Everything went very well, a few suggestions were put forward by us as well as the member of staff conducting the review. We and my mother (the client) expressed how pleased we are with the

My aunt Christine had very complex care needs following a major stroke 3 years ago and then untreatable cancer. She could not walk with the loss of use of her right side , and her speech very much compromised.
She needed 4 care visits per day handling all areas of nutrition, personal care, housekeeping
and companionship. She was a very independent person and adamant that she wanted to stay out of a care home. On the face of it, a challenging commission for Bluebird. An independent , private person who needed a high level of very personal care.
I have immense appreciation for the work Bluebird did for her.
A really friendly, approachable team -from management to carers. Very very professional and down to earth practical.
Her last few months have been very difficult but she died in January ,at home, as she wanted.
The care on her last day was extraordinary.
They do more than just do their job well. They truly focus a huge range of skills on meeting the needs of their client. Excellent

Bluebird Care is a first class care agency that I am so glad my Mum has been able to benefit from for the past 5 years. She has been so well looked after and cared for by the team and both her and the family feel so lucky to have them . My Mum is happy in their care and we are happy to put our trust
in them. Very reliable, caring , friendly and professional. Cannot fault them and I recommend them to anyone looking for at home care for their loved ones .

We recently moved care companies after moving my mother from Ravenshead to Mansfield. This company seemed very efficient in setting up the contract. When the contract eventually began - albeit it was delayed due to tenants not moving out of the house intime and they were very accommodating with this.
They certainly aren't a care company I would expect for my mother, the carers are very young - there was a total lack or correspondence between carers. There seemed to be a massive communication error from the office that was not actually letting the carers know which was not the carers faults at all, when I complained I was told it was because it was a weekend - this should not be an excuse no matter what day it is. Medication was not given and it was a drug error that it was just completely missed. I moved within 4 days elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend at all.

On setting up Carer's visits we hoped to have "wet shave, shower and hair wash" twice a week. Unfortunately we found that a wet shave would not be possible because of use of blade and health and safety issues. The carer who came for the two visits was genuinely a pleasant person and very efficient in
both the job and cleaning up afterwards, but without the shave we felt we could continue with shower and hair wash satisfactorily ourselves and decided to opt out at the present time. Maybe we will need to start again later as and when further needs develope.

The carer's that have looked after my mum have always been kind,professional and approachable.
It was a comfort to me that mum was supported to stay in her flat as long as possible by such a lovely team who often went above and beyond to help her.

My regular term time carer experience is excellent and more efficient as I have been able to identify her strengths. In school hols, the substitute carers are all friendly and respectful. In order to match their strengths with tasks it would be helpful to be told in advance, who is coming, and at what

I have assistance each morning to help get washed, dressed and breakfasted. All the carers are cheerful and ask how I am. I'm always asked if I've taken my medication. We all have a good routine and I'm always asked if there is anything else I would like them to do. Overall a very good continuous experience.

We were very grateful to Bluebird Care for a speedy response when we were given very little notice that the care package from another care provider was coming to an end.
The carers are punctual + treat my mother with kindness and dignity which we really appreciate.
I also appreciate the support &
communication from the office generally on matters relating to my mother's care - for example, I am kept informed when the carers may have had concerns following a visit.
