Overall Experience
My experience of using Surecare Ayrshire has been very good & very successful. When one is given new carers it is sometimes difficult to form new relationships. However, in this case, I haven't had any concerns whatsoever. On the contrary, I have settled in with the staff & they with me. We have a laugh & joke, but everything is done professionally & with much care.

I had come from another council area & had great relationships with staff, in the three years since I lost my wife. The same care has followed me here & I appreciate the way the new carers care for my need. I am a happy customer.

Overall Experience
Whilst this review is dated for June 2026 my relationship with the care company has existed for 6 years.
As a relative of someone who needs care the top thing that you want is that the care provider is able to love the patient in the way that you love your relative. This is what Surecare provide.
All the other objective things, friendly, caring, cooking, cleaning, shopping are excellent but it is love that is key.
I have found Surecare great at communicating with me, being prepared to help me and their interacting with other services such as GPs, District Nurses, Social Workers.

Overall Experience

Dad has now been a client of SureCare for the last 6 months. It has been such a relief to know that he is genuinely cared for. The management team are proactive and communication is very good. They have been flexible with the number of visits required. They will increase the visits if there have been any concerns and when my sister is staying they are happy for us to reduce the visits. The carers I have met have all had Dad's interests at the heart of their care. He talks to me about the carers positively and has obviously got to know some of them really well. The other evening he told me how nice it is he knows he is going to see people every day he can have a chat with. Initially he needed a lot of persuasion that he needed care but he has got to the point where he welcomes it and is increasingly accepting the help offered.

Overall Experience
The team from Surecare Ayrshire has been absolutely invaluable in helping to care for my mum who has Alzheimer's. They stepped in very last minute when we were really struggling and the care and compassion they have shown to my mum and me has been fantastic. It is so reassuring to have such caring people looking after mum and hugely improving her quality of life at home.

Nothing is too much trouble and they have been incredibly accommodating when extra visits are needed and when appointments with mum mean the usual time of her visits need to be adjusted. I cannot recommend the service highly enough.

Surecare Scarborough cared for my Mum for the last year or so until she needed to go into a care home. I honestly can't recommend Surecare highly enough. All of Mums carers were fantastic at their job and highly professional, yet at the same time so caring. I really felt that they treated Mum with respect and understanding. Mum wasn't always easy due to her dementia, but the carers always seemed to know how to brighten her day. They were lifesavers for me too! If you want carers who feel like friends/ family then this is definitely the team for you.

Professional and efficient service. Cleaning standards are good and the staff pleasant. I would recommend Surecare to friends and family.

They do more in 2hours than I manage in a fortnight and since I have been immobile following a recent accident they have been very helpful.

Overall Experience

This was the first time I have used a care provider for my father to allow me to get a short break. I was unsure at first but the manager put me at ease and provided a full explanation of the service available and answered any of my question. Very friendly and professional. The service they provided was great. They turned up on time, they were very friendly and made my father free at ease. They ensured that he had a meal and took his medication. I couldn't ask for any more. I would certainly use them again.

The care given has been quite good; they have been friendly, but at times I feel that I have to say what needs to be done, and at times this becomes frustrating, even though they should know what needs to be done. However, I'm appreciative of the care they give to me. I must say that there is a carer who performs all tasks that support me.

SureCare BL5 3DJ cared for my elderly father William for 3 weeks in mid April 2026 during his end of life care.
The company ensured my dad had the same 4 carers on a rota to keep consistency and my fathers dignity.
Shakir, Nouman, Husnan and Mihigo where excellent when caring for my dad at the family home to support his needs twice daily, they were warm and friendly and showed him a lot of compassion and empathy. They treated him with respect and dignity for the short 3 weeks we had left with him. I and my family thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I recently started using SureCare Scunthorpe after moving into my first social housing bungalow, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! I had a few home care providers in mind, but SureCare truly stood out for its genuine understanding of my specific needs. A special thank you to Richard for taking the time to answer all my questions during my first visit to the office. Their slogan, "care made personal," really reflects the level of service I've experienced. I'd also like to give a big shout-out to my first care worker and my key care worker, Diania, who have both been incredible. I highly recommend SureCare to anyone in need of compassionate and tailored home care! And for anyone considering working for SureCare, from what I've seen, the team truly values both their clients and their staff, making it a wonderful place to work as well.

Carers have been consistently caring, approachable, friendly and responsive. Our only concern is the timing of the tea time visit sometimes. It is because of medication involving hypoglycemic and the importance not going more than 12 hours until the morning visit and breakfast. Generally we are very satisfied with the service provided.

We would recommend sure care all the carers are lovely and thoughtful. They are always kind to mum they help with all her needs and are always considerate to mums needs.
