SureCare (B&F) was my first experience of home care. We needed a two-person, four-times-a-day package of care for my father following discharge from a lengthy spell in hospital.
In short, the arrangements were set up very quickly, in consultation with my father and myself (whilst he was still in hospital), there was a diligent home visit before Dad arrived home, and everything was checked and double checked. Nothing was too much trouble.
The care team who visited my father were always polite and diligent, even when he was less than polite and not always compliant. They anticipated his needs, and accommodated his special requests for food.
The agency managers communicate extremely well and it is clear that working relationships between team members and management is good. When my father had a fall, outside of the time the care team was attending, the manager was extremely helpful, advising me what to do and mobilising her team earlier to assist.
Above and beyond. A great service.
