really important is that mum likes each and every carer who visits and she enjoys their company. They prompt her to carry out tasks to allow her to remain in her own home. They've recently started to cook an evening meal for mum which is a huge help.

The most important point for me was how they took both Mum and the whole family into their care, they made a firm bond with Mum and she was adopted into their "family", at the same time we felt very included in their care too. One particular incident where I was struggling to handle Mum's dementia, their support was completely invaluable. On another occasion when I was some 160 miles away and Mum had a fall, a quick phone call to Bluebird and someone was with her to stay once the medical support had been and gone. Five stars is not enough to express our gratitude for their professionalism, care and compassion.

doing, initially asking what we thought would be a good starting point and then working with Mum and myself to adapt the care and help to support Mum's specific needs. The big strengths of all the team are their focus on Mum's needs, her safety and her choices/decisions about her care. When needs changed they communicated with the family quickly and calmly, making suggestions about what could be done and this also happened during times of concern. The team was completely reliable, always visited as planned and when Mum's needs increased they were able to step up with additional visits immediately. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
