Carers very good, kind and helpful. They care for my husband very well indeed.
My only problem is with timing of visits. I like to keep a regular routine but timings can vary by up to two hours within the same week.

I have asked to have appointments stabilised but without success.

The care that I have received has been generally very good.
The staff accomodate my wishes and are always interested to listen and to take with me.

Occasionally there have been problems with the timing.

Overall Experience

Bluebird Care have been integral in us being able to help mum stay as independant as possible. From the care supervisors/co-ordinators to the actual carers visiting at home everyone has been great. Approachable, accomodating and compassionate. But above all caring, would highly recommend.

Overall Experience
I am very pleased with all my carers and the care they provide. However, my only complaint is that when the times of my care are changed I am usually not informed, which can be very stressfull.

I would also like to have carers that I know beforehand - which is usually the case.

Overall Experience

My mother has carers 3 times a week in the mornings. The carers are very polite, capable, friendly and professional. They make sure that she has taken her medication nd will assist in showering, dressing making a cup of tea or anything that is required. It has been a battle to get my mother to accept carers help but due to the carers being very friendly she has accepted it. I'm happy that as time goes on and mum requires more assistance that we will increase the service but this is only due to the carers being so good. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Sadly management has changed over the last 9 months and the quality of the agency has significantly deteriorated. I don't feel the partnership that used to be there between management/carers/customers - I'm not known to the management now and no efforts have been made towards this, requests for reviews/contact have been ignored, and that happy dialogue between all parties that had worked for so many years isn't there anymore.

The carers on the ground cannot be faulted, they are doing a great job despite all this. We are incredibly lucky to have such a good set of carers who can keep the care up to a reasonable standard even without the support they deserve. Because of this, I hope that things improve again in the future, it's not all lost!

Overall Experience

Bluebird were amazing, the care both mum and dad were given was exceptional, especially dad. They enabled Bridget and myself to follow Dad's wishes to remain in his home; the care and attention he was given was incredible. The girls all treated him so kindly and were able to give us peace of mind. Bluebird were able to give advice and reassurance, and worked with the hospice in the last couple of months together. Thank you to everyone who helped us.

Despite the client being stubborn and rather reticent about accepting help Bluebird met his wishes with respect and friendship enabling him to end his days in the comfort of his own home doing what he wanted.

Overall Experience
The person cared for was a personal friend for over 50 years. Until she was 87 she was able to look after herself even though she developed Macular degeneration from 2020. In February 2023 she spent a week in hospital & needed regular daily support.

Bluebird Care were excellent & visited regularly 3 times a day. Many were seen as good friends & very supportive. The person cared for died on the 1st January 2025 at 99.

Overall Experience
I first came across Bluebird in December '24, after I was just out of hospital, being treated for a rare and debilitating skin condition. The hospital had started my treatment and my daughter chose Bluebird, on personal recommendation, to continue it.
Bluebird provided a live-in carer, who helped me to wash and dress, and managed all aspects of my recovery. She ran the house, including cooking, cleaning, liaised with my doctors, the hospital, ordered my prescriptions and helped me to exercise.After a 10 day stint, she was replaced by one of her colleagues. We ran this way for a period of 4.months, after which we reduced the care to mornings only.

At all times, I found the Bluebird carers to be friendly, knowledgable and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending the Company to others.

Bluebird Care stepped in at very short notice to provide care for my grandmother. The organisation and communication from the office staff was excellent. The staff that visited my relative were so friendly and efficient and my grandmother looked forward very much to their visits.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to leave a 5 Star review for Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden.
So where do I start ? there are just so many excellent points to include and I only have 1,000 characters !
To begin with, the staff.
The lady has been with us right from the start in March 2023. She went to see mum and then discussed her requirements with mum and with the family. The care plan that she produced for our mum was nothing short of brilliant. Mum has one visit each week and the carer makes sure that Mum is fine and has everything she needs and then sorts out the house management, washing, ironing and cleaning.
Mum (and the family) could not be more delighted with our caring carers at Bluebird and, as mum always says, my bluebird visit is one of the highlights of my week and I really look forward to seeing my bluebird friends.

So, to the carer and all of the staff at Bluebird Care Eastbourne and Wealden, thank you so very much for everything that you all do for mum.

We found the Bluebird ladies to be so kind gentle and thorough in the care of my partner. Three times daily they came in to wash, change and help him. He looked forward to their visits as they were always cheerful and mindful of his problems. We came to look on them all as friends. I will be forever grateful to them for assisting him so kindly.

Bluebird have been fantastic, offering care and patience for my mother they have been excellent. They were there by her side when she has no one else, supporting her all the time. The kindness and professionalism that Bluebird offer is fantastic. They have been a font of knowledge and support for me and my family when discussions have had to be made. Bluebird carers are great for my husband. Treat him with great care and with humour too, which he does appreciate. They are very efficient but good at handling a very difficult situation should the occasion occur. My husbands mobility is very limited but our Bluebirds manage this problem "in their stride".
