One month since the start of this arrangement and it is working well. All the helpers have been helpful and professional in the best possible way. I realise I am independent and there is not a lot they can do for me and this is perhaps frustrating for them! In a few days I shall be 93 and I know that the time will come when I shall need more help but I am trying to defer that for as long as possible and I am being encouraged in that. Each time I look forward to the visits and I will try to find more things for them to do! My sincere thanks again.

It's good to arrive and find the house (and Dad) clean and tidy and be able to focus on Dad rather than have to start cleaning.

The team from Bluebird Care in Plymouth have been looking after my mum for the last few months and we can happily say the experience has been excellent. From my first telephone enquiry onwards everyone has been kind, professional, listened carefully to our requirements and always responded in a considerate fashion without being pushy in any way. Your staff are always punctual, cheerful & helpful. They help me with domestic duties to enable me to spend more time with my husband & to try to take him out daily which we can still do at the moment. They always have a nice chat with him & this is perfect for when the time comes that he may need more help in the future

My mother needed carers at home before moving to a residential home. This was her first experience of needing care, after being very independent. Each of the Bluebird carers was friendly and caring and treated her with respect. Because of this she settled well and was happy with their care . I'd very happily recommend Bluebird.

I would not recommend Bluebird Care to support anyone with dementia related illnesses as from what we experienced as a family, caused many problems and upset.

I am very pleased with Bluebird's care. The carers arrive on time and stay up to 30/40 mins. Some carers talk with me about daily news and family. Other are very taciturn especially 2 of the girls. All carers wear uniform. I tease some who come who display "Bluebird" on black tops and trousers. I would like visits from physiotherapists to help me to walk.

We are extremely pleased with the care that Mum is recieving. The three ladies that visit here are very patient and understanding. We would certainly recommend Bluebird Care to other people in our situation.

Over the past months we have experienced very professional carers for whom nothing is too much trouble. The level of communication with my husband, from each carer, is second to none. Friendly attitudes, helpful suggestions, non judgmental personal care, all in the mornings when the carers are most under pressure. We are very happy with the level of care provided.

My mother has now been with BBC for several years. The level of service is excellent with my mother having built up a strong and beneficial set of relationships with all the carers that visit her 3 times a day. BBC not only delivers the highest level of care to my mother but always keep me informed with any concerns they may have concerning her welfare. Their daily online reporting system completed every day is a real help in keeping tabs on how well my mother is doing and again for raising any concerns. I would highly recomend BBC.
