Bluebird Care Ashford Kent was very responsive to all my mother's needs. They were able to provide a live-in carer as well as home visit carers to support my mother in her declining months. They were very accommodating to a private live-in carer who alternated with the Bluebird carer. The teamwork and work ethic contributed to a reassuring level of care which had to be adapted as circumstances changed. I would (and have) recommended Bluebird to others in need of assistance and quality care.

From the moment I contacted Bluebird, I have felt total confidence in the company's ability to cater for my mother's needs. From the initial meeting and throughout her care, they have adapted to her requirements, with sensitivity and professionalism. It was difficult at first for my mother to accept help, but because all the carers have been so lovely, she has grown to look forward to their visit. The ability to see notes made by the carers on their app is terrific and means I am kept updated on issues.

The team at Bluebird are always friendly and helpful and work to keep my Dad as independent as possible. They were able to put in a temporary care package in place at short notice following an unplanned operation. It is good to know that the team at Bluebird are there for us when things get a little more challenging.

It is tiring having so many different carers and needing to show them around, explain equiment etc.

I am quite happy with the arrangements now in place and don't feel I need anything to be changed. However I believe all carers should be reminded to wear protective gloves when preparing my breakfast and lunch.

Mums dementia rapidly deteriorated to the point that the family was unable to provide the correct support. Bluebird were available at very short notice. Within a few days of first contact they were providing day & night care. They were very good at communicating mums daily situation and willing to adapt the care plan as mums condition progressed. The carers treated mum with dignity and humour. After a few weeks mums fear and disorientation had reduced and her decline slowed. This was entirely due to the care provided by Bluebird. Financing dementia care is always a problem but I found that I was able to have open and honest discussions with Bluebird regarding our ability to sustain the level of care and they provided very helpful advice and options. Bluebird also understood the impact on the whole family not just mum and really helped us through a difficult time. Bluebird allowed the family to plan mums future care by removing a huge amount of stress.

Bluebird have been supporting my father since the earlier part of this year. They have helped him to continue to live independently in his home. We have been very impressed with all of the carers and the support they provide.

Mum is early stages of dementia and since having daily 1hr visits from bluebird carers she has been in much better spirits and she is coping with living independently with much more confidence. Before mum had carers visiting she couldn't really cope when I went on holiday. She had care visits twice a day while I was recently on holiday and she hardly noticed that I wasn't there

Overall, we are very happy with the service, carers and general support and communications.

Bluebird have provided and continue to provide excellent care for my mother. It is reassuring for my mother to know that one of the lovely carers will be in every morning to help her start her day. Everyone is thoughtful and caring, and go above and beyond to make sure my mother is ok.

Mum has had a really good experience with Bluebird Ashford. Carers are all kind and helpful and some are truly outstanding - really making an effort to chat and get to know Mum and Dad, noticing possible issues & putting them right, & being unflappable and practical when problems crop up. Office staff are friendly and responsive, and also do some "hands on" care so they know Mum and her needs first hand.

A notification in advance of the regular time and day to expect my cleaner would be helpful.

Smiling faces of all carers first thing in the morning are particularly welcome to both client and wife! Carers are polite and patient and make all the difference to our days.

I would like to say that changing our care to Ashford Bluebird was the best thing. The carers are pleasant and pro active in my uncles care. I have seen a difference in him. His meals are done and kitchen neat and tidy.he really enjoyed the Christmas party , that the ladies came and collected him from home. This has restored my faith in care. Well done ladies
