The home care service has created massive peace of mind for me. The staff are able to check things for me like that the phone is plugged in, internet plugged in, tablets taken, while also supporting my Mum in taking tablets, eating meals, going for walks, and making appointments.
Having staff able
to take my Mum to and from appointments has been a huge help as we don't have to delay or organise everything around my work schedule.
My Mum was reluctant at first but the staff are amazing with her and encouraging her to go for walks with them etc.
I cannot thank them enough for all that they are doing to support my Mum and me.

This was Mum's first experience of Carers coming in to her home. The ladies who came were wonderful, they talked to her, offered to do anything she needed, accompanied her for a walk round the garden. She was very satisfied with the whole process, from the manager who came for an initial booking visit,
the flexibility of availability, to the Carers themselves. We will definitely be booking again.

Helping Hands have been looking after my mother for the last 2.5 years. My sister and I could not have enabled Mum to remain in her own home if the carers had not been coming. Mum has 3 visits a day (meals and personal care) except for a couple of days when my sister and I can be with her. Both the
carers and office staff are always attentive, caring and professional. They have always been accomodating with amendments to her regular care and alert us to any issues in a timely way. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

The lovely ladies at the Eastbourne branch have been caring for my bedbound husband, who has advanced Alzheimer's , for over two years now.
They are always polite and respectful nothing being too much trouble, and have adapted well to his changing care needs.

Helping Hands have been providing care for my 93 year old mother since June 2025 following discharge from hospital, initially once a week to help with showering, but now several times a week to support her increasing needs. I have also been able to arrange temporary additional cover for when I have
been away on holiday which has been very much appreciated. They have provided excellent and compassionate care which have allowed my mother to remain independent in her own home. The staff are lovely and I can not recommend Helping Hands highly enough.

I have been very impressed with Helping Hands from meeting Sam Hale at the beginning of the process and the pairing of the carers' sent to suit my Mum. My mother needed care in April 2025 and with her, and my siblings we chose Helping Hands. Mum was a little reluctant to accept help but the care and detail used to identify carers she might get on with , was a good foundation. The carers from Helping Hands became friends to her, caring , interested
and willing to listen to her needs. The admin staff were easy to talk to and as her needs changed provided reassuring feedback back . We as a family are so glad we chose Helping Hands .They are a company who really care in every sense of the word.

Helping Hands provided the care and companionship I needed for a week following eye surgery. I live on my own and knowing that qualified carers would be visiting twice a day was invaluable. Different staff came in over the week but it did not matter. Each had detailed notes about who I was and what
I needed. They cooked me excellent meals with good conversation and company. They were caring, calm, professional and respectful. I would not hesitate to book them again or recommend them to anyone needing support in the home. I was also very impressed with the way I was assessed and the home visit to establish what my needs were face to face.
I had previously used Helping Hands before when my husband was very ill with dementia in 2024. Again excellent carers which was the reason I returned to the company.

I just want to let the general public know that Helping Hands Leeds are a care provider that really do care. My friend has been with Helping Hands Leeds for over 12 years now. There isn't a day that goes by that he let's me know that each individual carer that has visited him has treated him with the
upmost respect. His Wednesday afternoon's out to the pub with his carer & neighbour is the highlight of his week. To each individual carer and each member of staff in the office, thank you for what you do. Without you my friend wouldn't be here today. Please keep up the excellent work. Would highly recommend Helping Hands Leeds if anyone is looking for an excellent care provider.

Helping Hands have been providing support for my mother for several months now. The staff are compassionate and supportive and tailor their provision to my mothers needs. They contact me if they need to check on anything, or advise me of something needed or not as it should be. Mum is happier and looks
forward to them calling, and they have made a significant improvement to her quality of life.
Its not perfect, the very nature of the service means that the given rota times are not always achieved, but that is understandable. it has proven difficult to get additional respite visits, particularly at short notice. I'm sure this is not from want of trying to accommodate the request by the management team, but probably a reflection of staff recruitment issues in the care sector. I would not hesitate to recommend Helping Hands to friends who needed to source care provision for a relative.

I have had Helping Hands care for my Mum on 2 days a week for the past 6 months. They are amazing. Mum wasnt too keen on the idea of carers as she wanted me to do but I was struggling and needed help. Care was put into place for one day a week...Fridays. Mum soon got used to the idea but it was made
easier as the staff who attended were so lovely. I then arranged for a carer to come for an hour on Monday mornings. I cannot praise everyone at Helping Hands enough! From the care Mum receives to the communication from office staff.....everything is 5*
