After my 84 year old dad's long hospital stay and major surgery, he needed support at home for the first time. Choosing Homecare was the best decision we could have made.
Every carer was polite, professional and genuinely kind. They made dad feel safe and comfortable while always preserving his dignity,
which meant so much to him.
We're incredibly grateful for the care and reassurance they've given our family and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Switched to Bluebird from an appalling different care company so I can judge easily how amazing bluebird are. Excellent carers all kind chatty helpful and engaging. Not only are they all English speaking which is easier for my deaf mother to understand but they are in uniform which does make a difference.
They use their initiative and slip in quietly and efficiently. They look tidy and professional as they are. The administration team who are equally important in.my past experience are 1st class. Small team in same town as we live. Answer phones and e mails and very helpful. Cannot rate highly enough.
Thankyou my 97 year old mum always saying how lovely they are.

We could not ask for anything more. The way the carers look after their clients is second to none. The whole team which includes management & office staff are fantastic. They always go above & beyond what I would have expected from a service such as this. 100% confidence in recommending them.

We have been with Bluebird Care for 2 weeks now and couldn't be happier.
Our father has Alzheimer's and requires a hoist to move between the bed and chair.
Sarah and her team from the High Wycombe & Slough branch have been excellent- kind, caring and very professional.
Nothing is too much trouble
for any of them and they regularly make positive suggestions to improve the situation.
The automatic notes and weekly schedules are also very useful.
Thank you for making our parents lives so much easier at this difficult time

We have only been with this service for three weeks and so far everything is good. Carers are very nice. Lile having the same carers as that helps my husband knowing who is coming to help him.

It was my first time leaving my Mum with Carers and I felt so at ease. The peace of mind was priceless. The team at Bluebird made everything so straight forward for Mum and I. Mum had such great care for the 7 days whilst I was away and I will certainly contact Bluebird again.

I have been delighted with the help received from Bluebird Care. Without exception the carers who came were lovely. They were helpful, cheerful and happy to do what was asked of them.
At the initial meeting all the information I needed was explained. Arrangements were very flexible and easily changed.
It was good to be able to speak with a real person each time I needed to phone. I was kept informed in good time of who the carers would be and the time at which they would come.
Our daughters arranged the care for my husband and myself while I was in hospital. I was my husband's carer and it was not known how much I would be able to do when I returned home. As it happened I was able to do more than expected and so we only had Bluebird about two months. I would not hesitate to ask for help from them again in the future if necessary.

Bluebird Care have been an absolute lifeline for me. They support my mum, who has Alzheimer's, by picking her up and taking her to a local club, sometimes out shopping, and bringing her home again. The service is wonderfully friendly and non-clinical - my mum doesn't even realise she's being cared for,
which is perfect for her dignity and independence.
Her carer is consistently patient, kind, and professional. It's clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with my mum, and that warmth makes all the difference. From the very first assessment through to the ongoing care, everything has been smooth, reassuring, and straightforward. I feel so supported and confident knowing my mum is in such good hands. I am just about to add some more care the the package already in place and will increase the care as time goes on. Thank you, Bluebird Care - you've given me peace of mind and made a real difference to our lives.

I needed a cataract operation which prohibited me from bending and lifting for a period of several weeks. Despite relatively short notice, Bluebird provided a live-in carer for a period of two weeks which helped us enormously. the carer was very sensitive and kind and managed the relationship with
both of us perfectly. We were also impressed that a spot check was carried out during the period to ensure that all was well. Afterwards we resumed out normal daily morning helpmate with our usual team of carers, all of whom are very helpful, kind and understanding of our issues.
The Bluebird office stays in touch and we have access online to the schedule of care visits and the carers who will carry them out and also access to the daily notes they report on their visits.
We are impressed with the level of service and the flexibility that Bluebird displays when plans have to be changed at short notice.

Bluebird provided care for my stepmother for four years, from when my father moved to nursing care. She had relied on him due to deteriorating memory. She wasn't aware she needed assistance and was reluctant to have carers as she wanted to be independent. Bluebird provided a small group of consistent
staff and were always reliable. She accepted the visits as she liked them all so much. The care increased over time, eventually to live in.
Throughout the four years I could always trust that Bluebird carers would be reliable, trustworthy and caring. The office staff were always responsive and informed me of any concerns or changes. We could discuss any issues and look for a way forward. It was challenging looking after someone in the late stages of dementia, especially for the live in carers, but they always showed such patience and kindness, often in difficult circumstances.
I'm very grateful to all the staff, thank you.

Bluebird Care have provided an excellent service with care visits, and then live-in care, for our 96-year old mother. We would highly recommend them. The carers have been efficient, caring, and a pleasure for Mum and close members of her family to deal with. They have been responsive to her requests,
and have good practical experience.
The supervisory team have been extremely efficient, and quick to respond to ad hoc requests for care changes and visit times for example. The systems work really well - the carers complete notes online after visits which are invaluable for keeping close family up to date with any issues.

My dad had a stroke in January 2024 and came home from hospital in March 2024 with extremely complex needs. Bluebird were brilliant right from the initial meeting, the carers were so kind and considerate, not only to my dad, but to the whole family. They looked after him so well for just over a year
until he sadly passed away in April. My dad was treated with care and dignity at all times. The Office Staff were really supportive to us all and helped us get through this difficult year. We are extremely grateful to Bluebird Care and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Mum has morning calls to help with personal care and really looks forward to her carer turning up. When Mum sees her arrive she waves her hands and has a big smile on her face.
Her carer brings warmth and kindness, along with a big heart full of happiness when she cares for my Mum. We are truly grateful
as it gives me a little reprieve and ensures Mum's needs are fully met.
We also benefit from the live-in carer package a few times a year, which is wonderful. As a family we get to spend time together and have some respite whilst Mum has a break from us! Mum is thoroughly spoilt with the attention she receives from two staff members in particular.
When we first contacted Bluebird Care we received clear communication and details on what they could offer. We have always felt listened to and our situation and the needs of the family understood. Another staff member is approachable and always returns messages. The care has always been provided regardless of sick leave and annual leave.
We would recommend Bluebird care.
