My brother had a catastrophic stroke in 2012 but with the care of the NHS and his own determination he recovered relatively well. After leaving various hospitals and a lovely nursing home in Notting Hill Gate, he returned to his own flat. This is when Bluebird were contacted for help.
Bluebird
are a remarkable company. Their care, patience and skill is second to none. I live in Devon and do not get to see my brother as much as I would love to but with Bluebird taking care of him, I know that he is being very well cared for. I cannot recommend Bluebird Care enough and thank them for everything they do.

I am extremely grateful to and highly recommend Bluebird Lewisham & Southwark management and carers for stepping into the breach late in the day Thursday afternoon before the bank holiday Easter Weekend.
We had an unexpected emergency with my elderly 90 year old mother and were keen to keep her out
of hospital, by supporting her at home. I contacted Bluebird (she has a Bluebird carer weekly) who organised carers to go into my mother twice daily to support her with her personal care whilst she was incapacitated, report back to me if she had taken her medications and any other concerns and visits from the District Nurse. They also provided my mother with reassurance and companionship in between family visiting over the long bank holiday weekend - I cannot emphasize the importance of this
The carers, like management, were caring, supportive, reassuring, kind and professional. It is so reassuring to know that Bluebird provide an excellent care service and our family are so very grateful

My husband has been using Bluebird for two and a half years now. I can only praise the care he has continually been given. All the carers he has had have been attentive to his needs, and have been kind,
courteous and understanding. All of them are pleasant to be with, and that makes being with them
a
pleasure, and makes my husband feel at ease.
One can recognise that all the carers have been well trained. We also find it is a pleasure to meet up occasionally with the supervisor, who comes to visit. In this way we can relate to her any concerns
should they arise - although to date there have been none

I am the carer for my 84 year old husband who has Parkinson's Disease and also has a catheter.
Six months ago I knew I needed some help and luckily I found Bluebird Care. I really like the fact that it is very local, and everyone in the office is approachable, friendly and very supportive.
Our carers
are lovely, always cheerful, and so kind and helpful, it has definitely made a difference to both of us. I also value the continuity of carers, which I think is very important.
We really look forward to seeing them, and their morning visits leave us with a positive outlook for the rest of the day.

Finding the service very helpful, knowing that he will see somebody every day is very reassuring for his family. He seems very happy with all his carers and we have noticed he brightens up when they arrive. We are very happy with everything so far.

During February, our family required additional support on top of my father's normal care plan following my mother's surgery, and I was also recovering from surgery myself. This created a particularly challenging period for us, but the Manager provided invaluable assistance by proactively exploring
options to help us manage the situation. Their responsiveness and willingness to support us during such a stressful time was truly appreciated.
When we transitioned to a live-in care arrangement for eight weeks, the initial carer was not the right fit for our family's needs. However, the Manager responded quickly, visiting us in person to understand our concerns and ensure both my mother and father were properly supported. As a result, we were assigned a new carer who was far better suited, bringing much-needed reassurance and stability.

Bluebird have been coming over the last 6 months to help my husband who is increasingly disabled. They are so well trained and pleasant to have coming here - not only do they do everything to help my husband but when there's time they do some ironing to help me as well. Thank you Bluebirds.

Trust, trusting, trustworthy... Bluebird (Twickenham) have, via their wonderful carers allowed us to have trust in them, be trusting of their abilities and know that, they are all trustworthy. Now that should be enough but, Maria, Jisna, Lourdina, Joyce, Dinushi, Ramona, Kanan, Naz, Kate, Kamala, Nana,
Tunde, Sheela, Chizoba, Soumya and Shimrandeep (and probably a few others I can't recall) have all been so caring and kind to my Mum and have enabled us to keep Mum at home for which I will always be so grateful. The saying goes 'be grateful for the time you have with your parents' but, we are also thankful for the time my parent has with Bluebird. They have also helped enormously in providing information on care that you just wouldn't know as a lay-carer for a loved one. So glad we chose them. Thank you. John.

We have used Bluebird for the last 3 months, initially three times a day and now twice. There is a consistent group of Carers visiting who spend time getting to know my Mother, preparing really good meals, light household duties, personal care, medication prompts and above all enabling a successful
transition from hospital via respite care, back home. Every single person is excellent, prompt, friendly, efficient and kind. It feels very much a team effort and the help and support from the main office staff is also wonderful. We have access to the mutually drawn-up care plan, the rota and post-visit notes via the app all of which helps me enormously and to know that my Mother is safe and well. There is a pro-active and can-do attitude throughout the whole organisation with quick and easy communications. I can not recommend the team more highly.
