have had a question or request they have gone above and
beyond to ensure we are happy and comfortable. Every member of the team is professional, friendly and amazing at what they do and they have made my Dads daily life easier. The staff based in the office communicate regularly and are so very efficient and quick when we have altered our requirements. We would highly recommend this company if you are looking for care yourself or a member of your family.

My husband had a stroke in December and Walfinch were at the ready when he came home at the beginning of March. They have been really professional and friendly, always on time and I have complete confidence in their ability to care for my husband and support me. I would have no hesitation in recommending
their services.
They are quite expensive but worth every penny. Quality and professional care does not come cheap.

Walfinch Kingstone and Weybridge have been caring for my uncle at home since April, who suffered a stroke at the beginning of the year. My aunt and I knew after the first discussion that Walfinch was streets ahead of other competitors and they have certainly not disappointed. The tender and loving care
provided to my uncle is simply outstanding. The team of ladies hasn't changed over the months, so we have all become great friends. My uncle is relaxed and greets the ladies with a big smile each morning. Within minutes, laughter can be heard. After all the months Walfinch continues to go above and beyond the services listed in their portfolio.
I am living abroad but it is so comforting knowing Walfinch is caring for my uncle and at the same time, keeping an eye on my aunt. Both extremely, dear to me. In addition, I have regular contact with the team and their app enables me to check each of the calls with my uncle.
I would highly recommend Walfinch. 10 stars, Simply outstanding service.

We have had a number of care agencies but for various reasons approached Walfinch. When a person came to asses my wife everything was explained very clearly and I was impressed with their thoroughness. They have always been prepared to go that extra step. All carers have been very professional, so kind
and always on time. Nothing has been too much trouble and they all built up a very good relationship with my wife.

All the carers are delightful and keen to help us with whatever problems we might have. Nothing has been too much trouble, and they have encouraged my husband to do a little exercise when he was happy not to. Their spare time spent cleaning our ancient cottage has been much appreciated too.

We contacted Walfinch (Reigate & Horsham) for our elderly mother through a word-of-mouth recommendation. My mother was recovering from a severe bout of winter flu and she needed some extra help around the house. Walfinch responded immediately to our enquiry and, after two initial meetings to discuss
exactly what was required/envisaged to assist her, came up with a suggested weekly visit. This was designed to help my mother get back on her feet again and also to enable her to develop a relationship with a small team of carers who would be able to step up and help in the future, should she ever fall ill again. My mother lives (fiercely!) independently but through the helpful and kind attitude of her Walfinch carer, she positively looks forward to visits. In short, the whole Walfinch team is excellent, from management down, and we would recommend them unreservedly.

We found Walfinch through the care matching site. From the earliest contacts I have always felt completely assured of their professionalism and the values underpinning their service.
My husband spent 8 months in hospital with a serious illness and a profound nerve injury. When the NHS could not provide
the re-enablement package on the agreed date Walfinch stepped up and within 24 hours had realised a schedule of care which addressed all our complexities and anxieties. Most importantly this allowed him to celebrate his birthday at home.
2 months later and my husband is much stronger. Our small team of regular carers are friendly and positive and promote independence. I am impressed by their commitment to learning and training We have seen the most senior and the most junior team members working on a wide range of 'problems' from continence to IT for environmental control. Their practical wisdom ensures his comfort and has given us the confidence to care for ourselves between visits.

I was discharged from the hospital after eight months and was understandably concerned about what care would be like at home. I need not of worried at all the care I have received from the Walfinch carers has been top class.
I’m looking for the carers to make a difference to my day, and they all achieve
that they all unfailingly polite and a pleasure to have in your home.
Not only do they provide me with care. They also help with my rehabilitation. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Walfinch (Reigate and Horsham) has provided exemplary and consistently excellent care for my mother. The initial assessment was sensitively handled with a natural human, one-to-one approach and that promise has been followed through week to week, day to day. Their staff are very kind, full of sensitive
personality and have become more than carers - always going above and beyond. The company is led very efficiently and attentively and that lead is always available for routine things (eg booking changes) and for pressing, more critical matters - sorted with no fuss. That utterly reliable 24-hour availability and one-to-one service is rare and very valued. I would recommend Walfinch confidently to anyone looking for bespoke, respectful and authentic care. What could be seen as a negative stage of life, is in Walfinch’s hands turned into a real positive.

A very caring company, and a great team, we couldn’t fault the girls who came to support and care for mum. The process of engaging the care, from start to finish was straightforward and the communication is excellent. With a concise invoice system and ease of payment, we felt a weight lifted from our
shoulders.
