My husband has Parkinsons and the services given allows me more time to spend with him and attend to his needs. We have used Helping Hands now for over a year and as I had a hip replacement last year they helped me enormous ly. It is now July and I have had my other hip replaced so I am so grateful for their help. We have had the same person for weeks and this is most comforting.

Helping Hands (Dartford Branch) visited my late Mum every Monday and Thursday morning to help her shower and get dressed. Mum loved spending time getting to know the careers and they always showed a real interest in her as a person.

His needs changed on an almost daily basis and therefore the care requirements that the Helping Hands team were asked to provide were constantly changing too, but nothing phased them and nothing was too much to ask. Adele was so supportive and understanding; they all stepped up to the bat consistently and professionally and we are so grateful for the peace of mind it gave us at a very difficult time. Any small niggles were quickly addressed without question. All the staff I encountered were friendly, kind and genuinely cared about my Dad and his well-being. I have received care for nearly a year and really appreciate the help from all the carers who are reliable and helpful. It is a bonus to have the same carers on each day as they are familiar with all the routines in the house and my dog. I really do rely on my morning visit and look forward to having a nice catch up, and the flexibility of carers is a bonus.

Helping Hands have made a huge difference to my father in laws life but also to our families life and we are truly grateful for them.

My father has had continuity of care by the visiting carer who knows exactly what he wants. She is used to my father's ways and his routine. Overall, we are pleased with the care given and also the support for me as dad's carer at home.

Each carer came promptly and quickly took in what help we wanted. They have been unobtrusive, adaptable & quick to take in what we wanted. We have both been very satisfied with the degree of help provided.

I am very pleased with the service that my sister is receiving from the Dartford branch of Helping Hands. I am particularly impressed with the way in which they provide and accommodate for the needs of the client and also take a personal interest in the care they think the client needs, which the client themselves may well have not thought about. Leza and Adele's attitudes are both of a caring nature and concern for the client, as well as being very professional and respectful to all concerned.

Helping hands have been the greatest support for both my mother and father in law but also to the whole family. The staff have always been caring and supportive. Adele went above and beyond to fully understand the family set up and situation to help my father in law maintain his independence and dignity whilst also making sure the families care concerns were supported.

We have been using Helping Hands for just 1 week to provide care and cleaning services for my father. Dad loves having a lovely clean home and can't speak highly enough of the woman who has been cleaning for him, it's enabling to live in his own home with dignity. He is also receiving week day visits to ensure he has eaten and taken medication. He is already getting to know the main carer, who comes 3 days a week and enjoys chatting with him. The service is flexible and caring. As I don't live locally it has been such a relief to me to have someone checking in on dad and helping him maintain his independence.

Helping hands are amazing. Adele is very helpful and was very accommodating of my mum's needs. The carers were superb and always courteous to my mum. They couldn't do enough for her at all times. We were very grateful for their support.

I am an 'interested' person and I think the awareness of the staff and the overall level of their ability to converse on a range of subjects is a big psychological plus. There was some, inevitable, variation in their handling the feeding machine but this has improved. Their reliability generally is indisputable.

Helping hands have been an absolute Godsend. My mother and father benefit from an hour a day with one of the lovely ladies who genuinely care. I am very happy. Mum in particular has the benefit of valuable social contact as well as help with chores etc.

My mum needed the help of carers after she had a fall in the garden.The jobs the carers provided help with were making meals, washing up , hair washing and any other assistance my mum needed while they were there. My mum found all the carers polite, caring and helpful, and we would recommend Helping Hands to anyone looking for carers help.
