Bluebird Care Rochdale have looked after my grandma with dementia for years and we can't thank them enough. Their fantastic care has helped her stay in her own home, which means everything to her and to us.


She was very against having carers at first, but the team have been so patient, kind and consistent.

Over time they've built genuine relationships with her and it's been amazing to see the change.


The daily updates on the portal are very reassuring, especially when we can't always be there in person. Knowing what's been done and how she's been each day helps to put our minds at ease.


The team's dementia care advice and support has been invaluable too, helping us to solve problems along the way. Without their support, my grandma would almost certainly have had to move into a care home by now. Thank you to everyone at Bluebird Care Rochdale.

Bluebird Care have been supporting my mother since last summer. They are caring and reliable. Both the staff and the management team are very flexible in their approach - which gives me added confidence knowing that whatever unexpected surprises there are it will be manageable between us. Having visits
from the same carers also ensures that my mother feels comfortable and reassured as everyone knows the routine. Engaging home care is a big step for everyone - the initial visit and conversation to understand exactly what we wanted was incredibly helpful - he explained that care was tailored to what we wanted rather than 'planned offer'. I can confidently recommend Bluebird Care

My Aunt has been receiving care from the Bluebirds for two years. I never fail to be impressed with just how kind and compassionate every member of the care team is and how they treat my aunt with dignity and respect at all times. Despite her needs changing from week to week, month to month everyone
has bent over backwards to accommodate her, sometimes at very short notice without complaint.
I cannot recommend Bluebird care highly enough.

We brought the team in for mum and dad for a trial run in January, as mum's health condition meant some extra support was needed at home to give dad some time and space.
Whilst we were trialling the service, we experienced outstanding support, care and communication from the Bluebird Rochdale team,
who had a good understanding of our situation and what was needed.
In the end we decided to pause for the time being, as mum felt it was still not necessary, and possibly a little too early. However we now know where to come for amazing care at home, when the inevitable changes will come and mum and dad will again be in need of more help.

A reliable and caring service. Extra requests for Carer assistance have always been provided. Pleasantly.
Carers are efficient and well trained. In my experience they meet a range of needs, are friendly and courteous.

We have had a variety of carers over our first two weeks with Bluebird. They have all been lovely & have taken good care of my husband in the mornings when they get him up, washed & dressed & help him from bedroom to bathroom & then to the lounge where he has his special chair. Similarly the reverse
happens in the evenings. Bluebird don't come cheap but from our first experiences, they are worth it

Great care for my 92 year old aunt with failing memory. I am the closest relative but live over an hour distant. We wanted to provide her with the reassurance that all was well with her and that the basics (food, shopping, laundry) were covered and also that she had another friendly face to see between
my fortnightly visits. The Bluebird Team were super at listening to my aunt and helping her make the transition to having carers easy. This is allowing her to live independently rather than in residential care. Thank you.

My mum has recently started to have a daily visit from a carer with Bluebird. She has been very complementary of the ladies who call to see her and has been very happy to see them. I was worried at first if mum would accept the carers but she is really enjoying their company which has put my mind at

I have a dear friend who is in a wonderful care home in Manchester and I live 100+miles away on Anglesey North Wales. I hold PoA and I am her RPR. Although we speak on the telephone everyday i am not able to visit her as much as I would like to.
When I lived in Manchester we would spend time together
visiting interesting places, cafes, shopping etc.
After contacting several Care Agencies I was unsuccessful in obtaining help on finding someone to fill in the void of what we used to do together, but when I contacted Bluebird Care all I can say is WOW!
Salma and her Care Team has put a package together which has solved all our problems my friend and I were experiencing.
We now have a Carer who we consider as family. She is able to do the things that my friend and I used to do together. We have lots more things to take about on the phone. I can't thank Bluebird enough.

My partner was very reluctant to have a Carer come into our Home but as soon as the Service started he was delighted with his allocated Carer. He looks forward to her coming each week and is more than happy to tell family and friends how she treats him with dignity and respect. He also really appreciates
the extra tasks that she will volunteer to do if she sees something that needs doing. This helps take some of the load off me and I really value how she goes about her role.

Bluebird care took over my mums caring needs when her dementia accelerated to the point I couldn't continue to care for her on my own. I was so worried about taking this service on for her but my worries were unfounded after I'd spoke to Beryl and John. They made sure the minimum staff would care for
mum thus reducing her anxiety of strange faces. The staff they have are caring understanding and nothing is too much trouble and always going that extra yard to ensure mums care and safety was priority. They would take mum on shopping trips when the weather permitted. But the fact I didn't worry once when they were there made my life less stressful while I was working. Unfortunately mums health deteriorated so much the only option was for her to go into 24 hr care. But it has to said without them and their team of excellent staff my mum would not of had the length of time at home that we all wanted.

They have been absolute lifesaver, we were so worried about going to a care provider but John, Beryl and the team have been absolutely amazing. My nan is receiving such good care and its taken a huge strain

Bluebird Care Rochdale have been absolutely fantastic! They support my nana, who has dementia, and the care they provide is truly personal and thoughtful. I mainly use them to take her out, and she always has the best time - whether it's a drive out or enjoying a coffee somewhere nice. On days when
she doesn't feel up for going out, they spend time with her looking through old photos and helping her reminisce, which she really enjoys.


Communication is brilliant too - I can easily see all their notes from each visit on the system, which gives me real peace of mind. They've also stepped in to help when her other carers weren't available, without any fuss, and I'm so grateful for that flexibility.


I would definitely recommend Bluebird Care Rochdale to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and genuinely caring support for their loved ones.
