Visiting Angels have been providing home care for my mother for over 2 years. The care provided has been first class with cheerful and pro-active carers on a daily basis. Initially, care was a daily visit, but as my mother has aged, the care provided has increased to 3 times daily to facilitate daily showering and dressing, all meals, medication and preparation for bedtime.

Its fantastic, and reassuring that my mother is able to remain in the family house with all its memories, and the Angels are providing a calm and relaxing environment to achieve this. She is very happy. Thank you

Overall Experience
The care my mum is receiving while living with Parkinson's is excellent. The carers all show kindness and patience while looking after mum. They take time to understand her individual routines and needs and always treat her with dignity.
Communication with day to day care via the app is really useful and informative. The managers are always available, understanding and proactive in their approach to mum's care.

As a family we are incredibly grateful for the support given to mum and would highly recommend this team to anyone needing high-quality, compassionate care.

Have found the wonderful angels truly special. They are always kind, gentle and respectful. My mum is in hospital at the moment and the lovely Skye has been visiting her had the hospital. This has really lifted her mood an helped with her recovery. Our family are so glad we found them.

Overall Experience

I have been very happy with the care I have received. Staff are cheerful and reliable. They have been willing to do all I have asked of them. I have had the consistent care of one helper recently and all much happier with that arrangement. At first I had a variety of staff.

Excellent company with highly competent and caring staff. Their medical knowledge is helpful and they'll drop everything and come for emergencies. Their charges are on the high side but you do get what you pay for.

The visiting angels (or as we called them mums angels ) have been amazing in the 4 months that we have used before mum went into a care home.
The advice and guidance that has been given has been invaluable. From the knowledge of dementia and medical issues. Has many times helped to get extra support from the GP and other departments.
The help ensuring practical things have been put into place in the home, which helped mum so much.
The ladies are always cheerful and engaging in conversation with mum. Helping to get her up in the morning , getting into the shower and dressed. A bug thank you to Shelly, Pooja, Bridgett and Charn.
The app that visiting angels use is incredible as I could see after each visit what had taken place.

My only one regret is that I didn't find visiting angels sooner. To help support mum and myself in so many ways.

Mum really values the support received, even though she doesn't allow the carers to do as much as they would like.
She loves the routine, speaks highly of them all and enjoys their company as she is housebound. Mum has definitely become more comfortable and able to engage in conversation with the carers.
The daily reports are a really useful insight for us to see what's going on.

Shelley and Pooja share concerns quickly and professionally, whilst being proactive , and informative .

This company live up to their name.
The professional care is provided with compassion and good humour;the hour-long visits quickly established a familiarity with the client and her husband which was a pleasure and relief to witness.
On several occasions the Angels worked above and beyond,and no situation appeared too much trouble.
The after-care compassion, attendance at the funeral service and regular welfare visits and phone calls to my friend have been such a welcome boost for him.
I am very grateful and inspired by their work.

Overall Experience
We began using Visiting Angels in October 2025 to help care for my parents, and the experience has been positive from the start.
Initially, we arranged part-time support, but as my mother's dementia progressed, we transitioned to live-in carers. Throughout every stage the team has been compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive.
We are currently in the process of finding live-in carers who understand my mother's needs, and Visiting Angels have been very helpful and patient in supporting us through this transition.

Knowing my parents are in safe, capable hands has given our family real peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Visiting Angels to anyone looking for reliable, home care services who genuinely care about the wellbeing of the families they support.

Following a fall at home I needed some help during my recovery period and found Visiting Angels. I was initially concerned about needing to ask for help as I am a very independent person but after meeting them I was very impressed with their kindness and care. They helped me to regain my confidence in looking after myself again and were so kind and it was a real pleasure to see them on the days they came to visit. With their support it relieved my family of the pressure of re arranging the whole of their lives to take care of me and enabled them to feel happy that I was being supported. I would have no hesitation in using them again should the need arise.

I have no hesitation in recommending their services and cannot praise them highly enough.

My mother had visiting angels for a short while but she was very pleased with the service. The carer was friendly and established a good rapport with my mother very quickly. It was important for us to have someone my mother felt comfortable with and she did so immediately.

I would recommend the service for anyone who needs support in their home.

Overall Experience
I have been a client of Visiting Angels since last May to help care for my wife who has Alzheimer's, the continuity of staff, caring nature plus attention to detail have proved second to none. The home manager and director are always making sure all staff go the extra mile to satisfy the person's needs, important things like picking up prescriptions plus making vital phone calls on behalf of the client.

The special emergency line service actually works as I have found out firsthand, I have nothing but thanks and lots of praise for this company.

We employed the services of Visiting Angels for a 90+yr old relative following a lengthy hospital stay. The Manager, went out of her way to visit her in hospital and at home, to ascertain not only what her needs and requirements were but also to assess which carers would be most appropriate to send in.
Not only were we highly delighted with the manager but also the carers she placed with our relative who could be 'difficult / challenging' due to her illness.
No only were we incredibly delighted with the above, Visiting Angels provides excellent VFM in today's 'market' compared to rival companies.
Thank you to all at VA, and the staff involved in the day to day care of our relative.
Would I recommend Visiting Angels to other looking forward to care at home?

Absolutely !

Following a fall at home, I contracted Visiting Angels on behalf of my mother initially for short-term help allowing me to retrun to work immediately. I was immediately impressed by the care, attention to detail and professionalism of the team, as well as the immediate rapport they all built with my mother. This was our and her first experience of having carers into the house and their efforts above made this seamless and stress-free for both of us. Although initially this was a short-term placement, soon after my mother had to enter hospital for 6-7 weeks but their care and interest did not reduce during this time, with regular visits to my mother in hopspital for assessment but also for social/personal reasons. I feel this was above and beyond what I had expected, and made me realise how lucky we were to have their support. Following her sudden discharge they re-accommodated to her needs immediately. I wholeheartedly recommend Visiting Angels and their carers.

Mum and dad have always been very wary about having carers in the home and losing their independence.
Finding visiting angels has been such positive experience for my parents and myself.
The care being provided enables my parents to feel that they are in control and they feel that they have found new friends rather than carers.
All staff are professional, positive and friendly. They are flexible and able to assist mum and dad on the tasks required on any visit.
I love the app they use, which enables me to keep in touch with what has happened at each visit.

Visiting Angels have given me reassurance and lifted some of the concerns I have regarding my mum and dad living independently.

The carer is always on time and if for any reason is going to be late, she will contact mum. She is very professional, caring and industrious while she is with mum.
It was a huge step allowing a stranger into her home but the gentle nature of her has put mum's mind at rest. She encourages mum to do what she can but steps in when needed. In the hour she is there she prepares breakfast, lunch and tea - the latter for mum to pop in microwave or oven later. She makes the bed, washes up and ensures the house looks clean and tidy which is what mum likes! She also helps with her exercises.

The accessibility of the company is excellent and they are always conferring with mum and making sure she is happy.

Mum has been a client now for over a year. I feel very comfortable with the care my mum is receiving, it gives me peace of mind to know she is in safe hands.
