My parents were insistent that they were managing ok without help in their home, but when dad had a catheter fitted we had social care in and then friends recommended Bluebird who took over once care ended. Sarah arranged a home visit to assess my parent's needs and I'm not embarrassed to say I cried
with relief when we met her. She is very experienced, straightforward and caring and made a point of getting to know my parents, particularly my dad, to ensure the carers would have a good idea of what was needed/who they were looking after. The carers have been wonderful - I've met 2, and they are lovely, experienced women mainly of a certain age with a good sense of humour, happy to do some chores for mum, good at getting dad to take his meds and drink/eat, stubborn as he is. Also mum enjoys their company and it's part of the plan that if they have time, they sit and chat with my parents too.
It's made our relationship with mum and dad a fun one again, and we're very grateful.

I would like to say that changing our care to Ashford Bluebird was the best thing. The carers are pleasant and pro active in my uncles care. I have seen a difference in him. His meals are done and kitchen neat and tidy.he really enjoyed the Christmas party , that the ladies came and collected him from

Bluebird care have been amazing with my Parents. Both my parents have very different care needs which can be quite challenging. They have really taken time to understand them and have tailored the care around their needs, constantly checking to ensure everything is working well and happy to make adaptions
as the care needs change.
I have been so impressed with level of service given. All the carers are so patient, kind and courteous. They always go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. The support structure in the office is also extremely efficient and well run. They are always on hand should I have any questions or need additional help.
The care notes system also allows me to see updates all the time which I find invaluable as I do not live locally to my parents. The notes are very thorough and informative.
I cannot speak highly enough of Bluebird, they have been a lifeline for me and my parents.

The carers truly care about what they do and regularly go above and beyond to make sure my

5 star service! We as a family cannot fault the care that my Nan is currently receiving. Every carer that has entered by grandparents home have been kind, respectful and so caring. I would highly recommend BlueBird Care.

Been with the team for a while initially as companions but with recent changes in health etc the team have stepped up and offer a personal professional extremely friendly service. Not just the visiting team either. The team at the office are exactly the same. It makes this next stage in my life and

Bluebird staff are all friendly and go out of their way to support my daughter. Any questions are dealt with efficiently and I get a quick response. Out of all the care agencies that we have used this is the best and would recommended to anyone else.

The care we receive from Bluebird has changed all our lives. Our mother is safe, happy and receives the most wonderful care.
All the girls are loving and caring, and treat her with the utmost respect and affection.
They have made a point of getting to know her favourite foods, the routines that she
likes and conversation topics that interest her and she loves them all
Their daily notes are comprehensive and informative and a great help to us.
Whenever there is any difficulty with scheduling etc the management go out of their way to put in place carers who mum knows, as her dementia can cause anxiety in unfamiliar situations. This has even involved carers who do not usually live in volunteering to step in order to maintain continuity for mum, and we have been truly appreciative of this.
My brother and I now have peace of mind, in the knowledge that mum is truly looked after by people she considers as friends.
This has been a truly impressive service

During a recent medical emergency, Bluebird provided extra care at very short notice, later on the same day: an evening companion and someone to stay overnight. Bluebird's friendly responsiveness eased everyone's anxiety and enabled the patient to stay at home rather than go to hospital. All involved
were very grateful.
