We started our care for my Dad now 93 at Bluebird, 3 years ago to provide companionship taking him shopping and out for a lunch. This has taken a lot of stress away from the family and most of the carers have been to Dad liking. It is a hard time when your elders go through these times and we cannot thank Bluebird enough!

The friendly and efficient staff at Bluebird certainly know their stuff. They are taking excellent care of my 92 year old dad who has dementia. Dad is being cared for at home. This started out with a Bluebird carer for one hour a day but this has recently been extended to having a live-in carer. Bluebird are also helping me by liaising on my behalf with care staff from other organisations, such as the GP clinic and NHS hospital staff. So Dad now has a hospital bed, oxygen etc. in his bedroom. I would have been overwhelmed trying to organise this myself. I am amazed by how many different organisations/departments are involved with the care of the elderly. Dad found carer help difficult to accept at first and refused help with washing. But now he's happy and says he's being "waited on hand and foot". The best part is that, now he is being assisted to feed and drink properly (not just eating cake and yoghurt exclusively) he seems to be getting back to his old self.

The care is excellent, I have no complaints at all. All staff are kind, generous, always happy and always likes to have a chat, especially about myself and my family who are very good. Always on time, and care is wonderful. Could not complain about anything.

The carers are friendly, polite and professional. They clean my bungalow, do the washing up, get food shopping and prescriptions. I have had this service since June 2024.I am happy with my care and support package. Thank you.

Bluebird looked after my husband for the last 9 months of his life. Following a fall in surgery a few weeks after his passing I had no hesitation in asking them to look after me. They have once again been kind and caring and have played a key role in my gradual recovery.

Timing of weekend visits has been erratic, despite my requests that it should always be around 8 am. However, I do feel really supported by Bluebird and just wish it wasn't quite so expensive!

Our mother has had carers from Bluebird Care since January 2025. After a short hospital stay it was necessary for her to have carers assist her with her personal care and help twice a day. The visiting times had to be adjusted to help with the care that was required in the morning and evening. Our mother is very happy with the carers that visit and she is building up a good relationship with the ones that visit regularly and understand her daily needs. It gives us peace of mind that someone is going in to care for her twice a day when family are not there and that she is able to talk to them of any concerns. The information for each visit is recorded after each visit so the family are able to check that all is well. We would recommend Bluebird Care to others .

I have only praise for them, no negatives at all.

They are able to cook and make well-presented appetising meals - important to clients like me, who sometimes lack an appetite. Some have even surprised me with little extra kind and thoughtful touches.

The care manager who runs the office really cares about the clients and is always in contact. It's taken a while but I've finally got an amazing team of carers coming into me daily, I'm really content and for the first time in twenty years, I feel accepting of the fact that I need care. The carers respect my privacy and push me to be independent in a safe way. Thank you Bluebird for enabling me to stay in my own home.

It was such a relief to have a very professional company working with me to care for my friend who needed 24/7 care at home. The staff, from the very first phone call, put me at ease and everything from there was extremely well handled. I cannot thank them enough for all the care, advice and professionalism that was shown to my friend, especially by the live-in carer who was superb. My thanks goes to all the staff at Bluebird Care.

Bluebird has made what may have been the most difficult month of my life so much easier. Every single one of their team went above and beyond in every single visit, making my nan's last hours on this Earth comfortable, clean and cheerful and keeping my grandad safe - as well as tending to our emotional wellbeing as relatives. Every single member of Bluebird we encountered used their initiative and got stuck in, in an environment that could be challenging at times. I felt so confident leaving my grandparents in their care allowing us to concentrate on other things. I cannot thank you all enough, we will remember you forever.

My care has been excellent. I had an issue with a female carer, which was resolved. I have stated that I prefer female carers, but I still get male carers.

We would not hesitate to recommend Bluebird to anyone who wants high-quality care and peace of mind.
