Overall Experience

After my hip replacement, I could not have wished for a better team of people to help me or my recovery- every one of them were truly angels who actually cared and were not only professional and polite at all times but always turned up on time and at the same time I truly couldn't have coped without

them and although I am now fully on the road to recovery I am going to miss them. From the moment I picked up the phone to the manager and asked for some support I knew I was in the right hands. I cannot praise this company enough and they definitely live up to their name that they truly are visiting angels.

We contacted Visiting Angels our 92 year old Auntie needed more help to keep her independence in her own home.From the first contact with the managers who were so understanding of our needs to the amazing carers all of whom are so caring understanding and compassionate. Auntie is very happy with

My Mum has really benefitted from the caring service provided by Visiting Angels. Initially, my brother and I only really wanted to make sure that Mum saw somebody to interact with, but the services such as help with shopping, visiting the library, medicines, application of skin salve, housework and

all the day-to-day things which she struggles with have been a God-send.

Visiting Angels have adapted their care as my mum's health has declined. Donna has a wealth of experience and has helped me and my
Sister with my Mum's care package which has evolved.
We are very grateful for the team and so is my
Mum who really enjoys all the carers who look after her- take her

out, provide companionship as well as make sure she takes her medication and eats well.

Since joining Visiting Angels Jamie has enjoyed the company of a number of carers.
He looks forward to his visits which enables him to go out in the community ie. visiting local shops and pub.
Going out has increased his outlook and improved his overall wellbeing.

Overall Experience

Dad was very very reluctant to have any kind of care at all. The family persuaded him to at least try Visiting Angels as they had been recommended by a family friend. Having them visit 3 times a week for an hour has made a magnificent difference to dads well being and outlook. Although the care isn't

every day we feel that if required we can get the support we need and dad will feel comfortable. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Overall Experience

Mums care is excellent and the office staff always available if we need to make any changes to mums care plan. The Angels are always on time and ensure that mum gets a warm meal everyday and her personal care always managed with respect and dignity. I would recommend this company highly as it gives

me peace of mind knowing that someone is taking care of mum and she doesn't need to go into a care home.

Overall Experience

Have only been dealing with Visiting Angels for a couple of weeks, but so far they have lived up to their name and I can't fault them. My elderly father's health deteriorated suddenly, and we needed help quickly. But we also needed flexibility as things were initially changing on a daily basis, and

it was difficult to determine exactly what was needed. Reassuring and fuss-free, Visiting Angels met this need. They have provided an excellent tailored service and all the staff have been friendly, caring and competent.

My Mum, Mary has been a client of Visiting Angels since September 2024, with daily morning visits. My Mum has mixed dementia but with VA help, lives independently. The morning visit just gets her day started well with company and prompting for personal hygiene, fresh clothes as well as preparing breakfast

, a sandwich for lunch and a suitable ready meal which she is able to microwave for herself.
Mum has loved all of the visiting carers and always seems to be cheerful , exchanging stories from her life.
Their support has been a life-saver to me and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

Overall Experience

Visiting Angels have been looking after my brother on a daily basis for almost a year now. I have been very impressed by the quality of care provided throughout. They went above and beyond to support him when he needed an operation in hospital and in meeting his needs during the after care at home.

This was especially important to me as I live far away from him.
They have also recently taken him on a day trip to Blackpool which he very much enjoyed.
I would be very happy to recommend Visiting Angels for anyone that has care needs in central Lancashire.

Visiting angels have been providing care for my grandad for around 3 months. The services they provide are exceptional.
The care staff are punctual and work in a very person-centred way. They support my grandad with the things he cannot do for himself, and promote independence as much as possible to

ensure he can remain independent in his own home. The management ensure continuity of staff members which is excellent as my grandad has built good working relationships with the carers who support him. This has massively helped him with overcoming loneliness.
The management team are fantastic. Any requests made are acted upon quickly and efficiently. The service is very well led, and responsive to the needs of service users and their families.
I cannot thank visiting angels enough for the care and support they provide. They have made a significant impact on my grandads well being.
Thank you for everything you do! We would be lost without you.

My wife suffers from a very progressive brain disease PSP. Being her full time carer and never experienced an illness of this magnitude I turned to Visiting Angels for help and support. The professional and homely service can not be faulted. From the very beginning our relationship with all the staff

from the M D, the Manager and the carer herself has been first class and gives both my wife and I much comfort in these difficult times.. Businesses such as this rely on people, people who understand, are reliable and who you feel they are there just for you and Visiting Angels personnel East Lancashire have all those qualities in abundance. Overall Experience

Came across Visiting Angels from a poster in the local GP surgery. Needed urgent care for my Mum after she fractured her wrist following a fall. We really wanted some consistency in the carers coming in and also the times of the visits so decided to choose a private company. Found the staff we spoke

to very caring and professional. They did a site visit and settled my mum with the carer. Very happy so far with the service provided.

Overall Experience

When my mum broke her arm we wondered how we would cope living some distance away. I am grateful that my sister saw a poster for Visiting Angels in the GP surgery and made a note of the details. Mum is very independent and frustrated about her arm but Visiting Angels are making it bearable for her.

We are immensely thankful that we have someone we can trust looking after her. From that first phone call, they took care of everything and I can finally stop worrying 24/7.

In the care industry, the quality of the people employed is paramount, and everyone we have dealt with at Visiting Angels has been fantastic, from the people in the office to the carers who came to our home. The care given to my wife has been superb, with genuine empathy shown and proper concern for

her wellbeing. Plus an hour's care lasts for 60 minutes, not the 50 minutes that some agencies provide per hour. The paperwork and invoices have been clear and accurate. In addition, Visiting Angels were happy to fit in with our time schedule rather than come at times that suited them. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We organized a two hour personal care visit 8-10 each morning for my mum who has Alzheimer's disease - this lasted about three weeks from losing my dad until mum got a care home place, a very difficult time. Visiting Angels arranged for two lady carers to cover all the visits, one for five days per

week and the other for two, so we had good consistency and not random carers turning up. Both the ladies were great with mum and she liked them from the start, we could not have asked for anything more and would not hesitate to use them again if needed.
