Service provided has been a massive success. At the start, when mum and myself were finding it hard. Everyone who visited showed empathy and did all they could to help. A real strength throughout has been the social element. I love how the carers will chat and simply talk about life (it feels personal).
Only challenge is updating pill changes (but understand).

Mum has been with Alcedo for 3 years now, and we have seen a lot of carers and even management come and go. Last summer was chaos in terms of 'revolving doors' of personnel, and we had to make a formal complaint. That said, since Danyelle and her team took over, all has changed for the better. She has
brought more structure, balance and an empathetic approach. The culture has radically improved, which is evident in the carers' confidence levels and attitudes. All round training is also better, with greater diligence and respect. I know my mum feels safe and well cared for now.

As a close friend of someone who receives care from Alcedo Care, I've seen firsthand the positive difference their support has made. From the very beginning, the carers have shown genuine compassion, professionalism, and respect, not just toward my friend but also toward the people around them.


What

stands out most is how personalised the care is. The staff take the time to really understand my friend's needs, preferences, and routines, which has given them a renewed sense of independence and confidence. Communication has also been excellent - I always feel reassured knowing my friend is in safe, capable, and caring hands.

Alcedo had cared for a relative of mine and went above and beyond in order to take care of my relative. They were very professional and compassionate. I would recommend them to anyone who needs extra support for their family members.

Been with them 5 months now and care package still not fully in place... lots of communication issues. They send random carers youve never met even though Ive highlighted people to be in my team and trained for me. Increasing my anxiety and stress levels which having this care is meant to decrease this...
there are some good carers but also a lot of staff that cant follow instructions.

My mother in law came to visit for the Christmas period 3 days before Christmas . She is from south Wales. It wasn't until she got here that I realized just how much personal care she needed as she has 3 visits a day from carers at home. She is 96yrs old and we wanted to preserve her dignity as much
as possible. I spoke with Adam from the Liverpool office the day after she arrived and he was able to arrange a home assessment that afternoon. Unbelievably they were also able to arrange a carer to attend that evening and then twice daily for the next 5 days. The care she received was second to none. All the staff were so caring, confident and above all totally understanding of her needs. We cannot thank them enough. Thank you all so much.

We have been with Alcedo Care for over six months and the care has been a great help in getting my husband up in the mornings, showered, shaved, and having breakfast! He responds very well to their care and gets up at once (he doesn't when I do it!). Carers are always very friendly and polite, and I

Since taking over my grandad's care in November, I have been extremely satisfied with the level of care. Staff are professional and care with dignity and high standards. The compliance towards medication management is excellent.

Our son has really benefited positively from the support Alcedo has provided. he looks forward to his support and has created lovely friendships with staff members. He has grown in confidence and enjoys his routine of going out. As parents, we were worried about him going out without us, but staff members
