Visiting Angels were recommended to me by a friend at a crucial time when our family were struggling with the care and decline of my dad's health. I had spoken to several care providers but when I rang Visiting Angels they just said all the things that I so desperately needed to hear as to what help they could provide. It had taken over a year to persuade my parents to finally accept some care as they are very independent and saw care as an intrusion of their privacy. After a meeting between the care manager, a senior carer and my family together a care plan was set and my parents were reassured every step of the way. It was hard at first, my parents did not like strangers in the house, but we persevered and now three months later we are lucky to have regular carers who are empathetic, supportive, encouraging, and kind who work closely with our family so that for now our parents can live independently at home. We could not manage without them and would highly recommend.

Our elderly mother (94 years young) has been in the care of visiting angels for a few years now, she initially only needed help once a week, as she was too proud to admit she needed help, over time, this has progressed to daily hourly visits in the morning with help for taking meds and help showering, as well as evening visits to ensure she has a meal and check she is ok before bed. Being an independent and proud lady she was reluctant at first but visiting angels won her trust and we were able to increase the help she needed over time. This has enabled her to remain living at home, chat to kind people everyday as well as receive the care she needs. The name 'visiting Angels' is exactly what we her carers are. As her daughter living over an hour away, I feel reassured she is receiving the right care delivered by 'friends' to remain independent and in the knowledge our mother is safe and looked after. She considers her carers as friends and looks forward to seeing them.

We have nothing but praise for the kindness and care offered by Visiting Angels. We are particularly impressed with the friendliness and attention of detail shown by the carers. Our 98 year old mum always looks weel-dressed and cared for, the house is tidy and well-organised. The carers encourage mum to exercise and have taken her out for a walk or coffee at the local cafe. Visiting Angels have always been in close communications with us re any issues as well as her general needs. Have found the wonderful angels truly special. They are always kind, gentle and respectful. My mum is in hospital at the moment and the lovely Skye has been visiting her had the hospital. This has really lifted her mood an helped with her recovery. Our family are so glad we found them.

I have been very happy with the care I have received. Staff are cheerful and reliable. They have been willing to do all I have asked of them. I have had the consistent care of one helper recently and all much happier with that arrangement. At first I had a variety of staff.

Excellent company with highly competent and caring staff. Their medical knowledge is helpful and they'll drop everything and come for emergencies. Their charges are on the high side but you do get what you pay for.
