Overall Experience

One of the carers who regularly visited us stood out for her warmth, patience and the way she treated my partner with dignity and a smile. She always communicated clearly with me and made our mornings feel easier. Her leaving is a real sadness for us, as she made such a positive impact. She will be sorely missed.

Overall Experience

From the moment Stewart left hospital after his fall, the carers provided exceptional support and compassion right through to the end of his life. Knowing he required 24/7 care was overwhelming at first, but the team immediately stepped in and made the transition as smooth as possible.

They came into the house and completely transformed it. What could have easily felt clinical or like a hospital environment instead became a warm, welcoming home again. Everything was organised properly, safely, and thoughtfully, giving both Stewart and the family real comfort and peace of mind.

A special mention must go to Anhar, the care manager, who was outstanding throughout. She was always available to take calls, answer questions, and monitor Stewart's wellbeing closely. Communication was constant, and there was always somebody there to check in or offer reassurance whenever needed. As Stewart's condition changed over time, the team carried out regular reviews and adapted the care plan.

Overall Experience

I am happy with the service I receive, especially working with 1 or 2 carers at a time. Also, ease with contacting the office is easy. The carers are always punctual, polite, caring and helpful in establishing easy relationships with me.

This has been a very positive experience after using another provider who were cheaper, but essentially failed to be able to provide even the basics. Overall Experience
When you first have to arrange care and support for your loved one and the family it can be a very scary time. I was given a list consisting of three pages of different care companies to contact, its very difficult to decide who to contact ,luckily,
I was recommended to Helping Hands and from the first time I contacted them they have been amazing,totally professional,helpful,caring,understanding, considerate and thoughtful. Helping Hands visited with us at home and also at the hospital ward, it really gave us a sense that we could feel comfortable with them and were already supporting us through a maze of the NHS .
All of the carers have a professional and caring nature they take the time to talk to our dad and get to know him which is really important to us all.

I would have no problem recommending Helping Hands , thoroughly professional in every way.

Overall Experience

The set up process was quick easy and professional. The carer provided was amazing and with the end of life support we had, those final days with our carers support provided comfort and an excellence far above what we thought we would have. Highly recommended and our gratitude will always be there. It was an extremely difficult time and our carers compassion and manner helped us more than she will ever know.

Overall Experience

We have used Helping Hands for almost 3 years during which our overall experience has improved to excellent. Any problems have been resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. The charges are high but in this case can be justified.
