The carers are always thoughtful in their approach to my wife, who was until recently sometimes very difficult to please. The most regular ones may even have formed a sort of bond with her, though her severe short-term memory loss may not make that a realistic hope. Their speedy reporting on-line is very helpful, and often reassuring, to me. And recently, the office admin has become reliably efficient and helpful.

I had the opportunity to meet with one of the Helping Hands staff during a visit to my mother. Such a nice person who was very happy to chat with me and update me on my mother's needs and their activities during her regular visits. My mother is very happy with all the staff who visit her, not only doing a few chores around the house, but spending time chatting and socialising. This is a fantastic help to her and a great reassurance to me and my wife as we live abroad.

Our mother has care visits three or four times a day at times to suit her needs. The carers are friendly, professional and treat our mother with dignity at all times. Mum likes her carers which is so important and she looks forward to the visits.
We have found communication with the office and management team is very efficient and any queries we have had are responded to promptly.

If a carer has a concern during a care visit they inform the office who then contact us which is very reassuring to know.

My Mother has been receiving care from Helping Hands (Bury St Edmunds branch) for about 9 months now. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking care for themselves or a loved one. The office team are helpful and responsive, nothing is too much trouble. I am kept informed of anything I need to be aware of. The visiting carers are kind, helpful and professional. They are always prompt for time so Mum is never worried about whether someone is coming to see her. All in all, we've had a positive experience with Helping Hands.

I am very pleased with the regular care which is provided. I can feel confident going out, knowing that my husband is being well looked after. Our regular carer is very kind and efficient and, in addition to caring for my husband, she looks around to see what household chores need to be done.

When extra hours are needed, this has been arranged very efficiently and smoothly. The office staff are always very helpful.

The whole team at Homecare have been absolutely outstanding. I called from hospital in desperation and in need of immediate care for my Mother and the Care Coordinator came the same day and a carer was immediately put in place. Everyone has been so kind, compassionate, respectful and understanding. I was very nervous about buying care services, having heard lots of negative stories but Homecare have provided us with a Gold Standard service that I could never have imagined. I am so very grateful and honestly feel that they saved me, my Mum and our family at a time when we simply couldn't cope any longer. Now we feel reassured and hopeful about the future.

Since Helping Hands have been 'popping in' to spend time with my mother, I have noticed an improvement in her mood as she now prepares herself each day for her visit from friendly staff. I still worry for my mother who lives on her own and is 90 miles from me but I feel comforted knowing she has regular contact with caring staff.

Helping Hands have been a welcome addition to my father and it's been lovely to know that we have some to check on him first thing in the morning and afternoon especially as I don't live locally.

He enjoys their company and loves the mixture of carers that come to visit him.

Mum has been with Helpimg Hands now for quite a few years and has always been happy with her Carer's.
The Carer's are so kind and helpful and reliable and make mums day, often making her laugh. I feel confident every day that mum will be looked after well which is wonderful and puts my mind at rest.

The office staff are great, every time I ring to ask for something they are very helpful and sort things out promptly.

Helping Hands has looked after my father for many years. Although Dad has recently gone into a home, Helping Hands has continued to support us during the house sale. We cannot praise them highly enough, particularly one member of staff in particular who has shown exemplary care and support for Dad over the years. Helping Hands has provided a first class, professional service being reactive, helpful and reliable. We couldn't have managed without them and recommend their services without hesitation.

I have been very happy with the care provided by all of the carers for my mum, some are more proactive in identifying things that need to be done and a couple not so. They are always polite and respectful. My mum is pleased with the staff who come to her home. Some could offer to get some local shopping if the fridge is looking a bit empty (which is not very often) and get some fresh vegetables, but also they could check to see if there's any out of date foodstuffs and dispose of them after checking with mum. Staff are very prompt generally and always seem to be cheerful.

The office staff are also very helpful, and accommodating when I have had a need to contact them.

The carers are kind, respectful, reliable and do a great job! Thank you
Times can be a little astray but with traffic, roadworks and the recent heat this is not surprising.

Whenever we have requested extra support for hospital appointments, the carers have been an enormous help: we are very grateful.

I received good advice at the outset. We have a sitting service for three hours once per week. The staff members always arrive on time and are tidily dressed in a uniform. My wife is comfortable in their presence and always appears happy upon my return at the end of the visit.

Helping Hands have been caring for my 98 year old father for just over two years. Two particular carers (father and daughter team) visit my father every week day morning and help to set him up for the day. They are unfailingly supportive, attentive and good humoured. They have a built a real rapport with my Dad and he really looks forward to seeing them. My family and I cannot speak highly enough of them.

My mother is very happy with all the girls she gets in the mornings. They are all lovely. My only criticism would be that the bin in the bathroom is not always emptied when necessary and a quick clean of the loo would be much appreciated. Also if time allows, a quick hoover round her floor would be good. Some girls do these things, but it would be fabulous if everyone did.
