I am 89, live alone, and have balance problems. My son and daughter live far away and I have no other living relatives. We joined Radfield last March, and a carer comes here once a week. She makes sure I am doing exercises, cleans - and always makes me laugh! If there were problems, a report would go to my children. It was a good move to select Radfield.

Overall Experience

David has had many care firms over the last 15 years, and all have been hit and miss. I can honestly say that Radfield Home Care from the office to the care worker is 100% good, on many occasions, they have dealt with hospitals and doctors, which have helped me and David, the care workers always polite, and you get the feeling they care, and are diligent with checking the medicine on every visit.

Overall Experience

I am a believer in 'you get what you pay for', and Radfield are a brilliant company. Excellent and totally polite from the management to everyday carers. I have recommended the company to my terminally ill cousin and his wife, with no qualms whatsoever. Long may they continue.

Overall Experience

Recently widowed and needing care after a hip replacement, I have found Radfield Home Care to be of exemplary attitude and conduct. All carers are thoroughly professional in approach and friendly in demeanour. No task is too much trouble for them and the general level of service is top-rate.

My husband has had Radfield carers now for 4 years and it's been a 1st class service. Staff are always punctual and smart in appearance. They treat my husband with dignity, and he is very well treated. Radfield are not the cheapest care company but are the best (you get what you pay for). Thank you for the care you give to my husband and myself.

The support I have had has been excellent, both from office staff and my carer. Visits are always on time and she is very efficient and friendly. Radfield Home Care is highly recommended by myself for anyone requiring support for themselves and to consider for their loved ones.

Radfield Carers have visited my Dad daily for a while now ..Their staff are always kind , friendly , happy to help .. They will leave messages for me if they notice anything they think needs my attention.

If we have any changes to The Daily plan there is never a problem ..The Managers are always happy to re-arrange and help at a moments notice .

My mum has been receiving care from Radfield since coming out of hospital and subsequent car home earlier this year. We are extremely grateful to the help and flexibility of Radfield in supporting a care programme which is adaptable to mums needs. We have had to change the hours on several occasions to accommodate mums complex needs but this has never been a problem for Radfield and they have always been able to accommodate. As a family we made it clear from the start that this would possibly be a moveable beast and indeed it has proved to be so. Mum was difficult at the start being agitated and not wanting anyone in her home but the carers have been tremendously patient and understanding and whilst mums has dementia, we feel that she has now settled down with a regular rotation of carers. The regularity of familiar faces is very important and this is one thing the team at staffed fully understand, especially with dementia clients. We are very happy and I think that mum is too.

The service provided by Radfield has made a big difference to my parents day to day life. The 2 ladies who come to help mum make her feel really special. Alongside doing their job they make her laugh and start her day off in the best way. She doesn't remember they're coming but her face lights up when they arrive.

A big thank you to all who cared for mum over the last 2 years. Initially one visit per week, growing to 3 visits per day as her dementia progressed.
We were very happy with the caring and professional support given, which included medication, cooking, bathing, walks, activities and just being there for a chat, a laugh, or for reassurance.

Thanks also go to the wider team who ensured that regular reviews of the care package and flexible responses to changing needs resulted in mum staying happily in her own home for as long as possible.

We contacted Radfield after Dad had a fall, we wanted dad to be at home and not in hospital or a care home, so he could get the best possible care. He had two carers doing two weeks at a time living in with him and they were both fantastic, looking after all dads needs and keeping him comfortable and safe at home. On occasions he would require extra help and other carers would come to support the Live in carers. Dab had always wanted to pass away peacefully in his sleep at home and he got his wish thanks to the care and support from Radfield and their dedicated staff.

Overall Experience

Radfield started supporting my Mum in August with showering, but her condition deteriorated very rapidly, meaning the carers faced a different challenge on every visit. They respond to this brilliantly showing care and compassion at every stage. As her condition worsened the support we required changed and at every step Radfield were able to respond meeting our varying requests for visits often at short notice. With the assistance of Radfield and the support of the family Mum was able to remain in her own home to the end which was her dearest wish.

We contacted a staff member at Radfield after our Mother needed additional care at home. My brother and I are several hours away from Mum and we needed daily support. The service provided by Radfield has been excellent and our Mother has bonded really well with another member of staff and the team and the relationship has developed as they got to know each other. It is a huge relief to know that she is in such excellent hands and the ability to flex the care has been fantastic.

We have been using the service for about 2 months now. Mum has gone from being slightly unsure about it all at first to being quite relaxed now about twice weekly visits to support her and dad with daily tasks around the home. We have had regular communication from Radfield Home Care and they have been supportive in making sure the services they provide are personalised and reviewed regularly.

Overall Experience

From the beginning the care provided has been compassionate and attentive towards my parents. Mums carers provide more than just basic care and assistance they show warmth and dignity towards mum in her daily life and are extremely kind and considerate with dad. They have formed a friendship which is good to see. It has given the family peace of mind knowing mum and dad are well cared for. My mum, who has Alzheimers, was looked after every night for almost a year following an accident.

The two carers had mums best interests at all times and treated her with care and compassion in every aspect of their role from showering her, listening to her when she was upset and styling her hair.

Radfield Home Care have cared for my father for several years. From the very first phone we made looking for a home care provider until now they have been nothing but amazing. From meeting with the Field Care Supervisor my husband and I knew my father in law was in safe hands and that we had made the right decision by choosing Radfield. The policies and procedures were carefully explained and our needs for my father in law were their priority.
The carers, especially one carer in particular are outstanding and the carer has fitted seamlessly into our household. She treats him with respect and dignity at all times.
They have an open door policy ( phone) with any adjustments or updates that I need to make and she is very accommodating and helpful.

Would I recommend? In a heartbeat!
