Having tried several other care support companies, Bluebird Chesterfield was recommended by a friend and from the outset has taken time to understand my mother's needs and preferences.
One key need is consistency of care staff which Bluebird has tried their utmost to fulfil. This has given essential
stability to the care routine and been an absolute blessing to us in caring for our loved ones.

The carers have been punctual, cheerful and helpful. They are respectful and patient with the person who needs care. Only suggestion is less number of different pcarers per client so that you get to know the carers better.

I am delighted with the care Mum receives from Bluebird Care but more importantly Mum is happy and she tells me the carers are all friendly, helpful and kind.
The care notes are extremely valuable to me both to read what the carers have put and for me to pass on any information.
Two members of
staff, in particular, are easy to contact and friendly and helpful.
I wholeheartedly recommend Bluebird to anyone seeking care for a loved one.

My mother received excellent care in her home from Bluebird Care from January 2023 until her recent move into residential care. I cannot recommend Bluebird enough - their carers are extremely helpful and proactive in seeking to improve and personalise the service they offer. Bluebird's service was instrumental
in enabling my mum to live at home for longer than she might otherwise have been able to do. The service is extremely professionally run and very flexible in responding to increased care needs when we were away on holiday.

The carers from Bluebird Care are very professional in checking and recording information about mum so as a family we know exactly what happens at each and every visit. The app is great and easy to use. The office staff are responsive and thorough around care plans and changing information. What is
really important is that mum likes each and every carer who visits and she enjoys their company. They prompt her to carry out tasks to allow her to remain in her own home. They've recently started to cook an evening meal for mum which is a huge help.

I have received excellent care from Bluebird Care over the past two months or so as a short-term customer. The care was designed to help me in my later stages of rehabilitation after a longish spell in hospital. All the staff that I encountered were very attentive to my particular needs.

We arranged a trial of live-in care when my father's needs increased and his granddaughter and her partner, who had been living with him, needed to move away. Bluebird Care were very helpful in providing suitable, experienced carers with little delay so that we could give this a realistic trial. Everything
went well. In the end, we have decided a residential home is a better choice for him. It was definitely worth having had the experience to help us make the choice and I think, for many people, the final decision would have gone the other way.

My mum has been using Bluebird Care for a few months now and they have been amazing.
My mum was very reluctant to have anyone in the house but she has always felt at ease, from day one, with all the carers that go over.
They have been able to adapt quickly to Mum's changing needs, which has been
really helpful.

The home care that my mum receives every day 7 days a week is outstanding from Bluebird. All the carers are brilliant, they always show my mum & me total respect & care and they are always well-mannered & they are always positive & happy doing their caring work. They all a total credit to Bluebird Care
& also all the staff including their directors are always polite, well-mannered & always have the time & care to listen to me especially when my mum's medication & needs change.

We connected with Bluebird Care in November 2023 and they quickly established a plan of home care visits for Mum. They were responsive to changes in needs, contact was made if there were any concerns picked up by the carers and they were very easy to contact at any time. We were kept informed of any
changes in timing or staff attending, and had a weekly timetable provided. The most important point for me was how they took both Mum and the whole family into their care, they made a firm bond with Mum and she was adopted into their "family", at the same time we felt very included in their care too. One particular incident where I was struggling to handle Mum's dementia, their support was completely invaluable. On another occasion when I was some 160 miles away and Mum had a fall, a quick phone call to Bluebird and someone was with her to stay once the medical support had been and gone. Five stars is not enough to express our gratitude for their professionalism, care and compassion.

Bluebird Care have provided domiciliary care for my mum over the last year, this is the first time Mum has needed any care and we were really anxious about where to go and didn't really know what it was Mum even needed from the carers.
Right from the start, I felt the team knew exactly what they were
doing, initially asking what we thought would be a good starting point and then working with Mum and myself to adapt the care and help to support Mum's specific needs. The big strengths of all the team are their focus on Mum's needs, her safety and her choices/decisions about her care. When needs changed they communicated with the family quickly and calmly, making suggestions about what could be done and this also happened during times of concern. The team was completely reliable, always visited as planned and when Mum's needs increased they were able to step up with additional visits immediately. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

My aunty had great care from Bluebird Care Derbyshire Dales & Amber Valley who came in every day to give her full-time carer a break. The service was professional and friendly and any issues were sorted out in a timely manner. Many of the carers forged great relationships with the manager and I felt
it was a service we could trust.

My mother is more than happy with the care and support she receives from Bluebird Care, Derbyshire Dales & Amber Valley. The carers are very obliging and professional at all times.
Everyone in the office has been very helpful and if we have had to change appointment times they are always more than
willing to do this.
