Overall Experience

I've used Bluebird Care for almost 5 years. They looked after my husband before he sadly left us. They supported me so much throughout. The office staff organised my care quickly and professionally when I became poorly. I have a good relationship with all the carers. I've never come across a carer I didn't like. Their work is neat, tidy and competent. I also really liked the live-in carer they provided temporarily, whilst I recovered. I recommend Bluebird Care to lots of people.

Overall Experience

I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service and care provided by Bluebird. The carers are always punctual, polite and professional. They provide excellent care and company for my 94 year old mum, who feels completely safe with them and looks forward to seeing them. I would highly recommend Bluebird to other family members and friends looking for carers.

Bluebird have done a fantastic job in helping to support my 94 year old father for the past few months. We originally engaged with Bluebird just for help when we are on holiday, but soon after Dad unfortunately caught the flu, followed by another infection, resulting in two hospital stays.
Bluebird immediately stepped up to provide extra care to help Dad resettle at home on both occasions. They provide an excellent support system in making sure that Dad is up and dressed, the house is clean and tidy and he has his lunch ready before they leave. Also on days where Dad is feeling well, they use the visit to take him to a local garden centre for a coffee, as it is great for him to get out when he can.

I have also been impressed by how flexible Bluebird have been when we have requested to either increase or decrease visits.

Overall Experience

In general I have been happy with the care and support that I have recieved. There have been some communication difficulties on occasion, not helped because I can be hard of hearing. My present carer went 'over and above' when she was looking after my husband during the final phase of his illness.

My mother in law who is over 100yrs old has had bluebird since leaving hospital 6 months ago she and we are very impressed and happy with her carers. Her wish was to be home again and bluebird made this possible, she likes them all, and knows them all by first name. There is continuity of care where ever possible.They are all very friendly, caring and supportive. Mother is immobile now but with correct equipment used with 1 carer to move her around.
Care is 4 visits a day and nothing is overlooked. Using a secure app and what's app keeps us updated at all times and nothing is too much trouble for bluebird. Instant communication via secure WhatsApp and any action required to resolve issues can be taken quickly.

As a retired NHS matron I would recommend this agency, who work tirelessly to maintain high standards of care in the clients home.

My family has used Bluebird for over 3 years, initially for live in care for parents, and since October 2024 for twice daily visits for my mother.
I have found the office team helpful and responsive. Over the last few months continuity of carers has improved significantly which has had a positive impact on my mother's well being. Whilst we do understand that staffing changes are sometimes unavoidable, having a regular and familiar care team has been valuable for her and makes such a difference.

The carers who visit regularly are professional, and have a lovely attitude and understanding of how to provide supportive care in the home.

I have a "very caring" live in Carer. He is very attentive to my needs. He is always on hand when I call him.
He assists me with my toileting and showering and prepares three meals a day for me; breakfast, lunch and dinner. He also washes my bed clothes and personal clothes. He is meticulous in ensuring my personal hygiene and that of the kitchen and my bedroom and its en-suite toilet and bathroom.
He accompanies me and my cleaning lady or son on my daily walks and to Church every Sunday. He also supervises the daily exercises prescribed by my physiotherapist.

My Carer has become a personal friend and we share interesting conversation together.

I can't recommend Bluebird care enough. My mum came home from hospital and they have provided care twice a day for a month now. Mum loves the ladies who are kind compassionate and supportive of her needs.

Bluebird Care was recommended to me by a friend who had used them in the past .
My mother basically became bed bound and we needed to get immediate care for her .
I called you and a representative came out in less than an hour . Mum was assessed and a profile bed etc was ordered so that care could be carried out .
We have 2 main carers who are absolutely fantastic with her, who i feel go above and beyond what i thought good care was .

Maria and the team at Bluebird Care were extremely helpful and a delight to work with, providing daily visits for my Mother which then escalated to a Live in Carer. Very professional and considerate.

I have been very impressed with the quality of care and communication that as a family we have received from Bluebird Care. Every carer has been so kind, compassionate and understanding to my mum's needs. Our manager Lynsey has been incredible and supported the decisions we have needed to make, both with kindness and in a timely way. The care that my father has received has been excellent. When he first came out of hospital they made sure they put him at ease so straight away he felt secure. I can't speak highly enough as that made my life much easier knowing dad was in capable hands.

Overall Experience

Returning from hospital after a complete mental and physical breakdown - caused mainly by my wife's agressive dementia in our house in Hampton, Middlesex, I arrived at my faughters' house in Ripley in a state of total confusion, with the help of Guildford Bluebird Care, and my two daughters, I am now recovering well, and able to cope with minimum assistance. I continue to improve my self-confidence and ability.

My mother developed rapidly deteriorating Dementia managing this situation you feel very alone when searching solutions to support and ensure their dignity and wishes in my mother's case to remain in her home. I reached out to Bluebird who immediately came to visit us and gently communicated with my mother in helping her to understand what care plan could be provided trying their best to include her wishes. The carers had a very challenging job but they were honestly excellent in handling and caring what I appreciated most was the constant daily communication with the team. In July her conditions became very serious I don't know what I would have done without their advice as they were put in a position to manage an end of life situation. Their experience saw them reach out to doctors and paramedics to ensure my mother's comfort before she passed away. I can only thank them and show gratitude for everything and for continuing to stay in touch with kindness and caring for the family.
