Kelly was very kind and efficient and went the extra mile.
The carers sent have been mainly excellent and I would like to recommend Holly, Kaitlin and Carolyn. They were very helpful, got the job done and also helped me with companionship to help me to get back on my feet.

I have been using Helping Hands for mum for nearly 18 months. They have always been reliable. All the carers have been really nice and friendly. If they have been concerned about anything they always got in touch with me, even if they were running late. They would always date and label food that was
being defrosted for the following day in the fridge, and write on a notepad in the kitchen what was to be used for the carer the next day.
Unfortunately mum needs 3 visits a day now, so I have had to cancel Helping Hands as mum can't afford 3 visits daily.
I just hope the new carers will be as good and reliable.
Thank you do much for all your care and help in the past 18 months.

This is an overview for the previous 12 months whereby Helping Hands have provided an excellent home visit package to my 90 year old Mum.
Living some distance away, this gives us the peace of mind that at least 3 days each week, she has some form of contact to assist with shopping & general household
tasks.
The carers are excellent & Mum looks forward to her visits

From my very first phone call to the girls that come to my Father In laws home. They are all very professional, reliable and lovely and i have total faith in them. Thoroughly recommended to anyone who is looking for help for their loved ones.

All the carers involved in Mum's care were amazing, going above and beyond to help when she most needed it. The management team managed to get extra help at short notice when Mum was taken ill. She was treated with dignity and compassion throughout.

Helping Hands have cared for my mum for several months, until she deteriorated and her care was taken over by the palliative team. Mum lives with us so we had a lot of contact with the staff. They treated mum like family, she loved them all. If they felt there was a problem, one of the management team
would call me or my daughter to let us know. They were also very helpful if I needed extra calls, they never once let me down. Nicola, the manager, and her team are professional, experienced and so very caring. I can't thank them enough for their love and care.

Helping Hands have been caring for my 100 year old dad for over a year now and I have found them to be so helpful. The care co-ordinators are responsive, empathic, knowledgeable and supportive. The carers are well trained and although they provide a significant amount of care for my Dad, they always
have time to have a chat, supporting his emotional needs as well as his physical needs.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this team.

I used HH when my father became poorly. A few years later, my mother became unwell rapidly and I called HH who put care in place the next day! It was very expensive but it was a lifesaver as my grandson was only 4 days old and I needed to be there to support his mum. We then worked out a plan to reduce
care as my mother improved. Ladies are lovely, reliable and friendly. Easy to get in touch with the office and pay monthly bill.

The carers looking after my mother are invaluable.
The relationship my mother has with them is so vital and reassuring when they take such an important role in enabling my mother to remain at home.
We were having problems the other day and with virtually no warning they were able to accommodate
full time care so that my mother was looked after fully for 48 hours.
We have not had any issues with any of the ladies. All good and all very kind.

The rota for staff is sent out to myself the week before which is great so I can tell my mum who will be looking after her.

My husband has been very happy with his experience with Helping Hands Home Care and the team who come out to shower him 3 times per week, caring and friendly - have become part of family. We are happy to recommend you and your team. We also feel your staff are highly trained to carry out their duties.
Regarding management, would help if it were possible to let clients know, where possible, in advance and who is coming out. Do understand your difficulties. Please keep up the good work, we need you.
