I cannot give high enough praise for the team at Helping Hands Chigwell.
From the office staff, to their amazing carers - the whole team have been so incredibly supportive during the last 14 months. They are all so wonderful and have really gone above and beyond for my Dad and our family.

My Husband has had Care from Helping Hands for over 3years now. The ladies that come to him are always kind, considerate and fun for him. This is I am able to go to work 3days a week. he office staff if I have to contact them are always helpful especially April the Manager.

she means well. We need staff to kindly but firmly encourage her to let them handle Dad's care, only involving her when something specific is needed that isn't readily available. This allows the professionals to do their work while also protecting my mother's own wellbeing.

I recently took on Helping Hands for my elderly mother to help with general cleaning of her home. April who I met was very helpful and ran through everything that was available to my mum and how it all worked. Donna started the following week. Mum really liked her and she did a great job taking on the
harder work that my mum can no longer do very well. She now looks forward to her visits.

This was my first experience with this agency and each member staff was excellent in their ability and manner.

My mother is 93 with Dementia and is still living at home. We started with a few visits a week from Helping Hands at the beginning of July 2025 to help me out with her care and are gradually increasing the amount of visits each week.

to have the same carer when possible which is better for her and she really likes her carer who is professional, kind and caring and who enjoys a laugh with my mum.
I have also been very pleased with the carer's vigilance around my mum's medication and the quick response when my mum was not there at a visit time.
It has also been very easy to deal with the admin side of matters. Requesting extra visits at short notice has been dealt with so efficiently and rotas are sent out promptly. Billing has been accurate and clear.
All in all a great service-thank you.

Our uncle was in need of extra help with domestic chores. As a family we went and cleaned our uncle's house to the best of our ability in a weekend. When we next visited the house it was immaculate and had been kept up to cleanliness we had left it if not better. The carers have made an excellent job
and we were so pleased with their efforts. We will be due to visit soon and hope to see the same results as before. Thank you.

I had to look for a Care Company following Mums admission to Hospital due to a serious UTI

We are very happy with this care company. My uncle enjoys their visits. They make us aware of any problems, and we sort them out together.
He went out with friends without telling anyone, the carers were very quick to let us know, and tried looking for him. Luckily he returned home, non the wiser

Very happy with the hourly care I received from Helping Hands over the last couple of years for my parents who had dementia. They finally had to go in a home due to both of them breaking their hips this year within 6 weeks of each other.

I look forward to her visits; she is always smiling and cheerful. Her years of experience in the care field mean she knows the answer to most problems (including on the tablet!), making her sympathetic to my needs, yet encouraging my own efforts. I know things will be done properly. Nothing ever seems
to be too much trouble for her. She just sees what needs to be done and does it. A given, really!
