Overall Experience

When one of the supervisors left and the manager retired around this time, everything went south. The office was being run by Solihull due to staff shortage and the newly appointed manager being on secondment to a branch in the SW. Nobody knew what was going on. Rotas changed with no notice. Very rude

Admin Staff.

Invoices were not being sent to my accountants. Phones not being answered.

Staff late and not correctly dressed and one arrived on two days very hung over and constantly yawning. When told of her deportment had the utter cheek to report me

The new manager has no managerial experience and has lost 7 staff and numerous customers.

I would never recommend this company.

I feel so lucky to have chosen Helping Hands with regard to the care of my Mom. From day one they have been nothing but friendly , courteous and most importantly kind in their visits to mom. Due to my mom's ongoing mobility issues and now Parkinson's, they have given excellent advice and always been

there when I've needed them. I always feel comfortable knowing they will attend if I am not there at any time and I know that mom will be looked after. They've literally been the helping hands I've needed to help me take care of mom and keep her comfortable at home. Excellent team.

Overall Experience

I can not express how happy we are with the service. My sister and I were worried about dad's reaction to having "strangers" in the house, but he loves them. He was getting lost in his mind, but now he has a purpose to get up and a routine, which is helping him immensely. I have met one of the Managers

and one carer. And both were lovely friendly people. I can not recommend Helping Hands enough.

Overall Experience

My thanks go out to Dene and his colleagues for their excellent support when I needed to arrange urgent care at home for my husband. I made the call on the morning, an assessment was carried out at home and visits from carers started on that day. When I needed to add on extra visits at short notice

they were accommodated without difficulty. Whenever I called the staff were polite, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend them.

I can't give more praise to the Coventry Helping Hands team, all of the carers are so polite, professional and punctual. The office staff are always happy to help. They have even helped me with problems with funding. My mum is truly in safe hands with the Helping Hands Coventry team. Thank you all.

There are not enough words to explain how excellent the staff are. Always very professional, and if required, they endeavour to cover a shift at short notice. Their clinical skills are exceptional, and they have high standards. I would always recommend Helping Hands.

Overall Experience

Overall mum has been cared for very well. Having carers has made a big difference to her life. She is much more cheerful and happy. It also gives her someone different to talk to.
There has been the off hiccup where the carer has been late but these things happen, she has never been left without a

visit though.

Overall Experience

I arranged for a carer from Helping Hands to visit my elderly parents three times a week as my father is caring for my mother with dementia. The carer who visits them is absolutely fantastic. Mum and dad love her and she helps my dad with doing the chores that he hates but also takes my mum for a walk

and helps to give her a shower when my dad isn't feeling well. Best of all though, she chats to them both and listens to my dad's stories from his youth which he loves. She is so caring towards them and it really helps me as I live a long way away and can't be there as often as I'd like.

Absolutely lovely carers who come out to you. They hate being late but are not given enough time between clients. Great care from the girls, very kind to you, they go above and beyond to help you. They become part of the family. They wash and dry your hair when needed and will do any job you want them

to.

Overall Experience

My carer is a wonderful person, she will do anything for me and is always pleasant. She has helped me in many ways, which I really appreciate. She took me to hospital when I had a blood clot in my lung. She stayed with me for 2 hours extra.

Overall Experience

The service Helping Hands provides for my mother has been outstanding so far.They have been professional, friendly, caring, supportive, arrive on time and always a smile on their faces when entering our family home.
Mum mainly has the same carer every week for continuity however other ladies have

attended to her and have been just as wonderful.
As a busy family home environment we would struggle without the help and support given to mum from all the team at Helping Hands Walsall.

Overall Experience

My experience of Helping Hands homecare has generally been very good with one or two minor problems. I am sometimes annoyed to find that there are deviations from the supplied rota without notice. I propose to discuss one or two outstanding matters with a particular member of staff on his return from

holiday as I think some things are best dealt with informally.
By and large I feel that Helping Hands is living up to the standard of service claimed and I am very pleased with the high standards of your carers (with one exception which I propose to discuss with a member of staff).
all I can say finally is generally well done and carry on the good work.

There are no complaints from me. I get the rota on a weekly basis, reports of any issues with Mom. All in all I am very happy. Mom enjoys her additional trips to see the Senior Citizens Orchestra. I am happy in the knowledge that I have someone three times a week nipping in to see her in addition to

my regular visits and daily phone calls. Great peace of mind

A very efficient care at home package for a family member. The company was flexible as the care requirements changed due to the gradual increase in dementia symptoms presented by the family member. The carers on site were friendly , sensitive and empathetic.

We have been using the service for approximately two years. We have always found all of the staff to be very professional and my husband feels they are very friendly and put him at ease when delivering personal care. Recently we had to request an earlier call as we had an appointment to attend. This

was easily accommodated and we left home on time and I was not stressed by rushing to get my husband ready. A big thank you to all of the staff who provide an excellent service.
