Cera Care provide Excellent, proffesional care for my wife Barbara. I would recommend this company, without hesitation.
Nothing else to say, except they are a great company, have used them for about 8 years.
Thanks Cera care

Cera Blackburn have been supporting my Mum for the last 3/4 years. My mum has complex physical and mental health needs and other care agencies have struggled to manage her care. The Management Team have always gone out of their way to provide consistent and familiar carers that she can relate to and
that can help her to engage and cooperate with the personal care that they need to provide. My mum sees the carers as her friends and she looks forward to their visits, they chat with her and make her laugh and all of them go out of their way to provide person centred care to her and make sure that all her care needs are met under difficult circumstances. They go above and beyond what is expected of them. I have worked in Adult Social Care for many years as a Social Worker and worked closely with numerous care agencies and I have to say that in my experience Cera Care Blackburn are excellent.

I am very happy with the carers. They all work hard for us.
It just the office staff. I wish they would look after the girls better. Some work all day with no brakes. That is not on. I get on well with all the girls.

Once again again Cera care have let me down. Carers don't arrive despite me phoning to check today 27/5/2025 was told 11.30 am it's now 12.00 noon no carer . Full composed needs emptying and cleaning nothing
To eat or drink had to get my own medication no cleaning done no wonder I'm suffering under
nourishment and dehydration had to wobble very unsteady on a zimmer frame to take my own medication would give zero star rating if i could stay away from this company at all costs have now reported them to the cqc should be renamed cera dont care as it's obvious they neither care about your welfare or your loved ones . Absolute rubbish paying with peoples lives

I am a client of Cera Care Plymouth. I would have no hesitation to recommend the girls who come around as my carers. They are diligent, professional, very friendly and caring people. There is literally nothing they won't do to help, they have save my leg. I had sepsis I was on the verge of losing it
and the care from these people twice a day has kept my leg. They work long and hard hours, for not very good pay as we all know. In my opinion I would pay them £20 hourly. They do need better communication and leadership which I understand is coming along now. For a while things were not run as good as they could have been, we all got letters apologizing which I thought was really good keeping us up to date what is happening because we didn't know.
I have my favourite carers from the Plymouth office they know who they are, I'm not allowed to mention them by name. They come on a regular basis if it wasn't for their care I'm not sure where I would be.

Mum has been receiving three visits per day by the team from Cera care for at least 18 months now and I cannot fault them. Mum likes a drink and chain smokes and can be very stubborn, yet the team have never failed to turn up and it gives me so much peace of mind to know that someone is looking out
for her when I live so far away.
Two of the carers in particular are exceptional and will go the extra mile to ensure mum eats during the day and is as safe as possible, but all carers treat her with compassion and respect.
Having the app means I can check the visit notes daily and know if there are any issues, but the team also phone immediately if they have any concerns. I would recommend them to anyone considering care for their relatives, you can't manage everything alone.

I wouldn't recommend this company one bit. They have left my sister in a mess, And left her in faeces and urine as unable to walk as is bed bound. Now in hospital being treated for neglect and could be more stuff yet after more medical investigations. We have video and photo evidence. And when we call
to discuss the issues they were rude and thought it was funny. They deserve 0 stars in all aspects.

I have been with Cera Care - Cardiff & The Vale since they took over from another home care provider.
The comparison in the care since Cera took over is second to none.
I have carers 3 times a day, and if it wasn't for the care that I received from them, I would probably be in hospital.

Despite a recent formal complaint about the care coordinator relaying untruths about the availability of preferred carers and the management's assurance that this would be investigated and rectified we have had another instance of the care coordinator telling untruths. Should we have any further suspicions
of this activity, Cera will cease to be our care provider. I have used this platform to air our grievance because it seems from my previous review that this is the only way to get any serious response from senior management

To begin with, care was excellent, however as my Grandma's needs increased, the care became somewhat lacking. We had to contact Cera on many occasions and although assured that changes would happen - we were back to square one within a couple of weeks. Some carers went above and beyond, whereas others
did the bare minimum. Medication administration was an issue for many many months, to the point we were noting that the correct dosages had been given. Even aspects such as basic personal care and oral care were not always completed to an acceptable level.
Good service for those who just need a little bit of support, but wouldn't recommend for greater levels of need.

Since commencement of CERA providing care to my mother with dementia their management has shown poor communication, lack of transparency leaving a family without any faith and trust. If you need to contact them in emergencies they don't respond which then requires family to escalate through their GP
and council. The local authority needs to review who they outsource the care to.

I cannot praise the management team and carer in the field for the help and support my mum has received and continues to receive. They are all very helpful and genuinely care about my mum, and make sure her needs are met and she is happy and content in her own home. Recently we lost my Dad, and the
team have supported not only my mum throughout this tough time but they have also made sure I am doing OK. The management team always responds to any messages I leave and they are accommodating when it comes to changing call time to support any appointments Mum may have. They are supportive and always keep me informed of any calls that are not going to be at the scheduled time. The team as a whole is fantastic, and I cannot thank them enough for the support they are giving to my mum and the peace of mind they are giving to me.

Dreadful, I get one minute instead of 30 per visit. I have to employ a cleaner to clean up after them, and they shout at me a lot. There is no care plan in this house, they stand and chat in my kitchen. In one week I have had 65 different people in my house.

Overall the carers are always very nice, but we as a family feel they are always rushing, therefore certain things do not get done properly. A few examples are: bins are never changed, mess is often left in the kitchen, and clothes are washed and then not taken out of the washing machine, leaving them
to get damp and smelly. Washing is also left in the tumble dryer, for over a week at times, and also not properly dried. Clothes are never put back in their place. Despite several attempts to tell the office our concerns they are never resolved, leaving everyone to feel frustrated and for us having to pick up the carers slack.

This is disgusting that carers are leaving clients to wait and not sticking to times, then leaving before their time which clients are paying for. I'm a level 3 carer and in my time of being a carer I always got there on time or just before and always stayed the time I was supposed to be there. I would
definitely not have this company. I have many a time had to go and sort out everything because of being late or not turning up this is not acceptable.

My Angels in Uniforms.
The carers are outstanding, they are kind, caring, sensitive, and reliable. They are expert problem solvers when dealing with challenging behaviour due to dementia. The app is superb providing excellent communication and particularly being able to identify any health risks.
A quality service by a company that operates with integrity. Highly recommend them as they have taken away all of my worries, I have every confidence in my angels as I refer to the carers.

Firstly, my review is for the past 4 months, I can only choose one!.
I did not choose Cera care, my social worker did. This review is true, kept short as 1000 letters isn't much.
Since Cera care came to "care" for me as a physically and mentally disabled man aged 52.
On a daily basis I have;
Missed
meds, missed meals, missed prescribed build-up shakes, had my rubbish piled up outside my back door, now I cannot exit in case of an emergency. Twice my freezer has been unplugged even with a freezer do not unplug written in black marker on the plug.
My social worker has asked about the rubbish to be told that I am supposed to have done the rubbish pile!? I cannot, I am on crutches.
I have made complaints by email, no response to any.
I've asked carers to ask for someone to call me, but nobody has called me.
But I have had a large bill!. I shall be contesting at the small claims court; to claim damages for the rubbish to be cleared and pest control to come to get rid of the rats. It is disgusting. Yuk

My husband has male carers (sometimes ladies will arrive) come in twice a day to get him up, washed, and dressed in the morning, and to get him ready for bed early evenings, he doesn't go to bed until much later. The carers are always friendly, helpful and between my husband and them, they always have
a laugh. They are all very professional in their approach and with what they do, and are patient with my husband. I cannot fault these carers for what they do.
The timekeeping is usually good. They know that he goes to a day center three days a week, and on those days, arrive early to get him ready. There have been times when they have arrived late for a visit, this can be because of an incident with a previous client that has delayed them. These are a rarity and not common. They always apologize for the late running of the call, and we understand that sometimes things happen that are out of their control. All in all, we both are satisfied with the service we receive from Cera.

Could I just tell you that my carer is first-class and I feel very privileged to have her help. She is professional, polite, friendly, capable and knowledgeable about health and care issues. She is very cheerful and well-presented too. All the carers I have experienced with Premier Care have been lovely.
